Pros: Stuff is super nice, location is perfect - in downtown close to shops and restaurants, close to the bus that goes to the beach (around 20 mins to get to the beach). Tasty breakfast and dinner. All perfect

Pros: its clean. Staff is nice and try to help. it was not the best hostel I have been and I was in many. I didnt meet any people the hostel has no like "main chill space" so you get not connectet.

Pros: I really love my stay in Mezcal Hostel. The staff are very accommodating like Boris in the reception and Pedro in the restaurant. They always made you feel at home. I will definitely book again if i will have come back to Cancun. The facilities of the hostel is nice and very clean. Shout out to wendy of housekeeping for always keeping my room clean.

Pros: The hotel was great the rooms are huge and comfortable, the waiters are the best in town And the tour booth near the hotel were also a good bunch of guys(don’t miss pass up this hotel because it don’t have a pool, trust me you won’t miss it because it’s plenty water in Mexico lol)

Cons: No pool and no all inclusive beach club! The beach club cost $42 a day per person with no shuttle and there was no pool at another facility. Front office staff didn’t seem to know anything and anytime we asked for information we were given different answers.

Cons: No windows, no security, excursion booth right outside my room and loud conversations. Also hated being bombarded with it as soon as I stepped out my room. Have some decency at least. Rooms need much more decorations. Also every TV channel was unwatchable and there were no wash cloths provided.

Pros: Definitely great hostel for solo travellers! Staff were really welcoming, always helpful, and made you feel at home straight away with a cozy location and nice rooftop, the right vibe to feel relaxed.

Pros: Amazing social vibe to this place! Feels like you're stepping into a home, rather than a hostel. Fast wifi, social breakfast, amazing staff! We stayed on xmas eve and they even threw a party on the roof terrace for all the guests! Free food, loads of booze, it was amazing and great to get to know so many people! The TV room is also great too for relaxing and watching a movie. The bus to the beach takes 30 minutes, it's cheap and easy to find. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again!

Pros: The price was one of the cheapest. Location is good, area is safe. Cleanliness was okay. My sheet for a bed was clean, but my friend’s was dirty. However, it was quickly fixed. Girl at the reception was friendly and ready to help. For breakfast we got some scrambled eggs with pieces of sausage. Also tea, coffee, and a pie. There is tv with nice quality and books, which you can read in comfortable living room. There is also a dog, which was good for me cause I like dogs.

Cons: Only problem was the cleanliness of the bathroom and kitchen. That's not to say it's super dirty - it's not! It could just be cleaner and smell a bit nicer. But apart from that, you'll have a hard time finding a friendlier place to stay!

Cons: Our large party booked 3 rooms. We arrived at midnight to find only two rooms. They said they'd look into reimbursing us in the morning, as we had paid for three rooms. Despite the contract agreement, Kukulcan Hostel & Friends would not reimburse. They thought it was fine to give us fewer rooms than we had reserved.

Cons: The owner was very disorganized, He could not accept credit card, and asked me to pay later. I had to ‘bother’ him while he partied to pay him and to remind him to help me call a taxi driver. In the end he called taxi driver but charged me double what he originally quoted. I had no choice but to pay the high price for the taxi because I was notified so late.

Cons: We arrived and they pretend they only have dormitary for the rate we paid even though we show them the confirmation. The room was disgusting. On the morning we had bug bed bites. At 3 am they were shouting next to our room, the owner! Do not go to this hotel for your own good
