Cons: "This is the second time I have flown the AirBus 380. If you can make sure that you fly this airplane. Even in coach, there is ample leg room and comfort. The flight crew was very attentive and prompt in their service to passengers."

Cons: "One carryon and no personal item - inconvenient and irritating! Security staff disposed of manicure scissors that met printed guidelines. Checked baggage was damaged, will avoid Emirates because of this. Staff, comfort, and food were very good, but will still select other airlines"
Cons: "My original flight was delayed so I needed to book for a hotel in manila and need to rebook my connecting flight from christchurch to queenstown. Supposedly, the airline company should offer a reimbursement for all my additional expenses. Vey inconvenient on my part."
Cons: "Was not told that my luggage was on a weght system and not a piece system for a n international flight. I ended up paying $249 for my extra suitcase that weighted 25 lbs and it was only a 2.5 hour flighr!"

Pros: "The staff - every one of them - was pleasant, helpful & knowledgable. Great combination - makes for a terrific flight! The food was really delicious. All 2 desserts we had were in the category of Spectacular! Stickey toffee pudding was off-the-charts fantastic! Chocolate Mousse was terrific and the lemon pie (?) was awesome. I would love to know the baker or confectioner of your offerings so I could purchase from home! Nice touch . . . offering hot steeped tea poured & ready to drink."
Cons: "Boarding seems so disorganized and is doesn't need to be. There were no clear directions for boarding categories which would have helped n the States because we are so used to following a simple procedure. More than that is needed in Athens where the V formation usually rules when talking about lines. Once on board, we were not served anything until @ 90 minutes after takeoff. If people didi not come on board with a drink - that is a long period of time to wait!"

Cons: "I think Emirates should consider serving the cocktails/pre-meal drinks before the meal - after all, Gin and Tonic or Martinis just don't work during after meals. But this is minor gripe, the airline is great."

Cons: "There is no leg room, and the seats are so small that everyone ends up leaning on each other. Better pray that you neighbor doesn't show up. Ever tried to eat while in such close proximity to another human? Totally not recommended, yet it's a requirement on these flights. I was not able to eat at the same time as my neighbors. I let them eat first, then ate my food."

Cons: "Some of the flight attendants skipped over my row while offering beverages. One person was asleep but i was awake and thirsty. I had to wait until an attendant was unoccupied to get some water"

Cons: "Consistently late departures. Did not keep passengers informed about updated departure times. After serving the food, it took more than one hour to take the leftovers away. During the flight from Dubai -Chicago, hot beverages were served 1.5 hours after the food was served. Crew was not friendly at all. During the Chicago-Dubai flight a crew member basically yelled at passengers "open the windows" and I had to tell him to "ask nicely please). Emirates comes nowhere close to Singapore, Thai, or Turkish in terms of service."

Cons: "My check-in experience was concerning. I had an onward flight to Manila, but no onward flight from there. The airline policy had me not allowed to check in for my flight because of this. I narrowly avoided missing my flight by booking another flight just in time."

Cons: "No information re cancelled flight, board at Dubai indicated flight delayed with no time or boarding gate. Over 300 people at Emirates / Qantas customer service desk and 2 operators. Only found out that the flight may be cancelled from an email from kayak. Eventually got on a flight 6 and a half hours later. When leaving the board still said ek5101 delayed. I am sure if left up to Emirates / Qantas we would still be sitting at Dubai looking at the board."
