Cons: "I was eligible for a complimentary hotel for my connection. However, in none of my correspondence was mentioned that I'm supposed to request a hotel ahead of departure. No emails from Kayak and neither Emirates. This is extremely disappointing and unnecessarily costly"

I was sandwiched between two other travelers on a three-seater arrangement. Again, is it just on flights to Kenya or other African countries that passengers DO NOT receive the travel pouch?"

Cons: "I started my journey from JFK with Emirates and before booking ticket I checked with customer care representative regarding the baggage allowance and I was told that I am allowed to carry up to 55 inch . I just carried 43 inch tv weighing 19lbs and one check-in baggage weighing 21kgs and they made me pay 175$ saying that tv size is not in allowed limitations. I have also filed complaint but didn’t get any response so far . Last year my husband carried 55 inch with ethihad from same airport JFK and was not charged single penny. so I can say there is no airport restriction as well."

Cons: "crew doesn’t seem to talk to each other. advised multiple times that my touch screen didn’t work and that i didn’t want the jain meal. your check-in interface does not allow changing food preferences. this should change"

Pros: "My flight left on time and from the moment I was greeted upon entering the A380 Airbus, I knew I was in for something very special. As prepared for departure, blankets and pillows were distributed amongst the passengers. Once in flight, dinner and in the morning, breakfast. And, throughout the night, the flight attendants attended to passenger requests for beverages and snacks. The plane was clean and, maybe I need to compliment my fellow passengers also, for the washrooms were clean and well maintained. We arrived on time and the trip seemed rather short with the entertainment of movies, news and inflight updates. Thanks again Emerates...you have brought back flying to it's original objective to give service and a safe means of travel. See you soon. Philip Dorn"

Cons: "The seat was uncomfortable because it did not convert into a completely horizontal bed. The small incline meant that I could not get comfortable and could not sleep. The screens remain on even when passengers go to sleep, making it very bright in the cabin. It would be good if staff could walk through and turn them off manually."

Cons: "Our trip coincided with Eid. It's probably as busy a travel period as Thanksgiving. There were maybe 40 or 50 small kids on the plane, with concomitant noise, mess, and confusion. Everyone was packed in. Boarding felt chaotic. Staff did their best. Food was not as good as on some Emirates flights I've been on. However, it was over quickly. No harm done. Flying can be delightful. Or not. And Emirates seems to handle those days when "not" pretty well."

Cons: "I was not let onto the flight in Entebbe because I arrived at the airport an hour before the flight departed. I was given no notice of this rule (apparently only applicable on Emirates flights) and was forced to delay my trip 2 days and pay an additional $1045 for a replacement flight home."

There were no further services offered after the tea and coffee service... 3 full hours before we landed! Also, the economy class seats are extremely cramped. When the person in front of me leaned their seat back, I couldn't eat my mael comfortably and the TV screen was 12 inches away from my face."

Most of them spent most of the time eating, drinking and talking between them. They probably spent a better flight than us. For a 7 hours flight they offered us just once to have a drink. Their office was completely messy. Nobody really care about their job. They all seemed to be in training period."

Cons: "If you are going to travel with a little one, have the common decency to help your poor wife take care of them as well. You had three seats, the entire middle aisle, yet you decided to take the open seat next to me so they could lay down together. That was nice, I get it, sure. But if your baby is going to cry for hours (and hours, it was a 10.5 hour flight, that poor kid must have been exhausted), pause the movie for a minute, and maybe try to help. I don't mind being inconvenienced for the little ones, I'm a dad of 4 myself, I've traveled a lot and know how it goes. But jesus christ, she's your wife, that's your child, try taking care of them."

I was not offered an alcoholic drink throughout the flight and when I requested a wine, it never arrived. The trolleys seemed to be piled high with rubbish."

Cons: "The reason for an OK overall is that I left a personal item on the flight. I contacted the airline an hour after my flight landed and they showed no urgency to recover my item that had a lot of value to me. If they could have pages the cleaning crew on the ground, I'm sure I would have recovered my notebook. Instead they told me to check 4 hours later. When i did check 4 hours later, they told me to check in 2-3 days. When i checked in 2-3 days they asked if I filed a report. Which I wanted to on the same day but was told not needed. Very disappointing ground services."

Never come when ask for service and completely ignores my first request of an extra blanket if possible. Never comeback to let me know if they have one or not and I was freezing to sick. I have to walk to the back of the plane to find someone to bring me a blanket. Yet he tries to cast me off by lying that he could not find one. When he realize that I really need one he said I can take one from empty seat if I can find any. But after me finding a blanket of another color on one of the empty seat he take it away rudely saying that it is "not for you". Come on I wouldn't take it if no one cares about me freezing and he finally bring me a blanket. And the crew was very unfriendly to me the entire time. When I tried to lay down a little, somehow it surprised the passenger who is behind me, the crew make such a scene that ask me outloud "be careful when moving your seat" well I did. Basically they make no efford to care about anything about me but are super nice to the people who's is behind me who are white and elder. Such obviously discrimination that I cannot tolerant. I have been having frequent international travel for the past 7 years and this is the first time I have such unpleasant experience. I do not recommend this company to anyone. be warned."
