Cons: "The departure gate lounge for connecting flight to Vancouver was terrible.... very overcrowded, making for an unpleasant wait and boarding experience."

Cons: "Boarding in both Sydney-Auckland & Auckland-Vancouver are disorganized. No clear indication of when & where to line up. No flight delay message to explain when boarding time was long overdue. In particular, for the Auckland - Vancouver flight, one ground staff was telling economy passengers (in rather rude express) they were in the wrong line except there was never announcement. Overall, disappointed."

Cons: "When checking in we asked about an exit row seat. The NZ official claimed the flight was full n nothing available. Once on the 2/3 full plane, 9 of the 12 exit row seats were empty. Bottom line was she was lazy and unprofessional in simply Lieing."

Cons: "My ticket did not say that it was a no luggage,no meal ticket & I printed off the E ticket & no where on the E ticket did it state no luggage.....I think that needs to be shown clearly when we book. I had to pay for 1 bag & it would have been $250 but ANZ did work with me &changed the ticket for $125 name-Marjorie Kalama"
Cons: "I was not given a chance to make a seat assignment on the Alaska legs between Seattle and LA and ended up being stuck in a middle seat going both ways. There,was no option during booking to make a,seat selection. This was also true for the LA to Auckland outbound leg. This is an area needing improvenent."

Pros: "Can't say enough about how good the experience was. It felt like business class, except the seat doesn't transform into a flat bad. Service, meals, amenities, washrooms, etc. were amazing. Also, the flight times AKL-YVR and YVR-AKL are so civilized! You leave each city around dinner time, you dine, you watch a movie, sleep as much as you want, have breakfast, and then it's time to land! Way better than other options that leave at odd times."

Pros: "We flew Air Canada’s Economy Plus from Vancouver to Sydney and Air New Zealand’s Economy Plus from Auckland back to Vancouver. NZ’s Economy Plus product is far and above AC’s. Everything from the welcome, to the meal, to the level of service is great. I really felt that NZ treated the Econ Plus cabin as distinct from Economy (including having 2 dedicated washrooms), whereas on AC it felt like we were merely Economy with better seats. I compare NZ and AC because we were so genuinely impressed with what we purchased. We would definitely book NZ Econ Plus again, and the January seat sale is a great time to do so!"

Pros: "Everybody was so helpful and friendly. The seating was quite pleasant although my boyfriend and I are used to staying next to each other. The entertainment was extensive keeping anybody busy for a long flight and the menu was broad enough and good quality. This is the way all flights should be!"

Pros: "For such a long flight the food is not good! The only snacks are a tiny tiny bag of corn chips or a cookie. The attendants were average. The comfort of coach was bad. Other airlines will give you great snacks, tooth brush, night mask, etc but not Air New Zealand they are almost like a budget airline. Not sure how they are rated the best airline."
Pros: "I upgraded seat for the return flight home. The service was excellent, food - high quality, and cabin personnel knowledgeable/friendly. Overall the inside of the plane was clean and pleasing to the eye.. US Airlines should take some lessons from Air New Zealand"
