Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Pros: "Always good movies"
Cons: "Overall everything is good , with the actual situation I font think is a problem with the airline or employee"
Cons: "Our bag was tagged as Priority, and was literally the last one off the plane. We clearly have different definitions of that word."
Cons: "Delayed by an hour and spent most of it taxiing."
Pros: "that we were able to depart before the airport curfew kept us from leaving since the plane was so late"
Cons: "the flight crew was late getting in from another flight which risked flight cancellation due to airport curfew. This is the second time in 3 years that I've had this experience with United."
Pros: "Seat was roomier. Food was good."
Cons: "Flight was canceled and I was left stranded."
Cons: "To actually be on it would’ve been awesome"
Pros: "Food was actually quite decent"
Cons: "In-seat entertainment systems malfunctioned for roughly half the flight, which was quite disappointing"
Cons: "The unplanned layover in HNL was very poorly handled."
Pros: "There is nothing to like about Air Canada's Rouge service. Their sardine seat layouts are amongst the worst in the industry."
Cons: "1. Seat comfort. 2. On-time departure. 3. Boarding Procedures. 4. Pre-boarding announcements."
Pros: "Crew was kind and apologetic after 2.5 hour delay, provided water before take off and tried to be accommodating."
Cons: "The change of planes forced our family of 4 to all be separated. In order to care for my ill husband I had to accept a seat change to a middle seat. Our original seats put us in seats 18 A B. My daughter was ticketed in row 40 and my son in front. We paid for economy plus, 1 out of 4 didn't get it!"
Cons: "Excellent flight but United lost my bag"
Pros: "Crew were great, especially considering we had a couple of mishaps travelling with a five year old and five month old. Despite being a mega long flight it was comfortable and we were well looked after."
Cons: "Seats are a little narrow on the exit rows and bulkhead as the armrests accommodate the TV and tables. This also means they can’t be moved. Not unique to Air NZ though."
Cons: "You have to pay for everything"
Cons: "The only TV/movie option was to pay almost $10 (this was a long flight, Newark to Portland, OR). Seats seem smaller and more cramped than some other airlines. Cost to check first bag is $30 (compared to $25 with some). Overall I will try to avoid this airline in the future."
Pros: "On time!! Arrived in Athens early:)"
Cons: "Very poor quality food! For breakfast I received a rock-hard croissant and a fruit plate with 9 grapes and 4 tiny pieces of mellon. The 767 plane was extremely noisy. Good thing I have noise cancelling headphones. Limited selection of movies and for some reason I could not locate any song or music categories."
Pros: "I got super lucky and had three seats to myself, it's a long flight just over 12hrs and good sleep is precious. The entertainment options were excellent and I watched some great first run movies. Food was quite good with options, beverage service standard. Restrooms were readily accessible and "clean.""
Cons: "We left SFO an hour late waiting for a handful of late passengers - good for them though, eh? The rest of the passengers on plane were packed in like sardines. Seemed to me that too much space on plane dedicated to the premium 'cabins' for the uber rich, but they were interesting to look at."
Cons: "Video monitor inop and the audio on next passenger inop."
Cons: "Check in clerk was mean nasty and said several times we could not fly because we didn’t have our tickets rather then helping us use the airport printer to print our tickets she said you can’t print you ticket until you show me your ticket. She should be fired it was united airlines won’t fly them again"
Pros: "I liked the customer service wfrom the woman who helped us find a way with patience to get a working card to get our luggage checked in. I liked the customer service on the flight they were attentive and friendly."
Cons: "The options to pay baggage with one card is rough on the average traveler, the baggage charges cost as much tickets!"
Pros: "Making the decision to never fly United again"
Cons: "Our bags had to be re checked at a 20 minute lay over. It bags didn’t even come out until after our connecting fight had departed. We were stick in Houston for a night and both missed work. We will never fly United again"
Cons: "My United connecting flight was delayed. I rushed to arrive at the gate prior to the departure time to be told the plane had left early and I had been rescheduled to the next morning at 7am. However, there were no vouchers available for me to stay in a hotel or get food. So, I was able to get a flight on American that got me home the same night. By the way, the American flight was delaying takeoff to wait for passengers who had been delayed on their connecting flights."
Pros: "Can’t think of a thing on this flight."
