I am usually very quite and light on demands as i hardly hit call button on the seat to get any assistance, but during meal, I was asked about drink and I opted for Ginger ale. Crew said, she will get back to me and I did not hear from her for another 10 mins, then there was repeat serve of drinks and I was asked if i needed any thing and asked the same drink, but then I was asked to wait. After I had finished off my meal and ready to go to sleep, someone was bringing my drink out and I then respectfully say no to it as it was bit late after the meal and asked for water instead and did not like the look on the face of the crew member. I saw it happening with other passengers as well and was under the impression, the whole crew performance was pretty poor and SIA was not up to its high-standards as I always like to fly with them. I will look for different option next time"

My husband and daughter were in First Class. The service was below average to say the least - more training required from check in to on board - (in Sydney the staff on the ground went above and beyond) In Singapore it was very fake and contained no sincerity. The lounge itself was also ordinary compared to others, no Amenity kits or PJs in business class - even Virgin Australia has that! I was so excited to be travelling Singapore again given past experiences but now Im not sure I will want to fly them again."

I spend the extra few hundred dollars because of great reviews and a superior experience last year. I will not be spoken to in a condescending way. On the second leg of my travel from Singapore to LAX the flight attendant once again said that I will not be given socks? Why, thought? I'm traveling for over 30 hours. Have things changed? Second, I asked for a second ice-cream. She handed me the ice-cream then took it out my hand and told me she would have to come back to me. The galley that was suppose to have food didn't seem to have anything. Was I missing something. Be fail on many level."

Cons: "the ground staff of emirates was giving me a very hard time and almost i missed my flight in 1 minute left because of giving wrong information regarding departure section (blue color polo shirt staff) after immigration stamp exit they are standing there and you are in right place terminal but sending u in other wrong floor to get shuttle bus to go in terminal 2 and the other ground staff (emirates staff) even telling same but once I reach terminal 2 they send me back in terminal 3 again. the worse part is the shuttle bus OMG very slow like a turtle to send u back in terminal 3 again. I wish it never happen to anyone as well. running until the last minutes even I came early its like nothing, very bad experience. (the bad things is I suppose to have flight morning but because I came late 1hr and departure stop from it. I cannot have the flight so I rebook the morning flight to afternoon flight like a bought a new flight roundtrip just to catch up for my day but. so imagine if I missed my afternoon flight too because of wrong information given by ground crew staff , who will pay for my flight? its me again and bad thing I need to wait until next day to catch up another flight incase:("

Cons: "I fly quite frequently, I always check in online, only with cabin baggage, and I arrive to the airport around an hour ago because I have an e-gate that allows me to pass trough immigration in a minute. This time, when I reach the first passport check, they told me that they had to double check if I could get in, because the time it was slightly below one hour and I probably want going to have time to reach my flight on time. They called a member of Emirates ground staff, to talk with his supervisor, that apparently was missing without notice. I explained him that because my e-gate pass, I could reach the gate in less than 15 minutes, but he keep me there while they were trying to find the supervisor. After 15 minutes, the supervisor finally called back, and approved my entry. I reach the gate in exactly 10 minutes while people still were boarding. I had plenty of time and I almost lost my flight because their lack of organization. I understand the procedure but you should keep a supervisor present."

The crew also stated I couldn't switch to an aisle seat because " we are completely booked" although all 3 rows in front of me had empty aisle seats all the way from Cairo to Frankfurt so I was stuck in a middle seat which the person in front completely reclining their seat for 4 hrs. At 5'10" it was not only uncomfortable but a painful flight. Things improved somewhat from Frankfurt to Miami but was still pretty tight due to the reclining seats. Luckily I got an aisle seat on that leg and the middle seat next to me was open. There was no entertainment on the Cairo to Frankfurt leg."

