I found the male stewards on this flight a lot more helpful I'm not saying the women weren't as well. Gender balance is good. Overall everytime I have flown Korean Air the service has been exceptionally pleasant and I feel confident and safe. Knock on wood I hope they keep striving for excellence and not lose it along the way like so many other airlines over the years."

Softer lighting be a little bit more comforting to the eyes, besides don't each seat have its own light source if extra lighting is needed!"

Flight attendant serving our section kept knocking into aisle seat passenger, including knocking over his coffee cup and spilling coffee all over him and the passenger next to him. Flight attendant's reaction was to panic instead of handing over napkins or paper towels - was mopping up with my napkins and tissues by the time she showed up with some paper towels. I was left with the impression that flight attendants were picked more for looks than competence. Checking in at Incheon took a very long time - they should open more counters or give warning to passengers of how long it can take."

Cons: "During the same trip I discovered 2 different arrangements of the Business Class cabin on Singapore Airlines A350, SQ469 CMB-SIN, and SQ036 SIN-LAX. On the SQ036, I occupied seat 15 A (mono, aisle-window): I did not understand the reasoning behind this layout: Seat facing straight the front of the aircraft, but not enough space to stretch the legs, and limited height for the footrest, feet getting hurled against a ceiling very quickly, and also footrest only on one side = one foot. The deep cavity, that is probably meant to house the lie-flat disposition, is at a 45° angle with the general direction of the seat. I am 77 and not in any way a contortionist. I decided that the best course of action was to remain seated for the duration of the 14:30 hours, flight without extending my legs. Maybe the crew could have explained how the passenger is supposed to fit into that weird design, but I did not ask, afraid that the demonstration might reawaken chronic shoulder and hip pain. I would be glad to read (not test) how this configuration is supposed to convey the sense of comfort expected from a Business Class ticket. It did nothing of the kind for me."

I was very disappointed finding out that travel pack consists only toothbrush and tootpaste with socks included. Pros: "I really like the Qatar flight from Auckland to Manchester. But beware now that the Akl leg leaves 1 hour later the transit in Doha is officially 1.15hr. But since the first leg is always getting in and you have to bus to the terminal, transit time is about 30 mins. Although they are efficient and i made it this time, i wouldn't want to do this with kids."

Cons: "Due to a misunderstanding at check-in we have been seated away from a baby bassinette (although booked) to sit together with my husband, nobody asked what my preference would be (sitting as a whole family or having a bassinette) and a 17-hour flight with a 9month old baby constantly on my lap was challenging. Also a very disappointing selection of films and documentaries for adults. I ended watching a kids movie with my older daughter and it was the only thing I found appealing. Kids section very good though, my 5-year old was glued to the screen and all the options had my approval :)"

There was a misunderstanding during check in that it was a mandatory requirement to make hotel reservations for quarantine without it you can’t board the airline.So we had to booked a hotel last minute and it was the wrong hotel since it’s not accredited by DOH Philippines. Since it was last minute we can’t get a refund or cancel the hotel. It was stressful and unnecessary hassle.

Each time it woke me up. While that info is important, maybe just have the seatbelt sign on all the time, and put words on the screen when there is turbulence, during the sleeping time of the flight."

Attendants are some of the nicest I've ever met, though their English (and PA announcements, etc) will be a bit hard to understand unless you're used to communicating with folks for whom English is a second language. They're also all softspoken, which is very soothing, but even harder to understand what they're saying! Seats are also BIG and have a great recline (seat and seat back) on the Airbus. Flying on a daytime departure from NYC to ICN I had a lot of empty seats to stretch out on and it was pretty quiet for a long flight to Asia."
Cons: "Seats are HARD! I'm not sure how you even make a hard airplane seat but they've figured it out on the Airbus for sure. The solution: get a second pillow to use as a seat cushion. Solves the problem. Also, the "upgrade" to the bulkhead seat is only good if you have a baby in a carrier or really long legs. If you like having your bags near you, or want to keep stuff at your feet to work on, or like to raise the arm between seats, or have a tray table and pocket in front of you... you won't have any of those in the bulkhead upgrade seat. And the phone customer support simply doesn't know enough English to explain these things properly. Fortunately someone else was happy to switch with me. Lastly, they really don't understand that special meals do not need to lack in flavor. Non-Lactose Meals are super boring in flavor - and there was no reason at all not to serve the bulgogi or spicy pork dishes for the NLML! They seemed surprised when I asked to switch it, which suggests to me that the attendants don't even know what 'non-lactose' means, though they were very sweet about confirming and delivering me my special (bland) meals. But asking for a packet of gochujang solves that problem!"

The plane going to our destination had an updated online entertainment system -- touch screen worked w/o too much effort and the control was an easy reach from in front of you but I can't say the same for the flight back which i think is an older plane."
Cons: "I was getting sick and had fever the day i was going to fly back home. I was contemplating moving my flight but wanted to know if I could do it without getting charged (say if I had a doctor's note from the hospital) or at least how much I would have to pay... I didn't get to ask at all because (1) it was hard for me to find the correct customer service to call and (2) when I reached it, I was asked to call again as services were busy. I ended up taking the flight sick because I didn't want to rack up extra charges. Also, I find the seats pressing on to my thighs if my legs are in a relaxed position (meaning not trying to keep my knees together as if I was in a job interview). I've had to put a blanket or pillow between me and the armrests so they wouldn't hurt. Some airplanes have thinner more streamlined armrests and those have made some of my other travels more comfortable."
