I was very impressed with this airline. The flight was comfortable the plane was clean and the attendants were very nice. The zipper on my suitcase broke after I checked it. The airline wrapped it in plastic wrap, so it wouldn’t continue to fall apart. Every item I had in the suitcase was there when I got to Los Angeles. That is above and beyond!

Also, due to my partner having to swap seats, I was sat on my own next to strangers. Someone met me at the end of my second flight to tell me I missed my connecting flight. With the adjusted flight Singapore gave me, there was no chance I would have made it. They did purchase a ticket for me on another airline to get to San Francisco in the end."

I called customer service and they answered my question quickly. I just wanted to know if I would be charged a fee to change my flight."

Otherwise people don't trailer until they have been in the wrong line until the reach the top of the line . Leads to frustration even before the flight begins! Otherwise great job everyone ! This made the cabin very bright and a difficult environment in which to sleep. Too much advertising before the on board videos, but otherwise content was good."

There was one to two person doing the checked in and it took about 40 minutes to get done, unacceptable. The lines for non on line check in went faster then the on-line and they have four times more people that was in the on-line checked in. In flight, the seat felt liked you're sitting on a rock after a couple of hours. I'm an aircraft mechanic who used to be a flyer with 7,000 flying hours."

Cons: "Can't pick seats online for international flights, so we're stuck with whatever is leftover. Planes not particularly clean; lots of crevices with years of debris."
Pros: "The staff was very friendly. All movies were free. The staff was always so courteous. There was also adequate overhead storage."

Cons: "Traveling partner did not have a seat assigned at check in, and even though we got to the gate an hour before boarding and asked to be able to sit together, either they forgot or were unable to make it happen. Seats assigned at checkin seem standard now, so not having one is unsettling."
Cons: "Paid $600 for the better seats and they refused to give a full can of soda. Didn't get much of a window seat, the window was closer to the person in front of us. There was some guy on the plane in the same section as me and my husband and they gave him full cans so I guess it's who you know. I couldn't even eat the food, it made me nauseous. They arrived 30 minutes late and we almost missed our next flight. They didnt even ask for those with connecting flights to be let off first. Checked luggage handle was torn off by staff. Not worth the extra cost or going out of my way to book with Hawaiian. I won't go with them again."

For the first meal she simply ate around the chicken as no mention was made of a veg option, and the flight crew was so brusque and in a hurry it wasn’t possible to flag them down and inquire."

Cons: "I can't tell you how disappointed I was to learn upon arrival in New Zealand, with no forewarning or preparation, that I was to be BUG SPRAYED before being allowed to leave the airplane. I have asthma. Being sprayed with chemicals is a serious health concern for anyone, but especially for those of us with asthma. They sprayed a cloud of chemicals directly over our heads and we sat helpless as the spray settled onto our clothes and skin and into our mouth and lungs. I had a asthma attack, and when I told the stewardess she looked at me and said "It won't be much longer." It was another 15 minutes. I was so unwell that I asked my husband if he would be able to carry me if I passed out. I also unfortunately forgot my ebook reader in the seat due to my attack. When I wrote customer service I received only "We will forward your message" and no response beyond that regarding the return of my device. This entire experience has caused me great distress and I am sincerely hopeful that as a corporation you will take steps to ensure the welfare of your customers by ensuring they are aware of all treatments to expect when on board your aircraft. Had I known, I could have brought a mask and saved my serious asthma attack. I probably would not also be without my ebook reader."

So I finally touchdown home, yay... NOT. CAUSE I DONT HAVE MY LUGGAGE. THESE INCOMPETENT WORKERS OF YOURS DIDNT THINK TO MAKE SURE MY LUGGAGE FOLLOWED ME. Now alllllllll my summer clothing, souvenirs, bras/undies, etc. LOST. Thanks for the worlds worst travel experience."

Cons: "I bought my tickets at the beginning of September for a November 18 flight. When I checked in I was seated on the last row, next to the bathroom. When I asked why my seats were in such a poor spot I was told I needed to have purchased my tickets two months in advance to get better seating. When I told the agent I had she said there wasn't anything she could do."

I have a business meeting tomorrow morning and presently they can't even reconcile their own Baggage Receipt number! I expect more when travelling (and paying) for business class."

Food was not great but we we were not offered anything to drink not even water with the meal until we had finished eating. I know crew works hard but that seemed a time management problem. There is no service involved plonking down a tray. Water could be included."

Pros: "Seriously, in all my years of flying this was the best experience I've ever had - and that includes comparing my Economy ticket at Qantas to previous First Class flights with Delta and US Air. Very coordinated, very well setup and prepared. The stewards were wonderful. Food and service outstanding through the entire 13hr flight."

Turbulent air most of the way to JFK, no fault of Qantas. However pilot made no effort to avoid it or was not allowed to go to another flight level. In any event no communication from Capt. Food was mediocre at best. Cabin crew was getting beaten up by turbulence. They did the best they could. Arm rest USB power receptacle broke and headphone jack faulty (60C)."

Cons: "Plane departs at 1pm Sydney. Lights are turned off within a couple of hours, but for me, sleeping at 3pm is impossible. Point being? A later departure would be a help. Clearly not going to happen, but the timing of the flight to Sydney from DFW had been awesome."
