Pros: The staff like most Mexican were extremely nice and helpful. Every part of the hotel that I saw was very clean. The room was spacious and the bathroom was well portioned. I especially like the feature that the room key activated the room lights and once removed would stay on for only 5 mins. Check in and check out was a breeze and it was practically a straight line to the airport. Easy location to get to and from. Muchos gracias!

Cons: They have 2 restaurants onsite but they share the same menu so it was pointless. Except that the sports bar had big screen TV and the restaurant was quieter. The Spa and pool area closes at 8pm which was inconvenient since we were taking tours and arrived back at the hotel at 7pm so couldn't use the pool at all. We had some trouble with the concierge. This place is on a main highway but away from most places. They have a taxi cab that waits outside the hotel and they don't look like honest cabbies but concierge almost bullied us to use that cab instead of hailing one on our own. Later we found out from Marriott concierge that we were charged double by the taxi cab. The hotel is attached to a hospital (literally attached) so it was weird since we were on vacation and happy mood but saw patients/families hanging around the area. Since we were taking tours, we had to leave at 7pm everyday, and couldn't find breakfast to go. The small refrigerator in the room did not work well.

Pros: the breakfast was really good. it was right next to a budget rent a car and we were able to rent a car with a discount for staying at the hotel. the staff was really nice and our room was cleaned every single day. they even set up a crib for our baby. big rooms comfortable beds and really close to everything we had a walmart walking distance, a plaza where there was a burger king and many restaurants open till late. in the corner of the street there was a convinience store OXXO open 24/7 and the bus stop to go to the hotel zone and beaches. great place great price super friendly people! i will be back. thank you florcita for the breakfast.

Cons: I didn't get a 'chance' to try the restaurant but was informed by other guests that it wasn't so well. Additionally, although an extremely small Hotel, there is no elevator. I had assistance checking into my room, but not checking out. Therefore, I had to carry my luggage down a flight of stairs.

Cons: I was not able to prove my reservations to the manager so we had to pay twice. The manager said that my phone showing the payment with reservation numbers meant nothing to him. The Police were called as I was loud and upset, then I was hand cuffed.

Cons: People were a bit rude when we started to have breakfast. They were cleaning up everything right after you have left your table for a minute. Furthermore, they asked you to sign a receipt when having breakfast, which is a bit weird, because usually hotels have a guest list where they can see if you have ordered breakfast and if you have paid for it already.

Cons: It wasn't clean. The bed linen was covered in stains and it smelled as if somebody had already slept in there. We had a dead bird on the balcony. Luckily, we were only staying a couple of hours until we had to go to the airport and didn't have to spend the night there. I've already been at this hotel a couple of times during the last years and it was usually fine but now I won't stay here again.

The door knob was loose and the lock did not seem too reliable. The bathroom door was swollen at the base due to moisture so kind of difficult to open and close. Some requisite maintenance would be strongly recommended.

Another bonus is that some tour operators pick you up at the Oasis Smart hotel that is just 2 minutes walk from the hotel, in the same street. Adjacent to the hotel there is a convenient store where you can cheaply buy some essentials (water, snacks, etc.) and also a taco restaurant, Los Tarascos. We stayed there my wise, our 6 month daughter, and I. We walked every day to take the bus or to the Las Americas mall and it was completely safe. There's a bank adjacent to the hotel were you can also get cash from the ATM safely. The service is very nice and the front desk agents were always helpful. Especially Gregory, if I'm not mistaken. the BREAKFAST is amazing. We really loved the fact that local dishes are included in the breakfast giving you an extra bite of the local cuisine and culture. Cons: The hotel offers free shuttle service to two partner hotels at the beach. They charge you 600 pesos for a day pass for these all in resorts but that’s not worth it. (Plus it’s a ridiculously bureaucratic procedure to get there and in) The beach was great, but the food was lousy and the service poor. Had the feeling they intentionally slow down the service to serve less. In any case, better option is to go to a public beach in my opinion

Cons: My girlfriend was sick. I called room service for breakfast. (Breakfast was not included and I was paying for it) They told me that they are busy and we must come downstairs. I went downstairs in the their restaurant. They told me that I can not take food to the room. My girlfriend must come downstairs to eat. I explained but they told me that this is their "hotel policy" and they can not do anything. I walked to a nearby restaurant and got the food. I travel all over the world on a regular basis and never heard such policy in a any hotel!

