Nice hotel despite location
This hotel is near the downtown area of Cancun which is very different from the hotel zone. It's in a residential area so it's a little odd to begin with but once you get past that the hotel location, the hotel entrance and facilities are nice. They have a secured parking lot behind the hotel which is a little hard to find at first but I like that they have security 24 hours a day. The hotel room is very clean and a big part of that is all the marble they have in the hotel.
The fixtures such as sink faucet, bathtub faucet and some other wall pieces in the bathroom are rusty. The bathtub faucet was so rusty on the inside it was difficult to work properly. The maids do a good job cleaning so it doesn't look like it needs replacing. The shower curtains smelled of mildew which didn't surprise me
It was close to downtown Cancun.
We were tired when we arrived, and the room they assigned us had not been cleaned. Second room we were given the bathroom door handle didn't work, and the toilet handle broke. We were exhausted so we settled by manually lifting lever to flush toilet.
