Pros: "comfort, food, flatbed, movie choice. a quality aircraft, that is why i choose Singapore. i fly to Europe every year, and have flown with many different carriers, so i speak from experience when I say I prefer to fly Singapore as they are number one."

The plane wasn't too full and so I scooted over to the isle seat next to mine but again the resolution on the screen was so bad I couldn't read the intro comments to the movie, etc. They desperately need to update the entertainment system on that plane."

Pros: "Before booking my flight on Singapore airlines, I took the time to read through some reviews and to be honest, the reviews left by previous passengers did not do the airlines any justice. I rarely, if at all, leave any reviews myself but my flights (from SFO - Singapore and vice versa) were AMAZING! I was sitting in economy and the level of attentiveness that we received, I could only imagine how great first class could be. if i could fly Singapore on all my trips overseas I would."

The screens remain on even when passengers go to sleep, making it very bright in the cabin. It would be good if staff could walk through and turn them off manually."

Cons: "Firstly the check in for boarding pass took forever since there was only one counter that charged for extra luggage. I had to line up 3 times to get a boarding pass and almost missed my flight even though I came 2 hrs earlier. Secondly emirates does not give you Hotel even if your layover is for 14 hrs. Since my airline for final destination is another airline they said I don't qualify for it. It's a nightmare. I have travelled all other airline but by far emirates is the worst airline I travel. Terrible experience and I will never fly Emirates."

Cons: "Dinner featured a salad of potatoes and green beans and the entree included potatoes and green beans, a repetition that seemed odd. According to the printed menu, the passengers had a choice of lamb or chicken, but I only heard the flight attendant offering chicken - no mention of lamb. The food was much better on the Rome to Dubai leg of our trip, as was the service."
Pros: "The staff who checked me in at chennai were rude and unhelpful. They spoke in an unacceptable manner - when asking why about my baggage weight. Discriminating against musicians - rude to women. Very poor experience. I did not even get a receipt for my extra baggage for which I paid 50 usd."

Pros: "The economy was just as well served as Business Class. There were 22 different countries represented in the crew on the flight. We were served a hot meal and a cocktail. Also, had more leg room than normal. Very efficient boarding system, as well."

I wasn't given enough attention, i had to chase the crew a few times, it was a 14 hour flight with nothing working, miserable experience. I was offered a window seat, which i hate, without considering to give me an upgrade. I was given 5,000 Qantas points, i don't know if they can be moved to my AVIOS."

Buttons didn't work no matter how much you touched them. There was a delay and the selection of movies and tv were pathetic. I will not be flying Qantas again."

Pros: "This was AA flying for Quantas and it was all very nice; the taste of the food left something to be desired, but it was all decent portions and we were fed three times. The staff was terribly accommodating and friendly. The entertainment was top notch! The flight was smooth and was as comfortable as a 12 hour flight can be. After the hellish experience I had at both O'hare and LAX, it was a lovely way to end/begin the trip."

Cons: "If you are going to travel with a little one, have the common decency to help your poor wife take care of them as well. You had three seats, the entire middle aisle, yet you decided to take the open seat next to me so they could lay down together. That was nice, I get it, sure. But if your baby is going to cry for hours (and hours, it was a 10.5 hour flight, that poor kid must have been exhausted), pause the movie for a minute, and maybe try to help. I don't mind being inconvenienced for the little ones, I'm a dad of 4 myself, I've traveled a lot and know how it goes. But jesus christ, she's your wife, that's your child, try taking care of them."
Cons: "Flight was delayed 4 hours. Passengers were given "meal" vouchers for terminal restaurants but they weren't valid on alcohol (which was needed after 4 hours of waiting!) Boarding was chaotic with everyone anxious to GO! Crew was cranky."

Head phone jack is inside the seat arm rest which made it awkward when adjusting. No standard head phone jack but a converter is provided."

Cons: "Five hour delay due to faulty maintenance at LAX. Pilot (rightly) refused to fly until maintenance work correctly completed. Plane then diverted to Brisbane to change crew, en route to Melbourne."
