The four PINS generated by the counter staff did not work. We all took turn to try to no avail. by then we have walked too far from the counter we could not be bother going back. No airport that I've been to had poor internet service connection like this airport, yet it is supposed to be THE WORLD'S NUMBER ONE AIRLINE. We boarded at 11.30pm, last time we flew with them they gave us supper. Last night they gave us only water. We went to sleep hungry till the morning. Since when they started to operate like those cheap airlines that you have to pay for your food? And the night package did not have eye mask.... how could we sleep... ? Singapore airline could learn from Qtar. Very very disappointed."

In-flight entertainment system: Persistent intermittent loss of sound while listening to movie or TV program. Food: Tried to use "Book the Cook" feature touted by Singapore's website. Was unable to get on site for that purpose. The last try a message appeared (late September) that site was being "rebuilt." On the flight, there was no menu of choices; we were offered 3 vaguely worded choices which boiled down to beef, chicken or vegetables. Those appeared in not particularly appetizing forms and combinations--P.S., we like east and southeast Asian cooking and had just spent 3 weeks in Japan. Failure to provide information about possible delays due to WRG deplaning location at LAX: Although we are frequent fliers to and from LAX, we'd never heard of the WRG. It would have been helpful if the crew had informed us upon arrival that there could possibly be a wait on the plane as buses were used to transport us approximately 1/2 mile to TBIT. Generally: We chose Singapore because of its reputation for excellence. Belying the name of the class, both Turkish AL and Air NZ treated Premium Economy passengers as "junior" business class. Singapore treated us as coach with a roomier cabin and seating pitch."

Cons: "First experience with Singapore where the crew made a negative impression. As soon as the plane pulled away from the terminal, crew members seemed rushed and frantic, literally running back and forth from Economy Premium to the galley gathering items. Approximately every 7-10 minutes, crew members would be running back and forth next to my seat with heavy foot steps, which would wake me up. I also noticed that certain crew members were shouting at passengers to get their attention instead of lowering themselves to be heard. One flight attendant almost spilled orange juice on me because she turned around too fast trying to serve drinks. I'm not sure if they were short-staffed, or if it was the influence of a certain crew boss, but something was definitely wrong."

Cons: "The business class seats were smaller than I thought and not so comfortable as the 777. The seats are hard and ungiving and when you sleep on them you really feel it. Plus the flatbed lay out meant you were basically lying in a question mark position, not so goof for tall people like my husband. The food was good but uninteresting and I think for an overnight flight there should be more smaller,lighter, non spicy options offered rather that full dinners."

US airline flight attendants don’t even come close to this team that truly serviced the cabin for 8 hours continuously without the typical hiding in the back of the plane and chatting. Very encouraging that genuine care in the air is very much alive and well on Singapore Air! I will fly them every chance I get!"

Cons: "I am emerald on one world. In the departure flight I was not able ot reserve an aisle seat during online checkin ( need to get up on flights quite a bit for health reasons). I had been assigned a window although aisles, my preference, were available. I sought to change seats from window to aisle and would have been charged USD $18 (on a flight within europe - why dollars?). The BA staff said the website would be fine on the return journey - but it was not. I arrnved at teh airport (not having checked in as I didn't want a window) and the BA staff person in 46 at 6:45pm simply said that's impossible to change anything - no apology; she seemed rather irritated to be asked. I then went to security and the machine for priority queue did not permit me to enter - it said 'invalid ticket'. Then the flight was significantly delayed. So all in all not a great day."

Cons: "None of them reminded me of the fact that I need a transit visa for the UK (I mean, isn't it rediculous? I am just staying there for 5 hours). When I called in for cancellation at the airline, they told me to talk to my agent company Cheaptickets. Cheaptickets simply told me that I can't get any money back, and was extremely arrogant and impatient. Later (for a week I was trying to save this ticket by talking to the British Embassy to see if I can get the visa done and they are just "we can't help you") they told me that I can get a refund of like 30 SGD and they promised to send me an e-mail about it. They never ever did. I also tried to change the dates and the handling fee + fair difference was like 1200 SGD (are you joking?) they simply told me, prices fluctuate... Finally I went to the check in counter desperate. The staff even refused to talk to me about my situation because simply, "there is no BA ticket office in Singapore" and told me to call them. I said the office is closed, but they are like, yeah just call them. They swept me off like a moron. Extremely arrogant, impatient, insensitive. I paid 900 SGD for nothing and a whole week of anxiety and regret. I will never take this and I will never use Cheaptickets or Kayak anymore. So bad."

