Just a hiccup being added to the NZ Traveller Declaration a bit late.
Pros: "Swap my two reviews! This one is for the flight going to London when I had the Skycouch! That was fabulous."
Cons: "Nothing."
Cons: "Great that they served two warm meals without extra charge? But the meals were quite bland, with little imagination."
Pros: "Crew were helpful and pleasant and it was nice to get a drink of water, a cookie and the offer of a cup of tea or coffee"

In particular, for the Auckland - Vancouver flight, one ground staff was telling economy passengers (in rather rude express) they were in the wrong line except there was never announcement. Overall, disappointed."

Cons: "Business class Seats are uncomfortable, cushion is not that soft, sides are narrow and too tall, hard square arm rest on the right, drink tray is behind your shoulder, hard to fasten seat belt. Ride was very rough in both directions. Not worth the price paid."

I had to pay for 1 bag & it would have been $250 but ANZ did work with me &changed the ticket for $125 name-Marjorie Kalama"

Cons: "Staff not incredibly nice but OK. The thing that bothered me most is that if you book through KAYAK that sends you to Virgin Australia, you can’t book bag, nor buy a meal if you want. I didn’t want to meal but I did want a bag and it’s a big difference. If you do it online it’s 39 Australian dollars, but if you do it at the airport it’s AU$160. That’s just outrageous and the staff was not helpful at all"

Pros: "Although I'd like to see the seats upgraded to ones adjustable to lie flat seats without getting up and several steps, the crew on the Air New Zealand flights make the difference. What a PLEASANT experience. Great passenger service boarding to landing."
Cons: "Once made, the lie flat seats are extremely comfortable. However, it's a bit of a hassle to get the bed made. Also the seats don't offer as much privacy as seats on other carriers (AA, UA, LH etc). If they changed the seats, the airline can compete with any other, as the crews are superb."

Cons: "All the staff were in the lounge meaning paid users were turned away. Upgrade denied by staff working in lounge because all staff had been allocated the business class seats. Staff should be bumped for paying airpoints members."

Cons: "Disembarking down onto the tarmac, and being made to stand out there for about 5 minutes (supposedly for safety's sake) while another plane was being pushed out from the next gate, all the while breathing in the choking nauseating jet exhaust fumes while our own plane was idling."

Cons: "I booked this in October and chose 2 seats with one being an aisle seat. I was moved with my wife to the two middle seats in a row of four, like a second class citizen. There was no meatless options for food. Cabin temperature varied wildly requiring several clothing changes in a cramped seat I didn't select."
Pros: "I was on flight nz10 from Auckland to hawaii 3/28th. Loved the crew, they got us on board quickly and we would have taken off on time but had to wait for 2 people showing up late. Anyway, it was a redeye so people slept for most of it and I watched movies and drank wine. The airplane was clean and bathroom were as well. It was a full flight so a little cramped."

Cons: "I dislike the system where some people are served food and their neighbors are not and no one knows if or why they are being fed or not fed. Apparently, I was in some sort of category where I was fed and my seatmate was not and neither of us knew why. Also, the entertainment being pay-to-play is just stupid."
Was delayed over 2 hours leaving Sydney. One staff member was loudly telling a passenger that they shouldn't have stowed their bag where they has as it was her position for her bag. Not very professional. Better late than never though. Overheard a few passengers while waiting saying how their flights had been cancelled the day before and had to find their own accommodation in Sydney.
I've always preferred Qantas, and the service is still generally good, but someone has taken their eye off the food offering. Back from NZ it was noodles with a sauce in a cardboard box. No cheese and biscuits, no sweet. Air Tahiti/Air Cailin, etc.. give a decent meal while on International.

Refuse to fly on this airline any more until reasonable seat spacing is provided for price paid. Don't like standing up the whole flight because one cannot get into or out of seat."

The snacks kept coming and the meals were delicious! We’re were treated so nicely, I hope to always travel on Qantas to visit my grandkids. My last United flight wasn’t even close to being comparable. In fact, I dreaded the thought of the long flight but Qantas has changed my view and now I have NO reservations when contemplating future visits."
Cons: "My husband is a lacto ova vegetarian. If I checked that, then he wouldn’t have been able to pre-order the delicious vegetarian bechamel lasagne. He would’ve received a meal specifically designed for him. Best way to order next time in order to get the pre-ordered dinner/lunch and then the lacto ova for the breakfast?"
Pros: "Great choice of entertainment. Served good food often with nice menu selection. Seats a bit tight as with all airlines. Fruit was fabulous and fresh - there were none left when I requested mine, but the flight attendant said there may be some left from other servers. Within a few minutes, she did bring one which I was thankful as I didn’t care for the other selection."

We flew Premier Economy on the LA-SYD outgoing trip; the main difference for our SYD-LA return in Economy was the presence of a 3rd seat in our row occupied by a stranger, so bathroom breaks were a bit of a disturbance for all involved. Still you get what you pay for I guess!"

Pros: "Almost 17h is a LOOOONG flight, so it could have been awful... Thankfully it was not crowded, though, so I had a centre row to myself! Actually managed to get more than 4h of sleep. Loved the SkyCam, especially since we followed the full moon all the way."
Cons: "The flight boarded 30 mins after it said it would on the boarding pass, and then was delayed further by an ill passenger. We ended up leaving about 60-90 minutes late."
