Got to departure gate 12 minutes before plane departure. You need more time to have a good experience !"

We phoned the booing site, we phoned Virgin, we were put on hold for 25 mins while the booking site phoned Virgin - but Virgin refused to help us out! My husband was not able to board the flight - no refund, no help - and the sad part was, it wasn't for a holiday - it was to visit and help his 87yr old father-in-law who had fallen and cracked his spine. No sympathy from Virgin, VERY DISAPPOINTED!"

No problems upon arriving at Incheon and transferring to Manila. The plane was on time. However you cannot check flight status on the app for updates. Good could have been more palatable. Crew were amazingly.

Pros: "I had a very good experience. When you fly with Jetstar, you need to be aware of a few things: it is a no frills airline. Therefore, (1) you need to eat before you board, bring your own food, or pay for any food / drink on the flight, (2) you have virtually no luggage allowance. Make sure you call them and pay for your luggage BEFORE you go to the airport. The pre-pay prices are very reasonable, but they are dramatically more if you wait to add luggage until arrival at the airport. Overall, the personnel were very friendly, and it was a good flight...just make sure that you are aware of what I just mentioned."

I had to run more than one hour from counter to counter and it near the boarding time and until when I asked another agent, she said that I don’t need that information for my flight. Thanks God! I think She has poor training"

Cons: "Airline wanted to charge $145 for one 20 kilo check-in bag Wanted to also push me to a later flight Would not allow anything over 7 kilos carry on, and were weighing items at the gate. This put several thousand dollars of camera gear for me at risk to baggage handlers with no option to pay more for weight. The airline of course accepts no responsibility if you do have to check fragile gear due to their carry on restrictions. Seat space was hands down the smallest I've ever seen. Overheard at least three other passengers say the same Overall, experience couldn't be worse. Will not fly again."
Cons: "Booked flight, due to Visa issues, couldn't use flight. Attempted to resolve, would have cost more than original booking to do anything with it. Customer service was happy to tell me either no or it will cost a lot of money. So not recommended Jetstar."

Cons: "Flight attendant that yanked my boarding pass out of my hand. 2d flight attendant who twice "forgot" to tell me whether she had looked for or found my luggage lock which had gotten lost when 1st flight attendant yanked my boarding pass out of my hand."
Pros: "Just got socked with $465 checked baggage fee for 3 bags! Let the buyer beware. I will NEVER use Jetstar again & suggest you look elsewhere. Fyi there is no ZERO rating, so would have given that!"
Cons: "Butchered by prices that were offered on Kayak and then taken to the airline sites where the prices are different. Jetstar rips you up with baggage prices at the gate. Nowhere does Kayak state that you have to pay upfront for Jetstar baggage......"

Cons: "Jet star counter at Melbourne has the WORST customer service I've ever encountered. Literally 3 employees standing around chatting while I'm trying to find someone to help with my passport not reading. Then standing at another counter waiting to be helped while being completely ignored. I understand when you're busy (even though he didn't seem busy) but at least acknowledging my presence would've been lovely. Also- baggage fees for this airline should be criminal."

Everything else disappointing -- will not fly them again -- Air New Zealand or Quantas only; don't know about United Emirates; paid $100 for baggage greater than 7K on international travel -- only $50 for domestic travel -- beware!! Must get luggage allowance on line at least 4 hours in advance of departure. Seats are tighter than any U.S. carrier including Spirit and Frontier. Kayak should somehow warn passengers unfamiliar with Jetstar airlines policy!!!"

Cons: "I thoght i had free check inluggage, but was told that ihave to pay $160 each for my daughter and I. So I paid $320 for the two luggages which would normally cost $40. I just think its not right to jcharge six times as much,"
