Well, I didn’t like much. The staff didn’t have any beverages except for coffee and water and they never came by. The food just sucked. There was no entertainment at all.

Cons: "The aircraft was very cold and chilly."
Pros: "Three of us were sitting separately. Airline is able to accommodate us so that we get to sit together in a section where there is extra leg room."
Pros: "Fast boarding. Early arrival. Comfortable seat."
Cons: "I had to ask 3 times for an arrival card from the crew. Bread was dry. There should have been a breakfast served prior to landing, but no food service after 1 a.m. though flight arrived at 7:40 a.m. Timing of meals was not convenient for me at all. They wake you up at 1 a.m. for your main dinner. I would have preferred to sleep until 5 a.m. then have a good breakfast. The amenity kit in Business Class was substandard when compared to other airlines"

Cons: "We had to go through security after coming in from international and I went through a biometric scanner which I’ve done 100’s of Times I was very unnecessarily felt up for 10 minutes. I had shorts and a T-shirt on, and was pretty sure after the 1st round of groping that there was nothing there"

Cons: "Boarding was just ok, but departure delayed by half hour. Seats were really poor. Zero comfort.. felt like sitting on a cramped park bench. Entertainment system is ancient. Can't see and can't listen properly. Didn't expect this type of horrible aircraft from Singapore Airlines!"

Cons: "Ran out of options for dinner and could not eat the macaroni cheese they had on offer, so got 2 small packets of nuts instead...international flight running out of food options? Pretty slack. A part of the interior wall fell off onto my foot upon take off and I had to hold it in place for a while until a hostess came....doesn’t give you the best feeling when the plane starts breaking on take off. One of the male stewards was appalling towards a young mum I sat next too...too the extent of giving her dirty looks because she spilled a bit of water on the seat and then told her she had to pack everything away she was using, including the baby wipes! I stepped in and told him how this was not ok and all other staff members were helpful and he was making this Mum upset. He should not be working for such a people friendly reputable airline! Maybe Jetstar instead! Was appalled at the entire flight to be honest!"

Cons: "Positively ancient entertainment system with poor selection and bad visual quality. Ads pop up every time you go into another menu. If you're flying SIN->BNE I'd avoid the 7.20am departure, you'll get the old 777-200s rather than the A350s they run on other departures."
Pros: "I will only use Singapore Air for anywhere they fly. They really care about their passangers, 2 checked bags 1 carryon no charge, no airline does that. They constantly feed u & alcoholic beverages all at no extra charge. Flight attendants always have a smile on their flight. In flight entertainment was great, touch screen and remote controller. They supply earbuds, socks, toothbrush and paste."

Pros: "Can't think of. We have been using Singapore Air for years and they were good. However, our recent few flights with them have been disappointing (hence the need for this review) - there's nothing to be happy about."
Cons: "Writing on behalf of my wife. All staff that she met have sour face, perhaps to signal the passengers not to approach them? True enough, the cabin crew did not help her to place her bag in the luggage compartment; the cabin crew did not serve water when requested, and on second attempt, the cabin crew told her to request at the ground. The cabin crews she has encountered clearly expressed their unwillingness to serve with their face and action. Is this the new direction of Singaore Air? The entertainment system requires installation of an app, hence is practically useless since we do not have the app preinstalled in our device."
Pros: "Delayed flight from Shanghai due to air traffic issues, so I had a 10 minute window to make my connection in Singapore. Ground staff was waiting for me with a small car after I disembarked to drive me to the gate. And I somehow made my connection. Excellent service. Obviously my checked bag didn't make it, but I was told in advance and was kept updated before boarding and immediate after I disembarked at my final destination. When I went to the baggage service counter, they were already ready for me, had filled out my paperwork, and just needed an address to confirm the delivery of my suitcase. I'm super impressed to this attention to detail."

Most unreasonable, cheating me of my payment. I have since sought legal advice and contacted travel agent regarding, seems case law from several instances in my support. I had to pay thousands for new flight Austrian Air. Swiss thieved my money and I dont mind saying so. Unfair and unfair conduct. I am saving this letter for twitter to tell my friends of my disgust. I will be happy if this is sorted refunded immediately. A copy of these details and medical letter already provided to Jithendra from flight network (online travel agent)."

Broken entertainment screen, would not stay upright, due to several hundred thousand past passengers bashing into it after having first trodden on the unfortunate passengers feet! Crew unresponsive with drink and food requests, I had to ask for services multiple times on several occasions. Pressing my 'attendant button' my light was lit for 10 minutes before a crew member noticed. My first trip on Singapore, my expectations were not met. Shame"

Granted, I understand nothing can really be done about that but, the captains made little to no effort to inform us when we would be hitting turbulence. All he said was “Crew, take your seats.” People just had to assume we were about to hit turbulence. And gosh was it horrible turbulence. 13 and 1/2 hours and at least 7 incidences of really hard turbulence. I got no sleep at all, cause I was much to afraid to even close my eyes. I wish the capitains could have said something to calm us down. It was frightening."

Cons: "They ran out of food options and i was served meat i could not eat for every meal, thus i ate only rice for over 24 hours. We then sat on the tarmac for over 4 hours with only 1 update,. After an over 18 hour flight. the last that could have been done was to update the passengers so we had an idea of how long we would be sitting there. it is understandable that weather may cause delays, however, it is inexcusable that we were told it would be a 2 hour delay, and were not updated until approaching 3 hours, and additionally, after that, we were told we would be approaching the gate at 10 and were not updated for another hour. The crew should have kept us better informed with the updated delays. They didn't pass out a single snack the entire 4 hour delay, and gave us one cup of water each, terrible experience"

I have been on other flights with China Airlines where the seating was comfortable and roomy but this flight wasn't. The entertainment screen was not very user friendly. The screen was small and not very clear to watch."

From friction burns on the knees from the seat directly in front of you, to virtually hosting your front neighbor's head in your lap when they recline. And I'm all of 5'8"! Even though easily +90% of the passengers were Americans, Australians, New Zealanders and Europeans, and that the flight was between 2 English speaking countries, we were addressed in Mandarin Chinese. Reminds me a bit of Air Canada with their often French bias."

Pros: "Flight onboard: Nice interior on 777, food was mediocre, but overall pleasant experience. Flight before takeoff: due to 3 hour delay flying out of Pudong, they passed out water and sandwiches. Then we waited almost another hour before we could taxi to the runway. I blame this on Pudong airport. One of the worst airports for delays."

I didn't like how the meals and lights being dimmed seemed to correspond to (and keep us on) the time zone of the place we were leaving instead of adjusting us to the time zone of the place we were going."

Turbulence is more pronounced. My head was shaking"