Cons: "did not have a 2nd meal option for the main meal since we were sitting 5 or so rows from the end of the plane. Delay in boarding the plane, but this was balanced by an earlier than expected arrival to JFK. Too many in-flight overhead announcements interrupting entertainment screen viewing. One bathroom was not able to be locked (in economy class)."
Pros: "Food was very good, super nice crew. Good selection of movies. Boarding was great, we are seniors, we didn't ask for assistance beforehand, but the person at the gate called us over and had us board early. Much appreciated!"
Cons: "Seats were just too cramped. We chose seats and paid extra to do that, but the seating charts really didn't give a very good idea of what to expect or how to choose. Announcements were to difficult to understand. Also in the gate area, I couldn't understand names at all. Need to slow down and speak more clearly."

I will never fly with Lufthansa internationally again.not because of the crew, because their head office insists on squeezing every inch out of their planes without regard for passenger comfort."

I had to wonder if the walk across the tarmac between the 2 airplanes would have been shorter than the walk in the airport?"

I know this, in hindsight, is a silly problem, but when flying it's important to have options, especially for an 11-hour flight. The crew handled it fantastically, by the way."

The toileterries provided are not high in desirability quotient and can be improved in at least one leg of the international flights."

I'm a senior citizen trying to stretch funds to travel -- paying extra for an early seat assignment is not in my budget. Logging in 24 hours ahead to get a seat was incredibly inconvenient--I happened to be in a museum and without WiFi. (It could have been in the middle of the night or on a connecting plane.) I then had trouble entering all the required data and was finally told I had to wait 24 hours to try again-- that made no sense because I had to be on my flight 24 hours later. As a senior citizen who struggles with using the internet, it is particularly difficult. PLEASE let people choose a seat when making a reservation WITHOUT charging extra. 3. I was shocked that I couldn't get a glass of water without paying for it!!!!"

Pros: "Boarding was quick and efficient and the crew was friendly and very helpful. The one flight was on time, but the other can be excused because of a technical fault on the plain. Safety is priority #1 so although a 3 hour delay was not nice, i'd rather be safe than sorry!"
Cons: "The food was absolutely appalling on both flights... We received a cheese snack. It was an old sesame seed bun ,with a very thin, small slice of cheese which you could hardly taste on it. With that they placed cucumber, that does not add to the taste of the dish, but only makes the bread soggy. There is also a piece of lettuce on that is past its crunchy freshness it is supposed to have. The last ingredient is sun-dried tomato that was the only ray of light for a poor effort of a snack by BA. I can truly say that during the past year BA's in flight food service on local flights, are on a downward spiral and almost in the dumps."

Pros: "The sound levels were way low resulting in much lower stress on this aircraft. The beast flew extremely well and was amazingly huge. The BA food was the best I had ever had on an airplane, (in economy) and generous, fresh and varied. The flight crew was very professional and the landings and take-offs were for my wife who is very sensitive to such events, very nice. Fantastic assortment of entertainment."
Cons: "There was not enough water available, and I made the mistake of not buying in the terminal. There is no public area to move around in, which I kind of thought there would be for such a huge airplane. The seats and room were even less than other airplanes (in "World Traveler"--economy) which is a drag because I am a bit shy of 6'. The seat in front of me was about 10" from my face during the flight with mine reclined all the way (and the person in front of me) Pretty much impossible to sleep--ugh."

The gate (and terminal) changed last minute, and I had to run from my connecting flight to make it, then had to wait while the gate information finally displayed, 20 min before takeoff. Very unpleasant experience and highly disorganized, without so much as an apology."

Cons: "Due to weather conditions our second flight to Seville was cancelled. This flight was booked through British Airways but not at the same time so unfortunately the Seattle crew did not alert us of the cancellation although our passenger info was all the same, the BA system should have a way to do this. We then waited in line for 3 hours at Gatwick to get rerouted and get hotel accommodations and received terrible and insufficient care. The staff seem most concerned with taking breaks than then caring for the enormous line of tired travelers. We lost an entire day of vacation due to the BA system not recognizing our flights as one itinerary and the very slow service at the airport; there were options for that day but by the time we spoke with anyone it was too late."
