Qantas and Emirates flights were awesome, the timing of dimming lights to encourage sleep was great and the food service and timings were perfect. bathrooms were clean and enough legroom in economy

Cons: "I was scheduled to leave Accra yesterday at 5:50pm. The flight was unexpectedly cancelled and the stranded passengers like myself were corralled to a nearby hotel. The flight has since been rescheduled several times today and settled to finally leave at midnight this evening. I missed my connection but it has also been rescheduled, but I doubt I will make it. Emirates has left me stranded. It's ridiculous how they failed to keep us accurately informed."

I have been on many flights, and this was perhaps the worst meal I've ever had. The coffee was bitter enough to make me gag (even after I added cream), and the chicken was flavorless. The boarding process was a mess. It was hectic and unorganized. The flight was delayed an hour, and the crew failed to provide an adequate rationale as to why. Speaking of the crew, they weren't helpful. At one point, I had asked to use the restroom, and I couldn't get in. Again the crew provided no rationale as to why. Then, a few HOURS later, a lady approached me and said I could go "very quickly". This was my first time flying with Emirates and I don't think I'll be flying with them again."

Pros: "After what happened on Wednesday August 3rd I expected there to be some craziness but not like this. I was checked in by an employee who just started that day. She tells me in a faint voice "sir you may not make this flight". After that she tells me to check back 1 hour before the flight leaves. So I do, another teller states you made the flight please go to security. I have 45 minutes before the flight is schedule to leave at 3pm. I rush with my wife from one part of DXB to the other. Somehow make it there, but then have to wait for over 2 hours because of a connecting flight being delayed, unbelievable. Then when we land and I try to claim my bag, the bags are lost. Not just mine quite a few passengers. I go to baggage claim and the teller is screaming at me and other passangers "shut up, I don't care about your bag". This is the most disrespectful moment of the trip, never have I experienced a customer service provider yell at me like this. This experience is a direct reflection of emirates lack of management in their hiring process, as well as their ability to train their staff in high stress environments. Will I fly emirates again probably not, paying a premium for below average service is not worth it. The cabin crew were very thoughtful and respectful and made the trip bareable, their ground crew is anot her story."

We had seats in row 52 BC - a bulkhead outside the mid galley ....it was an incredible experience to watch the crew start eating from containers, peeling apples and making salads from a plastic bag before the passengers were served. The flight attendants when not eating were taking selfies ...so much for the "emirates experience. The curtain was drawn once for about 15 minutes between our seats and tghe galley area. I was so amazed at the lack of professionalism and the amount of food consumed by the attendants I took photos of the constantly stuffing food in their moths and then trying to speak to passengers."

We sat on the tarmac for over one hour, in Sydney, putting us late into Dallas. Because of that I barely made my connecting flight, and my luggage did NOT make my connecting flight. Meaning I had to stay at La Guardia till 1:00am in the morning, to wait for my luggage that came on a later flight.

The inflight entertainment was also far less advanced. After having such an excellent flight to Australia I was highly disappointed by the flight home. Other than putting us in a free hotel for the night and paying for taxi fares there was no compensation which cost me a full day of work."

It is an embarrassing how the airline cares (or doesn't care) who travels with them, where the people are coming from so they can understand their needs. I don't think it would had make a difference to the airline if they would acknowledge connecting passengers and eventually try to make their experience a little easier. But asking for a glass of water and not getting any is an embarrassing experience for this airline. I will never fly with British if I can."
Pros: "The plane is a newer one than what they are flying across the Atlantic and the seats were decent for the length of the flight. The crew were very nice and gave us tap water to drink for free."
Cons: "They don't offer any free food or drink, not even water. The boarding process was slow and laborious as they were making people check their carryon bags as they were checking the boarding passes."
Cons: "no complimentary water and coffee and more."
Pros: "I generally fly business or first but not this flight I felt like we were treated like we were in first class the attendants was great. Really great. I became a believer in British on this flight!"
