Pros: "I would have liked for them to refund my ticket even though I asked them to. They ignored my request and I didn't get to go on to the plane but I still paid for it."
Cons: "A refunded plane ticket or voucher would have been better."
Cons: "Waited 55 minutes for baggage claim in Auckland. No reason given. I expect better service from Air New Zealand even though I understand the baggage handler’s are different group"
Pros: "I had to cancel the flight because the have customer service very poor in air New Zealand vancouver BC agents the could not solve a simple problem in esta that happened to me similarly in Australia with the same problem of esta if they are not efficient they should be replaced there many good candidate for airlines in Vancouver BC"
Cons: "Improve customer services"
Pros: "Entertainment options. Communications from captain. Dimming of cabin lights."
Cons: "Delays on both ends, including a substantial delay waiting for an open gate. Food was poor. Flight attendants were occasionally impolite."
Pros: "Food was delicious and warm. Water was provided throughout the flight. Entertainment was excellent."
Cons: "There were large black box type items underneath certain seats which impacted personal item stowage and leg room."
Pros: "Flying Air NZ is a pleasure. You guys generally do a very good job. Even though the flight left late I was impressed with the Pilot announcement to allow connecting passengers to leave the plane first, and all others remain seated."
Cons: "The flight left late, making it stressful to catch my connecting flight in Auckland."
Pros: "This is an overnight red eye flight. There is not much to interact with crew or service. It is simply long with attempts to sleep."
Pros: "Bulk head seats were great."
Cons: "It would have been nice if it had not been almost 2 hours late!"
Cons: "Auckland to Chicago was fine. Chicago to Minnesota was horrible. The departure plane showed up late due to weather which is understandable. Once the plane showed up we waited for over 4 hours for a pilots to show up. Our flight could have bee managed much better, poor job by United!"
Pros: "Everyone was very nice, food was good, movie choice was great"
Cons: "Would have liked a more comfortable seat. Couldn’t sleep well"
Cons: "No vegetarian food option. Seat uncleaned. Last seat on plane separate from family with people constantly standing next to and bumping at toilets - little consideration fro Covid-19"
Pros: "Kind crew. Comfortable space for economy."
Cons: "The food was not even edible. The entertainment was minimal."
Pros: "It was our first time flying on Qantas. everything was above expectations."
Pros: "Crew was OK, slow to respond to requests"
Cons: "The whole check in process was a joke, had a line up of 15 people and one agent"
Pros: "The service was friendly and attentive, the food was good, the legroom was amazingly good for coach, and there were lots of good movies available. Really great all the way around."
Cons: "For such a long trans-oceanic flight, I am used to the cabin crew coming around with drinks on a regular basis to keep people hydrated. That didn't really happen on this flight; I had to get up twice and walk to where the crew were hanging out (in a closed-curtain area) and ask for water."
Cons: "food was poor seat was too cramped the seat in front of me was broken and kept reclining"
Cons: "Too dark to see to get into my carryon and then lost something out of it but couldn’t see it"
Pros: "The Qantas lounge in Singapore is very nice. Nothing special relative to some others like Cathay, but lots of showers and good food are the key for a stopover, and the Qantas Lounge has that. The meal options are better out of Singapore than coming in to Singapore, The "order ahead" breakfast concept, where you place your order for breakfast when you board has it pros and cons. The personal service is nice, but one needs to know almost 12 hours ahead of time what they feel like eating. Overall a positive, but for me, it's hard for me to anticipate my appetite. It was my first A380 flight (together with the Sydney - Singapore leg), and overall I was disappointed relative to the Dreamliner. Yet it stands out as a positive the way that Qantas has configured business class on the upper deck. It's quite peaceful."
Cons: "Mostly an issue with security, two separate very long lines. The lines are marked priority and economy, but those are not adhered to. The seats in business class are not very comfortable. I feel like I had more comfortable seats 15 years ago on BA, and the world has come a long way since then. The planned upgrades are sorely needed."
Pros: "Great service, comfortable seats, little to no turbulence, all around a great flight!"
Cons: "When seat in front of you is reclined it takes away a lot of your personal space and makes it impossible to get up to go to bathroom"
Pros: "freindly staff."
