I really appreciated the check in service at Heathrow airport - amazing they checked our luggage and gave our passes through to Chch NZ. Chairs were comfortable. Good leg room. While we appreciate the lounge, they could have offered a wider range of options (a few more vegan options).

Got to departure gate 12 minutes before plane departure. You need more time to have a good experience !"

No sympathy from Virgin, VERY DISAPPOINTED!"

We heard an announcement about bags needing to be checked and assumed ours would be gate checked if needed (as anywhere else in the world). The gate agent didn't arrive til 20 minutes before the flight and told us we DIDN'T have a boarding pass and needed to return to the ticket agent and check our bags. By the time we ran back to the ticket agent we were told it was too late to check our bags. We had to pay $100 more a piece to fly LATER through Christ Church. We were on our way to meet our kids for vacation and ended up losing a day and $200 additional dollars because we were given inaccurate information by the Air New Zealand info desk."

Then it left at 3:55am which is the worst time to leave because I couldn't sleep beforehand and felt awful the whole evening and during the flight and after. To top it off the airline wouldn't check my bag through to my final destination. I was very unhappy with how this occurred."

The gate agents were so very helpful and so compassionate, especially because my 4 month old baby was crying. They stepped up and helped me with my other kids as my husband was out looking for water to make a bottle for him. Awesome awesome service! The crew was very nice and helpful when we were all sleeping. Did not bother us once and they let us sleep. Unfortunately I did not try their food service but my husband said it was delicious. The only thing was that they only offered a couple of movies via some small screen at the ceiling of plane making it hard for my 5 yo daughter to watch anything ultimately relying on their tablets which dies early. Overall, from check in to touch down, it was a very pleasant flight! Oh! And the blankets were so soft!!"

But Fijian airways failed to do that. $400 fine is a horrible start of your vacation and we will never come back to visit Fiji. We will also advise all our friends not to visit Fiji on facebook."

The flight attendants were knowledgeable and informative. Our incoming flight was delayed due to snow and ice. Once we were aboard the flight from Denver to Detroit, the pilot informed us that we needed to go to de-icing prior to lift off. He led us to believe that it would only delay our trip by 10-15 minutes. We sat on tarmac for one hour prior to lift off. I definitely appreciate the safety process of de-icing but I wish the pilot had given a more realistic estimate of time of departure.

The rebooking process was discombobulating and we ended up arriving at our destination after the rerouting that was stressful and ensured that we lost a whole day of our vacation time. Our flight back the entertainment system in our seats did not function."

Cons: "The flight kept getting delayed bc of mechanical problems, and then eventually cancelled. They rebooked everyone on new flights, but it took an extra stop in Toronto before getting us to Montreal. Once it was rebooked for the morning, it took off a little late. Plus the pretzels they gave us were stale. This was the first of two flights I took this trip that had mechanical issues, so they obviously need to fix their planes better or get new ones, because two Air Canada flights in one day that have mechanical problems leaves me worried that the planes aren't in optimal condition. It took me over 24 hours to get from Tucson, AZ to Montreal, Canada when normal travel takes less than 8 hours including layovers."

Cons: "The plane sat on the runway in Denver for over an hour because they couldn't figure out their furling situation. Many people nearly missed connections because of this. The crew never let us get up to go to the bathroom on an international flight because of some small turbulence."
Pros: "Nothing! Unpleasant unhelpful crew at gate, no better onboard, absolutely moist cramped seating ever! Disorganized and late- boarding, departing, waited to disembark at arrival, 25 min before first bag off baggage......dreadful no one cares"
Cons: "Thank you for choosing Air Canada- smiles and goodbyes- where's all that Before you leave? They treat you like problem cattle to be dealt with, you're anonymous and valueless until you leave then they look at you and thank you?! Missing sincerity And service!"

Cons: "No apology for lateness, flight boarded late, took off 40 min late, arrived 35 minutes late but we sat at gate waiting for someone to open it ?!, then another 15 min before bags started to unload Ridiculous but indicative of airlines You are not their valued guest or even their customer, you are a problem that needs to be solved and are consequently met with preloaded annoyance and a readiness to dismiss, placate at the best of times but definitely not please, impress, sympathize or satisfy. There is no evidence that it's even in their lexicon- not a part of their recruitment or selection process or training, ever! They're main focus and only positivity is saved for themselves. There may be a long line of concerned and anxious travelers but their priority is getting coffees for the battle ahead! They break their focused indifference only for each other and enthusiastically leave their post to satisfy each other's needs and attention. This has got to change! Why do we put up with such awful service for which we are the paying customer? Why are we, their customers, not valued? This airline makes record profits, provides less, charges for everything and increasingly delivers bad service, sometimes offensively bad! It doesn't cost more to hire a customer centric pleasant person, or incorporate guest experience into training or at the very least be friendly and smile! What if an airline just did that?! They'd differentiate themselves and develop a positive customer centered culture. Don't we deserve that, at the very least?!"
Cons: "Crew wasn't helpful and attentive, boarding staff in Toronto were blatantly rude to me, I watched as my luggage got handled aggressively, the plane was dirty with old food crumbs and such, my flight to Windsor got cancelled and accomadations were not met sufficiently."
Pros: "Flight was on time. Personal entertainment is very good and crew was great."
Cons: "Boarding is always a bit chaotic with the carry on bags. I am tall, so economy seats are always uncomfortable."

Cons: "I rarely fly these partner airlines without experiencing major delays, and the delays are always announced after I have cleared security, forcing me to spend hours at the airport. The claims of "weather" are specious: they don't fly enough planes and they don't properly maintain the planes they do fly."

Cons: "The airport in Toronto where they crammed about 10 gates together in a small area with no air conditioning (it seemed). Also flight was delayed about an hour so had to wait in horrible conditions with no seats for a long time."

Cons: "Connecting from London through Toronto to Winnipeg couldn't be accomplished in a 2.25 hr layover. Long line for immigration and and enormous line to go through security again meant I missed my flight and the next one was full. It gave me 5 hours to think of all the reasons why I won't connect through Toronto again."

Cons: "i booked a flight through kayak going from denver to milan. i showed up at the airport in denver to fly out yeserday only to find out that i was going to frankfurt germany. i am now in munich germany and never made it to milan. i was one of many people i met on the flight that also booked with air canada thinking they were headed to milan. air canada kept trying to put the blame off to my booking company. i don't know who to be ticked off at. please advise."

Cons: "The flight attendants on this flight did NOT do their job. If they are there to ensure a safe environment for the people on board, they completely missed the boat. I was in row 45. Two families were on board with their 4 very young children. For the entire 8 hour flight, 3 of these children disrupted the entire section of the plane. They continuously played in the aisles, stood in the seats, kept their seat belts unbuckled, threw objects, and one blasted his iPad at maximum volume. When I asked one flight attendant to ask the family to get the child to lower the volume on his iPad (it was 4am; people were either using their ear buds, or had their screens turned off), they complied with the request for 30 minutes, then resumed at full throttle. I can honestly say, it was one of the worst flights I have ever experienced in 57 years."