Cons: I paid for transportation to the airport but they said one of the drivers was sick and the one that was actually working was already busy (we arranged our transportation the day we got to the hotel) foreseeing this kind of situation, they finally said we had to get ourselves to the airport. Cons: I contacted the hotel to request an early check in and they told me there was not a problem with that, but when we arrived we had to wait a couple of hours until 3 pm to check in because we were told there was not an available room for us.

Cons: Staff didn’t speak English. Air conditioner was like a jet airplane. Security definitely a problem as exterior rear locks in hotel were broken and anyone could enter hotel from the street. What a joke. I have never left a hotel early but did with this one. Terrible hotel and not good for non Mexicans. Never again.

cool looking hotel. the hotel bar food is kinda crappy. The water didn't work for the first few hours after we checked in but I'm pretty sure they had it turned off to our floor to converse it or something. That's what it sounded like anyways. There's no blankets on the beds, only sheets. We stayed for $60 cad. You're in a good location for bars, everything's walking distance and you have a ton of choices. I'd stay here again. We didn't see any bugs (and I looked) and the bed was pretty comfy

Cons: Our flights were messed up with Thomas cook, we asked if they could accommodate us staying one night earlier. They said that was fine and we should converse at reception when we arrived. We arrived and the reception denied us moving the date. We had to pay twice. If we had known this before we would have cancelled. Terrible service, would not go back.

Cons: There were apparently bed bugs in my friends room. The bugs ate through their shirt at night. I had mold in my first room and it smelled like that all around the hotel. Hotel is out dated and if only they could keep up the maintenance then the hotel would have a lot of potential. The night staff had horrible service. Treated us like they didn't care what was going on. my first room was a suite. Horrible. The AC didn't even work. My second room, which was a regular room, was a lot better than the suite but it was a little scary to sleep. The AC in that room was on blast. Almost reminded me of a freezer. Better than the last room but I almost froze to death. All around this hotel was pretty bad. I guess you get what you pay for but definitely worth the money to stay somewhere else.
Oh yea! Did I mention that there were bats in the hotel?!? Yes I said bats. Smh!

Cons: The Stuff was quite friendly but very unorganized and uninformed. I stayed in the dorm and the beds were very fragile, the air was bad and the mattress was uncomfortable. The bathroom was hell dirty and the floor was totally wet. The breakfast was very very basic with toast, jam and coffee. I would not stay here again

Cons: Disgusting room and bathrooms. Walls are incredibly dirty. It looks like it wasn't painted for 10 years. The flors are sticky. Miror in shared bathroom are full of splits of last 50 guests as it probably wasn't cleaned at least a month. Shower is almost without a watter. We are on a tight budget but there is no way we would stay in this hostel for one more day.

Cons: No restaurant in the afternoon or evening in the hotel. No water bottles in the rooms or coffee. They need to work in better facilities for guests with special needs. The wheelchair couldn't enter in the bathrooms. The doors are stretch.

The pictures you see advertised are not what you get.
The toilet leaked from back so the floor was always soaked.
The girl behind the counter didnt speak English as advertised and had to go outside and have a taxi driver translate.
The only WIFI was in the lobby not in the room as advertised.
The closet door was broken, shelf was hanging off wall. a door leading to the next room was thin and people kept trying to open it all night.
I have pictures if you'd like to see them.
I left after the first night to an Airbnb and was literally half the price and was so much nicer.
I would like a refund!!

Cons: Despite it stating it has free wifi in the bedrooms, this is a lie. Wifi is only available in the lobby. When we asked why this was advertised falsely they simply shrugged their shoulders and didn't address it. We work from our laptops while travelling so a place advertising wifi in rooms falsely affects us. We had to stay downstairs in the lobby the majority of the evening instead of the comfort of our rooms. Had the property not have been so dishonest we wouldnt have booked here. Then to make matters worse a nightclub is attached to the property which opens its doors at 11.30pm and plays loud dance music till 5.30am making it near impossible to sleep. We were on the 5th floor and the bass from the speakers was shaking our windows all through the night. There are numerous of taxis outside the hotel that charge you double than any other taxi. We were qouted $80 pesos to be brought on a 5min journey to a shopping outlet. We turned it down and hailed a taxi passing by hotel, and was qouted $40 pesos. The drivers outside seem intent on ripping off the guests.

Cons: I got told I didn’t check in when I did, so possible could get charged again. I’d recommend paying on card or getting a receipt so this doesn’t happen to you.
