$980 Find Cheap Flights from Auckland to Bucharest – Compare and Save

Plane was extremely delayed, but not all of it was BA fault (some was). Worst part was lack of room - this had as much space as an Allegiant flight. I thought transatlantic usually gave you an extra inch or two, but not this one. Entertainment system sporadically worked and didn’t have great options. Overhead bins are old and tiny, not as good as aunties new planes.

Not my definition of first class. No leg room and barely any recline. The food was good. The crew was great. The comfort for the price I paid for London to Cairo was highway robbery. The Wi-Fi didn't work for me either.

Much much better than my previous times on British Airways the food was spot-on and the service was really genuine and attentive

Last minute charge for 1 checked luggage before boarding which wasn’t mentioned when we bought the tickets months ago. It was an unexpected surprise. We had no choice but to pay to board. Most airlines allow your first luggage free.

Good flight. Not a lot of legroom, but it was fine for a short flight.

There was an unfortunate 1 hour long wait where we had to sit still on the plane. While travelling with a 10 months old that is challenging and when I stood up to comfort my baby rocking her to sleep (in order to also not disturb other passengers) one of the crew told me to sit down as we were taking off immediately. Another 15 minutes went on before we took off so definitely very uncomfortable situation and I would also say a lack of empathy from that respective lady. I do understand rules on the plane, I have been travelling for the last 15 years, but rules can be adjusted when there is knowledge of delay departure.

We were told that carry on luggage needed to be checked since the plane was full. We were not told that we could not get the carry on bag prior to boarding our connecting flight in London. So no access to medications, chargers for phones, comfort items for overseas flight.

British Airways website and app are horrible, they never work and we were told to go to the airport 3 hours prior to departure to check in and select seats even though we were at the airport. Another option was to pay additional $150. Customer Service over the phone to us per policy they can’t check you t either.

Seats were too close together. I'm 5'10" and I really had trouble relaxing with less then 1/2 inch of knee space. Plane was really late and after customs we barely had 15 minutes to catch our connecting flight left even though we allowed for 3 hour layover at this location.

Overall the the whole experience was very mediocre from check in to service on the plane. The food was not at the business class level. Looks like BA is at the bottom of the barrel compared to other carriers offering the same business class service. Will never fly business on BA.
