Cons: As an incoming traveller and a Platinum Qantas member, I was refused access to the Qantas Lounge on arrival in Townsville. All I wanted to do was spend fifteen minutes reviewing my diary and directions for the visits planned here. This is the Irish version of hospitality. God bless his departure.
Pros: I like the fact that qantas boards the passengers in the back and works their way forward! Ive seen airlines do the opposite and it takes forever and very inefficient. So good job qantas. Much appreciated.
Cons: Food could be better and cabin and bathroom cleaned more thoroughly.
Pros: More comfortable than expected.
Cons: Could not check in online or at the kiosk (the flight was part of an overall ticket bought on Air New Zealand). Only one checked bag per ticket, but we had an extra bag because of the international legs. An employee got us checked in, bags tagged, and convinced us to carry on one more bag.
Pros: Crew were helpful and very nice. However, as first experience flying internationally with Qantas wasn’t positive.. very proud to be Australian but their mechanical faults doesn’t help in customer loyalty.
Cons: Flight delayed due to mechanical faults for 4 hours. $15 meal voucher is not sufficient to cover the cost of proper meal. Airlines if allocating seats automatically should not put a female in between two males, not a very nice experience. No option to amend seat.