Cons: "First I wasn't told I'd be going domestic . Arrived at the airport 4:30 to catch the internation flight @7:20. Funny thing is I was the only person around. There was the changing of shifts for ground & cleaning etc. No ticket booths. Put passport in kiosk,it said basically no. Finally a ticket agent showed up. She tried my passport ,and nothing. Checked threw the computer & it said leaving out of domestic. Go down to the end of the hall, can check in there. It's Qantas alright, not open till 7:00. Start to panic a bit. Stopped someone and asked. They told me I was at the wrong terminal! Get to other, check in. Ask if I have to collect luggage and customs at LAX. No goes right threw. Wrong. Waited for cases at LAX. Have to collect & go threw customs. No cases, lost in Melbourne. Then I was ignored."
On time and well-priced... For a short flight, what more do you need?
The flight was delayed by more than four hours. We had to be at the airport 4 hours before the flight because of road closures for US Secretary of State. We arrived and got to our Sydney hotel after 1am.
Cons: "The attitude of the crew towards passengers with children. They made us wake up our sleeping child because she was on a blow up cushion that obstructed her leg space. Even though we explained it could be deflated in a single second and was not causing harm to anyone else they still made us move it. Also, they gave us a guilt trip for changing a peepee diaper in our seat (careful not to touch any seats) and wouldn't take the trash. As any parents knows, changing a diaper in an airline bathroom is one of the most unsanitary and awful things you can do with your young child due to the extreme lack of space. Airlines in general should make a "family bathroom" with more space for parents to change their kids."
Pros: "Crew were awesome."
Cons: "Free coffee as opposed to paying $4 for an ordinary coffee"
Cons: "I prepaid for my meal and it was brought to me soon after I boarded about 4pm. I wasn’t hungry as I already had lunch. It would have been better to bring it for me at dinner time, Sydney time as that’s what my body clock was on. The last service was too close to landing."
Cons: "They wouldnt let me board because they said I was 5 min late, yet I was 30 min before the flight. The internal Brisbane airport shuttle had a problem. They should have let me board because this was the airport’s fault. They charged me 75 extra dollars too. Very lame"
Pros: "We got to queenstown a little bit sooner"
Cons: "They have crazy expensive fees for luggage if over weight..I will not choose them again"
Pros: "New plane."
Cons: "Really small plane. They placed my 6’8 husband in a regular row, when there were 2 bulk head and 1 exit row seat available. The “meal” = 3 half sandwiches - mayo & tuna (smelled through the cellophane wrapper) and a bottle of water. No entertainment. LOST MY LUGGAGE! Yuck. Avoid Jet Star."
Cons: "My luggage didn't make it to Wellington, which was disappointing since they now want to charge to have it sent from Auckland."
Cons: "I have put past a lot of things that jetstar airlines have done in the past, including the 140$ that I had to pay to change and pay to rebook or pay to cancel and there were no given supports with credits, so I ended up abandoning the flight altogether losing the money. I flew jetstar from Sydney to Sunshine Coast with my backpack a personal bag and a tote bag. I had previously paid 20$ for checked luggage. Making my total for the flight 80$ no one asked to weigh my bags or questioned them. Making the 20$ extra just disappear? . They did make me throw out my beverage upon entered the aircraft that I just purchased, I would assume because it’s a ‘safety issue’ even though the airline does not give complimentary anything so I’m assuming it’s mostly competition of sales. In Gold Coast I checked my bags through security got to the gate and they had a trolly weighing bags. They asked me if I was traveling with someone else which I replied with a no. They then weighed my backpack saying it was 7kgs and I had to come with them to the front. So my backpack personal item and tote bag was too much all of a sudden. I offered to give up the tote bag which then turned the situation into that all of my bags were over weight and it was going to charge me 60$ for my 7kg backpack. I said 60$ was expensive and I paid 20$ last time for my checked bags on the way here that I hadn’t used and he said too bad. Meanwhile the majority of people boarding past me had had rolling luggage and an additional bag or a personal item and when I said something to the employee he told me I’m wrong and they were all weighed and it’s 60$ for my belongings to be checked and put under the plane? Because 60$ somehow made the weight of the flight more light? Horrible customer service. I didn’t get I’m sorry any compassion I got what are you paying with? I paid 60$ or miss my flight. 60$ could have given me one more flight. Also to mention the flight was not even completely full so what did that 60$ accomplish? Awful awful awful . So in the future I suppose I’m just going to donate 20$ regardless if I have checked luggage or not because paying for everything is the only consistent thing on jetstar. On the positive side they let me jump the line after I paid 60$ for my “overweight luggage” and I got to my assigned seat more quickly."
