Pros: Stunningly beautiful hotel, a piece of history. Both Evita Peron and Albert Einstein stayed here. Our room was great. It had very high ceilings and modern furnishings and a little balcony. The bathroom tiles were marble and the countertops were granite. It was very upscale.
I was a little hesitant to book because I had read reviews about the lack of Internet in the room, but that proved to be wrong. For 60 pesos (about 5-6 dollars), we had great Internet service in the room.
We didn't have a transformer, and they provided one for us. When we checked out, the bellboy negotiated a great fare for our taxi ride back to the airport.
A very upscale hotel, truly beautiful, a great buy for the money. The staff was wonderful and very courteous and helpful.
I was very pleased with my stay here and will stay here again when I visit Buenos Aires in the future. The location was great: very central with easy access to the subways, many bus lines and steps to the Parliament Building.

Pros: The pool & buffet breakfast were amazing! It was a chilly day in Buenos Aires so the indoor heated pool was very nice and I definitely put that to use. It is modern and clean and I enjoyed the cabanas and complimentary fresh juice. The view from the pool deck is outstanding! I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast. They offered a wide assortment. Best breakfast I have had during my stay in Argentina. The rooms are large and the beds are large and comfortable. I slept very well. I enjoyed the spa tubs and the bathrooms are very chic! Only issue was the faucet...a little quirky at times but nothing major to complain about. I enjoyed the hardwood flooring and felt very safe in my hotel room.

The breakfast was great the first day, however by the 5th day I was craving something else! Good selection of food, the scrambled eggs were runny. It's free so these are minor complaints. The hotel is right near the "obelisk." It's centrally located which makes it ideal. Quick cab rides to all the barrios.

Cons: For a nice hotel like this one, they did not have hair dryers or converters. I would have been happy to pay for a converter if they offered one so it was a little annoying and a bit of a hassle to go out searching for one. I wasted about 45min of my time but eventually found one at a local market shop for very cheap.

It is on a major avenue, and next to many subway and bus connection lines, so expect a big flow of people most of the day, but if you like walking or using public transport, it's easy to do. Rooms were clean, continental breakfast good. The hotel is old and spaces tighter than in newer ones, but it's updated. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Liked the 100% Egyptian sheets. Wooden floors; balcony; stocked mini-fridge. Great service downstairs and maids; location was amazing. Uber came quickly to this location. Gallerias Pacíficas shopping center was one block away; calle Florida was one block away; LaValle was 2 blocks away.
Cons: Older had older hotel odor. But all the other pluses overcame that.

Cons: For those of you who want posh then you might choose something different. I liked it very much. The only reason I indicated comfort as "good" instead of "excellent" because it is not a posh hotel, but it is very comfortable.

The photos in the site are fake,the real pictures are from a different rooms all together. the room was small(there was no space to open our two suitcases) and old. Blankets was torn sheets was dispicable. We wanted to upgrade our room but the lady from the reception told us there aren't any rooms available even though we saw one on line. For conclusion the hotel is old smelly and it was our worst expirance off our month travel.

Cons: I had to pay for WiFi -- every day I had to go down to the front desk to get a little slip of paper with a new username and password, which expired within 24 hours. I couldn't even buy multiple slips at the same time. The WiFi sucked anyway. I couldn't watch videos or make phone calls. Also, some of the staff at the front desk were a little rude.

Cons: We were expecting a '4 Star' property as it claims to be but received nothing even close. Our room did not have functioning AC and it was HOT, the room was tiny and seemed like it was rarely cleaned, the elevators were tiny and always full, the staff were extremely strict on the checkout time and ignored an attempt I made before arriving to adjust my reservation. For the money, there are far better hotels in BA and we will certinally be staying at them next time.
