Disappointed, crew was impolite, no smile.
Cons: "I did not take the flight. The airline changed the scheduled flight. I reached out to JustFly who booked the flight and they said they would rebook a new flight for me but I have yet to receive any notice that my flight was changed."

Pros: "Anytime I have flown with a star alliance airline, I've been more than satisfied with the flight, the cost, the crew and the service. All star alliance member airlines are an excellent choice. Truly EVA is one of the "Stars" in Asia and it shows."

Pros: "Though the boarding process for this flight had the passengers take a shuttle to board the plane, I actually preferred this, because it seemed that the process was more efficient. The crew was quick to get everyone settled and our flight departed within just a couple of minutes from the original departure time. Seemed as though it was way faster than the normal gate departures of most flights I've been on."

Cons: "The only problem with the flight was out of China Airlines control. A shuttle bus to terminal had issues and we had to wait onboard for another bus. The crew still did a great job keeping us informed of the situation."

Cons: "Seat assignments are not given until you check in at the desk. I bought this flight many months in advance and could not choose my seat at that time. I then tried to get a seat when I was sent an email saying "check into your flight and reserve your seat". Websight would not let me do either so I went to check into my flight earlier then normal only to find out that my only option was middle seat. Tried to change the seat and was given the run around to go to different gates, which I did and the attendant just kept telling me to go to a different gate. Very frustrating and very uncaring and unfriendly attendants. This was a super long flight and very uncomfortable. I will consider another airline when making my next travel booking."

I prefer boarding by rows, especially when traveling with my young son. Air crew seemed pretty uninterested in anything beyond the basic requirements of the job."

Pros: "I have flown on many airlines to include many US carriers for domestic travel, as well as, many international carriers. I have flown around the world 4 times in the 2016-2017. These flights were flown in Coach. I have to say that China Air was remarkable in its service, cleanliness, on-time departure and arrival, and all around airline operation. The meals were decent, the entertainment was well rounded, the aircraft was clean, the seats were wider and had greater leg room, the flight attendants were responsive and trained, and the on ground support was very helpful. I don't have anything negative to say about China Air and I have crossed the Pacific on thief airline three times now."

Pros: "This was my first time using China Airlines and it won't be my last. This was a superior flight with a wonderful flight crew and clean aircraft. We flew them roundtrip from Okinawa to Frankfurt. Highly recommended."
