Premium economy seats and food we're very nice although the price could be more affordable so we can do it more often.
Not up to their standard . After checking in my bag and having made a tight connection off NZ 29, they tried to bump me off the flight at the gate. In they end I argued myself onto the plane but my bag followed on a later plane. After over 24 hours of flying and despite being an Air NZ Platinum card holder being put in this position was unnaceptable
mechanical issue, so delayed take-off (hence the low boarding rating) and made a number of people miss their connecting flight. Also took a long time to get our checked baggage. I luckily made mine with 5 minutes to spare, but it was nerve-racking.
More comfortable seats. Even after an hour of travel, they are very hard to sit on. Enforce the amount of stuff that travellers can carry on. Some have up to three bags and take over other passengers' overhead locker space.
Crew members are so courteous and easy to talk to. My flight ticket was expensive from Chicago to Rotorua at $2800 usd. Everything else is very nice!

Needed more leg room. Leg rest and entertainment system box took up a lot of space and I'm not tall. Breakfast was good. Poor quality of the entertainment options.

Overall experience was poor. In general crew was polite in speaking but that was all about it. I am vegetarian so I always carry a cup noodle box with me just in case. So I pressed "CALL" button for hot water for my cup noodle on my seat and waited for 10-15 minutes but nobody came. I personally took the box and went all the way to back of the plane. When I requested stewardess to put hot water in my cup noodle she refused as it was a "safety" hazard. I told her that you always serve coffee and tea these are also hot. But she still refused. I went back to my seat and from the seat I ordered hot water and it was brought to me without any problem. I poured THAT hot water in my cup noodle and ate. I was sitting in seat 36A, which was 2nd row in economy class. After eating my noodle I took the box and went 2 rows in the front where there was a kitchen to throw it. Again the stewardess there told me she didn't have a waste bin there and asked me to go back of the plane and throw it there. Tell me if above experiences are 'ok' for your airline??
Simplicity of boarding and corporate interactions were all totally positive and simple, brief, organized and clear. No regrets at all. I will favor flights with Cathay Pacific in the future.
In between two meals period they're not providing something like banana / cup noodles or bugger. It's really fell sad that I was asking have to wait for 3 hours for second meal. (breakfast)
Everything was expected, nothing stands out. The silly practice of only enabling the inflight Wi-Fi after half an hours after take off and switching off within half an hour of landing is puzzling. Why?? It's like there is no technical common sense within Cathay.
No PA announcement was made about the start of boarding
Big selection and great food and beverages in business class with good service. Full recline but less privacy compared with Qatar.

This review is based on other Asian airlines I used in the past year. Food going to Malaysia was bland and unappealing. Food coming from Malaysia back to the US was much, much better - tastier. Economy seats were not as spacious as the Airbus planes. Coming back from HKG, we were on a new Boeing plane and seats were very narrow, hard and extremely uncomfortable despite the fact we sat in the exit row. No offers for water in between meals though available in the galley. No garbage pickup. Movies were limited. All in all, flying Cathay seemed like flying a budget airline. Crew was pleasant and accommodating.
Really impressed with the Airline and much with the Crew. The crew was amazingggg, changed seats very easily, provided a lot of snacks on demand, the plane is nice and clean, the menu is well presented; unfortunately, the food is not fantastic, but it's not bad either but nothing to rave about. I am still rating it as excellent because I loved everything else; food improvement will be great!
My flight was delayed by 8 hours I arrived at airport 4hrs earlier but to see if they can reroute me to get my connecting flt to Hong Kong. They auto rebooked my flt. With no chance. Which I missed this entire reservation through kayak. My next flt they got me on was at 6 am. Misses an entire day of my trip abroad all my accommodations seat assignments were missed and missed adding my TSA precheck to my ticket as well as my vegan meal request so I didnt have meals on any of the flight....so not a comfortable experience. Please help me with accommodations upon my return.
I was very upset with Underpricer, Cathay Pacific and Kayak! After spending numerous hours on phone and texting on WhatsApp to get seating secured for myself and my Sister only to find out hours before my flight that our seats had been canceled and we wound up in the last row in back of the plane adjacent to toilet! Airline claims travel agent canceled out seats!?!? Out tickets were purchased in April.
I want a refund. I had to switch flights and buy another airline ticket because this one was delayed.
We had a medical emergency, needing to get to an emergency room upon landing at LAX. I let the back flight attendants know the situation. One, David, contacted the pilot, who made arrangements for EMT's to be there when we got off the plane. They went above and beyond for us. We didn't have to go through customs, as a customs person came to us and checked us right at the exit of the jet way. Another wonderful woman, a United employee at LAX, perhaps a customer service liaison, took care of our luggage situation, as we weren't going to make our connection to Bozeman. When we came back to LAX to see when we could get a flight to Bozeman, the personnel are very accommodating and booked us on the next flight out, and assigned good seats. It was a horrible flight, physically, from Sydney to LAX, , but the professionalism of all involved was excellent! We are very grateful fir the way they all stepped in and helped during a very unpleasant medical situation. Thank you!!
Very good overall. However, your choices of free movies was limited and there was no music Channel???
We booked with Qantas instead of Delta and we instead flew on American Airlines. American is not our favorite to go on. No leg room and the width of seats are a joke. Your are packed like sardines on American flights.
After already paying for excess luggage prior to flight, i was advised AT check in that i had to pay $816 or forfeit my flight! The lady at the counter was SO rude and had already started offboarding me when i said i would pay it after asking her three times for the exact amount! Have lodged a formal complaint yet heard nothing. Will not ever travel via Qantas again
they ran out of fruit for breakfast and so I just had a yogurt instead. other than that the flight was good
Traditional economy class. Not a full flight so spare seats. Food and drinks were good
I liked the service, the menu, and the comfort of the seats! Even tho we were seated by the bathrooms, the reclining seats and movie selection was very good, my husband and I didn’t mind at all
Everything was great from the staff to the seats and food. The plane was timely taking off and landing.. I couldn't have asked for a better experience (especially on such a long flight)
The food was really tasty, crew were attentive and approachable
