It was a really stressful experience running between terminals with my luggage, as there was less than a 1 hour window after getting through customs and immigration, so the bag drop at international wouldn’t accept them. Got to departure gate 12 minutes before plane departure. You need more time to have a good experience !"

We phoned the booing site, we phoned Virgin, we were put on hold for 25 mins while the booking site phoned Virgin - but Virgin refused to help us out! My husband was not able to board the flight - no refund, no help - and the sad part was, it wasn't for a holiday - it was to visit and help his 87yr old father-in-law who had fallen and cracked his spine. No sympathy from Virgin, VERY DISAPPOINTED!"

When i did check 4 hours later, they told me to check in 2-3 days. When i checked in 2-3 days they asked if I filed a report. Which I wanted to on the same day but was told not needed. check-in at sydney was a bit disorganized. one well-dressed woman appeared to be in charge, staring at others who were not ready and checking in passengers. one person at business class check-in, was sarcastic and only mentioned the gate assignment, no bother to mention the lounge access etc... the crew on board was stellar. so polite, helpful and respectful. the meals were great, endless beverages, and the a350 is spectacular with the seat/bed, amenity kit, television, bedding, headphones. first time flying fiji airways- honolulu- fiji-sydney, and sydney-fiji-los angeles, all in business class. their fares are much more affordable than other carriers. hopefully, one day, they will use a widebody aircraft from honolulu- fiji, since it is a nearly 7-hour flight and the 737-max 8, although comfortable, would be better with a widebody plane.
The canceled the flight without notifying me in any way. Even the day before the flight I got an email notifying me of the still old (and no longer accurate) flight itinerary. When I arrived in Auckland to find out I no longer had a flight out of there, I felt stranded. I was told normally they would offer standby for the next flight (which would’ve been fine!) but they didn’t have any to Dunedin that day. I had to buy another $325 flight though another airline day of that they did not cover. Would not recommend. .
Excellent service all staff where very friendly patient and efficient solved a boarding problem for me due to me not being able to access the visa portal for the USA.
I never went and I’ve tried calling to cancel the flight see if I can postpone for another date but every time they’ll transfer me to another personal.

When I checkin from Sydney to los angles, the Fiji manager said you have to pay for stroller. I said I came all the way from Los Angeles to Sydney like that and I even showed the tags too, Christopher said Sydney has different policy. I left the stroller to him and Saud to him keep it for your kids and came back home without baby stroller."

Pros: "Nothing. I felt they were racist. Not only were we not able to board the plane early with our Baby based on Veronica denying our request request I notice the female crew would acknowledge the other Babies and never noticed our African American Baby."

Pros: "Boarded on time. Good flight. The curry chicken was spicy, but good. Concerns on weight totals for luggage for checked (50 lbs) and carry-on bag (15 lbs). Never weighed either bag. Was prepared though just in case they did weigh, as we’d read about $150 overweight surcharge."

Cons: "Connecting in LAX with waiting 20 minutes at the remote gate for the bus, the bus ride and waiting for luggage to clear customs is virtually impossible to go though and make the connection. Having literary run out of customs and being told you missed your boarding time and now you are on stand by is not happy making. American points to a Fiji airlines, Fiji airlines at American as the carrier."

Cons: "1. Checked in was very slow. When we got done, we have to run to the gate cuz they are already boarding. 2. Seats were very small, too tight even for people with short legs. 3. Not much movies to choose from, it was an 11 hour flight, at least give us more movies to choose from. 4. Just saw crew once, when they were passing out meals and collecting them."

Cons: "Delayed flight, which I understand happens. However they stayed the new flight time was 6:05pm. We didn't take off until at least another hour after that. Minimum entertainment options - approx 30 movies all together and most were older. Food was not good. Small seats with very little leg too"

Cons: "The flight was unusually warm. Other passengers asked the A/C be turned up but I didn't notice much difference after. The food selection was poor compared to the usual offerings I've seen with Fiji Airways. Dinner's side dishes were a hard roll, chocolate coconut dessert thing, and slice of cake. I was hoping for fruit and/or a salad. Food service was a little slow."
