That’s just outrageous and the staff was not helpful at all"

Pros: "Booked these flights though Kayak. Landing from LAX at 0730 at Auckland international terminal and then departing at 0900 from the domestic terminal. This is not enough time, doesn’t allow for customs and immigration. It was a really stressful experience running between terminals with my luggage, as there was less than a 1 hour window after getting through customs and immigration, so the bag drop at international wouldn’t accept them. Got to departure gate 12 minutes before plane departure. You need more time to have a good experience !"

We were at the airport at least 2 1/2 hours before boarding time. The mistake could have been rectified, we were told it would need an email from Virgin to confirm and change the booking. We photographed and sent through passport details. We phoned the booing site, we phoned Virgin, we were put on hold for 25 mins while the booking site phoned Virgin - but Virgin refused to help us out! My husband was not able to board the flight - no refund, no help - and the sad part was, it wasn't for a holiday - it was to visit and help his 87yr old father-in-law who had fallen and cracked his spine. No sympathy from Virgin, VERY DISAPPOINTED!"

Virgin's standard ticket has 23kg luggage included. What is the problem with a ticket bought online through agents such as BYOJet and Kayak?"

So, we were flown to Christchurch & given hotel accommodations for the night, only to be flown BACK the next day to Wellington to catch a flight to Dunedin. All in all quite infuriating."

Fiji Airways didn't notify me of the delay until I was already at the airport checking in so it wasted even more time and money. I bought this ticket because the flight time was convenient. Then it left at 3:55am which is the worst time to leave because I couldn't sleep beforehand and felt awful the whole evening and during the flight and after. To top it off the airline wouldn't check my bag through to my final destination. I was very unhappy with how this occurred."

Cons: "My Fiji flights between Honolulu and Auckland were cancelled so they rebooked me on Jetstar and New Zealand Airways Apparently the international date line was not taken into account and I arrived in Sydney hours after my connecting flight to Auckland had already left! I talked to 7 different people in all corners of Sydney airport and no one knew what to do with me. My attempts to call Fiji Airways from my cell phone and then a landline at the airport didn't go through so I ended up messaging a friend in the States and she was able to call and get me booked on a NZ Air flight to Auckland that left the next morning. Both Jetstar and NZ Air gave me different information on what paperwork I needed and what my baggage and carry-on allowance was, which was frustrating. I finally arrived in Auckland 26 hours later than scheduled. I understand the cyclone cancelling the Fiji flights but the rescheduling error caused some significant expenses and a great deal of hassle."

The ,late flight into Sydney cause us to miss our flight into Brisbane (our ticketed destination city). As we de-planed on the Jetway was a woman holding a sign with 12 - 114 names on it, we were one. She told us to go the the transfer desk and they would help us. We had never been in Sydney, could not find a transfer desk (there was none) found the ticketing counter - nobody there, found the airline office - nobody there, went back to the ticket counter nobody still there, asked a competing airline, they directed us to an air travel management office, where we found Fiji Air personnel. They were surprised we were not told where to go. they tracked down the office manager. We finally met with him at 1:40 PM, he told us our flight was in the domestic terminal and scheduled to leave at 2:00 PM. There was no way we could make it to the plane on time. He was rather rude to us and asked us how we thought we were getting to Brisbane, We responded with "I don't know as we've never been here before". Having never been there. we did not know there was an international and a domestic terminal at the Sydney airport. He told us who we were to fly out on and he was going to call over to the other airline and straighten it out. We went to the domestic terminal tried to check in for our flight, but we could not. That airline called Fiji Air to find out why, after half an hour they were told Fiji Air would not honor our flight as we were noted as "no Shows"/. We had to book another flight to Brisbane. The flights were great, we have had VERY BAD EXPERIENCES with the ground personnel,"

I believe they have not take mayor precautions for the pandemic they can do better..."

Pros: "The gate counter gentleman was fantastic. I was seated at the window and I had lost my compression socks on the flight just a couple days before so I wanted to be able to get up and stand without climbing over a passenger. Since I am over 60 years of age, I asked if there was an opportunity in the very back to have an empty seat next to me. Me did find me one and I TOTALLY appreciated it. I used to have the status to have the better seats and it was hard to lose that...this was wonderful. Thanks for making me feel valued."

Once sweaty on board the flight was turned back to the terminal delayed three hours and I missed my flight home that day. I then spent from 11pm to 8am in the terminal"

Cons: "My flight last week they had us board and then de plane do to plane maintenance after I traveled litterly all day it added an extra hour. Then this flight Washington connection to Detroit from raleigh the pilot never showed up and extra hour went by, we got a new pilots but, then leading to faulty paperwork that took another hour and thirty minutes after boarding the plan to get sorted. When we got that sorted they then proceeded to tell us that the flight atendent had to leave and we had to wait another 20 min for another atendent to arrive before finally making our way to Detroit.