Seats and leg room not big enough and giant metal box under the seat did not help. Yes, we could have paid extra for more leg room (I am quite tall) but that doesn't seem right (almost akin to discriminating against tall people). Booked the whole flight with BA including a connecting flight with JAL. Couldn't check-in online for the JAL flight and there was no clear information as to whether our baggage would be automatically transferred or whether we would have to collect (as was the case)."

Cons: "I waited 30min at the priority check in queue while being first in line this whole time. There was only one counter open for normal check in and one for priority when I arrived and after 20min waiting, the priority counter closed completely and there was just one counter open remaining, with just 10-15min before the check in closed. We had to wait another 10min to be able to check in our luggage! On arrival, luggage took 45min to just start delivering, completely wiping out the 30min arrival ahead of schedule."
Pros: "The crew on the aircraft were very friendly and polite."
Cons: "Not BA's fault but Nairobi is probably one of the most uncomfortable airports. We paid to go into the Aspire Lounge but was surprised that BA do not have a lounge. We flew Premium Economy but didn't think we got that much extra for the amount paid. Breakfast was one breakfast bar and that was it."
Cons: "Cabin luggage is too big for regional aircraft. Size limits need to be imposed more strictly."
Pros: "Usual efficient BA. Understated customer care"
Cons: "Flight was delayed. BA has started charging for sandwiches in economy. Have they decided to join the ranks of Ryan air and EasyJet? What next - Charging for food and drinks in economy on long haul and become like American, United and Delta? Where is the brand defferentiator? Someone in BA needs to understand that BA is perceived as a premium brand. Don't devalue it"
Pros: "The crew as ever were excellent"
Cons: "Who ever took the decision to charge for food and drink but still charge BA fares must have been a Trump Supporter!"
Pros: "Check-in Ticket printed by BA staff at the airport had the wrong gate number so I was sat in the wrong part of the terminal until I got suspicious and double checked the screens to find my flight had started boarding elsewhere. Entertainment system had a screen from the mobile phone you owned more than a decade ago. Breakfast was a Kellogg's chew bar. Staff onboard were excellent."
Cons: "Food was not up to BA standard"
Pros: "Absolutely nothing"
Cons: "Being trapped at Edinburgh airport. The incompetence of BA. The shocking state of their aircraft. Their inability to understand customer service."
Pros: "Crew were very efficient and friendly"
Cons: "Premium economy seats weren't as good as Singapore airlines ones. The seats had small screens and leg room was a bit restricted"
Pros: "Premium economy seats - even the old ones that were on this flight - are still a better experience than economy but I didn't find the difference in price worth what was delivered."
Cons: "Service was scattered compared to the LHR > JFK leg. No "welcome aboard" drinks, staff seemed very distracted, frantic and a bit disorganised. Food was very disappointing and I'm pretty sure it gave me a sick stomach for 24 hours after."
Pros: "The whole experience was depressing."
Cons: "BA operates T5. It's their hub. They operate to a schedule. Aeroplanes come and go at the same times every day. So why did our flight land, and the ground crew were taken by surprise - "Ooo look - a plane! Full of passengers! And us working at an airport... Who knew?! Do you think the lights are attracting them? Let's all hide and perhaps they'll go away..." We landed from Edinburgh, taxiid in, and parked. No airbridge - don't be silly! And a 20 minute wait to disembark while they rousted a few idle layabouts out of their fetid pits of sloth to stand around and occasionally wave an arm in a desultory fashion in tne general direction of the shopping centre - sorry, "terminal building". Terminal is the right word. From now on I'm joining ABBA - Anyone But British Airways - not least to avoid Terminal Five..."
Pros: "On time departure and early arrival"
Cons: "Boarding via bus and poorly managed. Early arrival benefit negated by long delays in baggage hall"
Cons: "It took ages for the crew to organise everyone to load their hand luggage. It caused an hour delay, which is unacceptable. They need to come up with a system to improve this experience."
Pros: "Good seat in club world. Fast track through immigration and security."
Cons: "Slow service on board and lots of children taking up the club world cabin. Had to pay extra to choose seat and issues with seating took away from the peaceful experience that should be associated with business class."
Cons: "2 Hours delay and not enough information about it."
Pros: "Getting off the plane in London"
Cons: "They didn't check if the belts was buckled up on everyone. Also, we have a 5 months old baby and never got the supporting belt for takeoff and landing, never got a baby floating device placed near us or asked if the pilot should fill in the baby's BA log book... staff also looked unfriendly to babies when we boarded, saying 'oh, this is the 3rd one' and looking at eachother in agony."
