Pros:I can't say anything positive about dollar.Cons:I had to wait an hour and a half for a vehicle. The car they gave me wasn't as nice as what I booked. It smelled like incense and vape. I would not recommend booking with Dollar. Kayak was trying to pass me off to Budget to resolve the issue. Dollar was telling me to talk to Kayak. Cons:The agent at the desk kept trying to push me on the extra insurance that I didn’t need or want. When I got to my car, the sticker that sealed the drivers door was already broken and the car was not very clean. Since I had already been there over an hour I just took the car as is. When I got home, my husband found marijuana in the middle console. I called customer service to make them aware that the car wasn’t cleaned out from the previous renter and I was transferred around and put on hold for over an hour. I hung up and submitted and email complaint through the website and never heard anything back. When I returned the car, I told them again what had happened and the agent apologized. I was never offered anything more than that one apology after the fact. I will not rent from any of the Hertz companies again.Reviewed 14 Jul 2020
