I don't understand why passengers are frequently told that they must check their carry-on luggage due to the full flight and we board and find there are multiple empty overhead cabins with space for our carry-on. Crew should be more accurate in their assessment of the space (they have radios and I assumed they were in communication with a crew member on the plan who could tell them that the spaces were full or that there were remaining spaces). We were told in no uncertain terms that any remaining passengers yet to board had to check their carry on because no space remained on the plane, but there were multiple spaces available (including some that were completely empty) when we boarded. As someone who travels with things I must have with me, I do not appreciate this misinformation which causes me delay because I have to wait at baggage claim to get my small carry-on.

If Alaska Air is going to partner with other airlines, then it has to make the transition to the connecting flight better, especially if Alaska Air is the one that is running late. When I realized our 30 minutes of lateness due to weather was going to make getting to my connecting flight home more difficult ,I would have expected more from the crew than blank stares and "sorry". My son and I had 20 minutes to get from Gate E to the end of Gate K in the Chicago airport. My 50+ year-old body had to sprint and yell to get through the throngs and have any chance of arriving to the gate on time. In addition, the seats I had chosen when I purchased the connecting flight were changed so that my son and I placed in the last rows next to the bathrooms and were separated. There needs to be better communication between the airlines if one is going to be late. The thought of not making it home on time (we still had an 1.5 hour drive to get there) was stressful and unnecessary.
On time. Seats were comfortable. Staff was great. The plane was freezing cold! (And I prefer it to be cold, but it was freezing!) And they only offered water or juice. But overall, would fly again!
They had all the passengers running around the airport as they kept changing the gate (from B7 to C1 to B16). Then they were saying the flight would be delayed and then they immediately boarded it, almost standing passengers who'd wandered off thinking it was delayed.
Good and easy. Seats are a bit crammed and plane was small.
Be prepared for departure delays at SFO while the runways are under construction. No fault of the airlines, so be flexible. Alaska is my favorite air line but needs to pay flight attendants for all the time they're at work, not just when in the air.
Crew was great snacks could be approved upon. Healthier options
Everything was great but there were no entertainment options available.
Flight was delayed 2 hours. It was too cold inside the cabin. My seat mate had no jacket so she was shivering the entire flight. The stewardess says there’s no available blanket.
The plane had to sit on the tarmac for 45 minutes once it had landed. Not Alaska’s fault.
After 5 hours of delay, they cancelled the flight. Very disappointed
My flight to LA was cancelled. I waited at the airport for 3 hrs saying it was delayed and then all of a sudden it was cancelled. Frontier only gave me a voucher and refund but could not rebook me. Flights on other airlines were too expensive last minute. I had to drive down to LA and didn’t even take my return flight home since I had to drive. One of the worst airline experiences in my life. It’s crazy how airlines can just upend people’s plans just like that.
Flying Frontiier was extremely poor!! I paid for a7:15am flight on flight 1601 from PHL To Las Vegas and the delay was brutally, excruciatingly and disgustingly long (8 hrs). I arrived by Uber to PHL at 5:30 am and had to spend the entire 8 hr delay inside the airport. Even more atrocious was that the flight was delayed twice. On the phone with customer service for two hours and was not fully compensated. I feel taken advantage of with this airline. They offered a menial couched for another flight within 90 days to me and my husband who has never flown but this experience has made us almost 100% sure to not fly this airline and will suggest that others don’t either. We don’t want to book ever again, don’t want a menial voucher and I believe by standard and because the flight was delayed for 8 hours, I should be fully reimbursed for the entire round trip. There is no excuse why this should have ever occurred. After sharing my experience with others in Vegas and Philadelphia, I was told that Frontier airlines is notorious for long delayed flights, poor customer service and refusal to compensate people correctly. I’m very nervous to see what departing from Vegas to Philadelphia will bring.
Flight was 3 hours late leaving. Poor communication from the staff about delays. Impossible to get in touch with customer service (by design). And it actually didn't come out to be much cheaper than a non-budget airline! Not worth the headache, I'm never flying Frontier again
The flight attendence were extremely rude and I am disabled
Bad experience… crew are extremely strict with personal bags… they overcharge me coz my bag was one inch H
They wouldn’t let us on the flight even tho we were an hour early. No refund not even our bags that were prepaid
I did not enjoy the trip home on Frontier for several reasons: there is too much cost besides the flight, which was more than I would normally pay, then having to pay for luggage, and carry-on, seat (if you want to reserve when booking) then you must pay over $3 for a can of soda, and $4 for a snack. A cup of water is free.
I strongly dislike Frontier. I find them barebones, the seats not particularly comfortable, the nickel and diming is maddening, the app is TERRIBLE - super confusing to navigate, and the last 4 frontier flights I have flown have been on AVERAGE 2 hours late, one ruining a fancy night out in Vegas with reservations made well in advance, which was nodded to with a measly 5000 miles, which translates to almost nothing. At least credit a free checked bag or something.
8 hr delay. had to buy another ticket with another airline