Cons: "Delay after delay. Took way too long for de-icing. The storage compartmemt door got stuck and I could not get my bag out. The flight attendant blamed the issue on my bag. She claimed it was too big. It was not. I have carried the bag on several flights with similar planes, the gate agent slowed it on the plane as many have, and I had no issue opening and closing other compartment as I tried a couple after maintenance retrieved my bag."
Pros: "See above"
Cons: "See above"
Cons: "Ride was bumpy"
Pros: "Flight attendant"
Cons: "No door operations"
Cons: "Food sucks. Looks very cheap. Tasteless. Entertainment is so outdated. Cerws are so rude. I'm not flying with them ever."
Pros: "Boarding was easy and smooth. Even the seats in economy had plenty of leg room."
Cons: "I am not a fan of United WiFi. I was never able to watch more than five minutes of anything before the program had "unfortunately stop responding""
Pros: "On schedule"
Cons: "This was an unfortunate and uncomfortable end to a great trip. The seating area is tight and the seats lack cushioning. I experienced more cramping and discomfort on this one hour flight than on all of the entire 9.5 hrs of preceding flights."
Cons: "Being told that the United Wi-Fi was not working and then being told we could "Rent" tablets to watch movies on. They should have been free or very low-cost."
Cons: "Late departure blaming weather but there was no weather issue where they referenced (we all can check online these days guys -_-) RUDE crew, ran out of food (to purchase no less) by row 18 on a 38 row plane, almost missed connecting bc crew made no effort to help get people with tight connections off the plane first. I hate this airline. I am legacy Continental with 14yrs of business travel experience. United, you suck."
Pros: "Despite the recent incident United Airlines strives for ultimate customer service. There ancillary customer amenities truly are way above any other Airline that I've experienced in The Last 5 Years. When you first class and have access to the United Club room it is truly a very comfortable experience."
Cons: "Nothing everything they did was amazing"
Pros: "Crew worked hard and were terrific."
Cons: "I wasnt allowed a carry on because there was no room on the plan. unfortunately what I planned on carrying aboard was fragile and could not be checked. I was stuck in seattle hoping for another flight I would be able to board. When ever possible I will do my best to avoid United"
Pros: "On time"
Pros: "EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT. THANK YOU"
Pros: "United personal quickly found our bag location and made the arraingement to send it to us ASAP."
Cons: "The fact that the only bag we checked in with the airline did not arrived in our plane with out any warning what so ever."
Pros: "Fast boarding. Flights were on time."
Cons: "Very cramped seating in the back of the plane."
Pros: "The friendly co-travelers as there is no food or entertainment for people on a budget. Better than my flight TO SLC which was cancelled the first day, then delayed the 2nd day. Airport services saved my day by carting me to the connecting flight TO SLC from Denver as there was only 15 minutes to get from one end of the concourse to the other. A little difficult to run there at my age. Any chance of allowing people with connecting flights disembark first instead of last in this situation?"
Cons: "Due to inclement weather conditions no liquids were served. Small bottles of water would be great - less likely to spill over in bad weather and thirst would also be quenched. Lack of luggage space for those of us with the correct allowance hand luggage instead of all the extra large pieces because people don't want to go to baggage claims or pay for baggage. Truly their suitcase not paid for is the same as mine paid for. Difference is the inconvenience of having to keep my hand luggage at my feet because of the larger pieces filled by passengers in group 1, 2, and 3 over my designated seat area."
Cons: "THe sits where very uncomfortable."
Cons: "The wi fi should be free of charge"
Pros: "Seats were comfortable and had plenty of leg room"
Pros: "Everything. We were held up in traffic and United was so accommodating. We were in awe"
Pros: "The stroopwafels are amazing."
Pros: "Crew was efficient, professional and pleasant."
Cons: "No food; only a drink. Tight seating. No entertainment. The sun kept bouncing off the magazine and iPhone of the lady kitty-corner across the aisle into my eyes-- very uncomfortable!!"
Pros: "The crew was helpful to a family with a girl in a wheelchair."
Cons: "Tray table and windows were dirty. Don't care for the waffle cookie they serve."
Pros: "excellent aircraft, business class was roomy and comfortable, equipment was clean and the flight attendants were attentive but not overbearing ... they let me rest when I wanted to rest ..."
Pros: "Great stewardess"
