Pros: "It's not the cheapest way to fly but it's a great way to cross the Atlantic. Seats are big enough for 2, really. Lay flat beds make the night crossing east tolerable. You really can get several hours sleep. The cabin crew is outstanding, patient, and extremely responsive to requests. Two meals served were excellent. Entertainment choices were complete. After a number of flights in Economy on other airlines I'm spoiled by Singapore Airlines and also by Business Class. And their fares seemed much less than others for the JFK to FRA route. Had no idea this level of luxury existed on an airplane."

Cons: "I Booked a flight that stated that it only had one stop in singapore, then direct to SFO after arriving in singapore i was told that i had to go to a transfer counter, that there was a problem with my ticket. after arriving at the transfer counter they took my boarding pass for my dircet flight to SFO, & told me that i now had a stop in hong kong, that the direct flight to SFO was over booked!! this is not right i wouldn't of booked this flight if they had been truthfull about the extra stop. i will never use singapore airline or kayak again!!!"

Plenty of leg room on the flight and the cabin staff were fantastic, only thing that let it down was the food choice, but, as it was only a 3 hour flight this wasn;t really a problem. I am not sure British Airways has any input to this but the line in arrivals for US passport holders was approximately 2.73 miles long while the line for UK/EU passports was perhaps 40 feet long - not a very welcoming situation. Perhaps a little pressure applied by the major airline could improve this situation."

Yes, we could have paid extra for more leg room (I am quite tall) but that doesn't seem right (almost akin to discriminating against tall people). Booked the whole flight with BA including a connecting flight with JAL. Couldn't check-in online for the JAL flight and there was no clear information as to whether our baggage would be automatically transferred or whether we would have to collect (as was the case)."

When asked if I could eat it later since I am really tired and wanted to rest, the stewardess just hush me to eat it now since later light will be off. It would be better if the food is served as breakfast before arrival."

Also you switched our flights until they were right after one another. We got on a flight at 12 pm right after we ate lunch. We fly for four hours with no food. We get to the terminal and have to run through to catch our next flight so no food. Then fly another two hours with no food and end at 2 am still hungry. Offer something to eat to your customers, don't be a shitty airline."

Therefore, when I got to the Pudong airport, I just didn't have a ticket. I was passed from one person to another without explanation what was going on. Then the person who finally helped me was incredibly rude and even told me to "not say anything" to him when I voiced my complaint. I wasn't allowed to pay by card only cash. 2. The flight was delayed by over an hour and I wasn't allowed to use the toilet for over an hour. 3. The crew were unfriendly and unprofessional. We were waiting to take off for so long I had finished all my water and when they finally came around to give us water, IN THE MIDDLE OF GIVING ME MY WATER the steward decided to chat with another stewardess for a minute. That was the last straw. It was the worst possible flight on top of it being red eye. SO incredibly unprofessional. It's like they purposefully want you to feel bad for choosing a budget airline. And it's not even that budget. I am never going to fly with this airline again."
