Pros: "The staff was accommodating and worked hard to make us more comfortable and be helpful when possible- there was a lot of turbulence so dinner was served late and there was a lot of time we couldn't move about but they made the best of it."
Cons: "The added benefits of the Air New Zealand long flight planes of the entertainment like mini games and the footrest into bed as well as my husband and I not being seated in between two people but being on one side or the other."

Pros: "United staff were ready in Panamá to handle the missed connections, with onward booking already handled and hotel vouchers ready for distribution upon deplaning."
Cons: "Late boarding and long wait on runway to be able to take off, thus ensuring connection in Panamá would be missed. Given that one runway was closed due to wind, this is something outside the control of United. Nevertheless, allowing a connecting flight with only 30 minutes between flights would seem to be overly risky, thus any delay upon departure will ensure a missed connection."
Pros: "After United lost our luggage in Houston we had to file a claim in Auckland which meant we missed our flight to Wellington. Ground crew were super helpful and got us on the next flight 30 mins later. Cabin crew were great and sorted us out with water and snacks before take off as could tell we were desperate after flying in from London via Houston."

Cons: "I was in business class and was terrible The airplane too old , so expensive for that? Can’t believe it..."
Cons: "My confirmation number did not work; originally my flight appeared to be through copa but then it was clear that it was part of the way on United and part of the way on copa; Was unable to check in for flight before getting to the airport; first flight was very delayed and connecting flight was not acknowledged in the delay - in other words, I was going to miss the connecting flight but was unable to get any information about re-booking; waited in the airport for 6 hours then boarded the plane and sat on the plane for 3 hours, then was told flight was delayed until the following day; eventually did take off 22 hours late; when I arrived in Quito finally my bag did not make it; they did not deliver my bag to my hotel as they said they would in the airport, instead I had to go an agency and pick it up. I missed a day and a half of seeing a dear friend I was coming here to visit and nothing can make up for that. Overall, terrible experience."

Cons: "I left New Jersey during snow storm. Flights had been cancelled on the previous days but our flight was not. It did not leave on time, had to switch planes before we actually took off. My luggage was lost. I did not make my connecting flight. Had sty over in Panama. Got to my destination a day late without my carry on ( checked at the gate...lost). Still have not located my other 2 bags. Very stressful expirence. Will not fly united again. Staff at my lay over was poorly trained at handling the situation and my luggage issue is taking a very long time to correct."

Cons: "Worst airline I’ve taken in a while .. you can tel they want is $$. From charging to change seats. To have VERY LITTLE leg room (and I’m 5’2”). Charging for entertainment and the seats are uncomfortable. Crew seemed embarrassed. The crew was fine and did their job."

Cons: "Because the flight to Houston sat on the tarmac for so long, no one was able to get food in the airport before boarding this flight. I was at the back of the plane and there was NO fresh food available once the flight attendants reached the last 6-10 rows. Unacceptable that there is not enough food options for all passengers. By the time I landed in Panama, I had not eaten for 13 hours."

Cons: "Polaris Biz servie was worse than old biz class service. Only six salmon dinners aboard! Cabin crew needed to asked for many standard items. After dinner service, they were invisible. Brkfst was rushed in last hour before touch down. This was a real disappointment after an excellent flight from LAX to MEL! We can fly AA for such service at a lower price!"

Cons: "Every time the crew came by with something (more food, duty free, custom forms) (which seemed very regularly) it was announced over the intercom so it made sleeping very difficult on the 11 hour red eye flight. Other airlines will just walk by and catch your eye if you are awake. Seats were quite small as well."
Pros: "The food the free alcoholic drinks it was a short flight from Panama city to Quito but they gave you all the free drinks you wanted and a nice meal in like an hr flight, stewardesses were great as well top customer service, live copa, no entertainment but that's OK on a short flight"
