Entry to Poland is applicable to its Citizens, EU and EFTA citizens, foreign nationals married to Polish citizen, foreigners with Pole’s card, diplomats, foreigners with the right of permanent or temporary residence, Individuals working in Poland, students and other individuals who have compelling reason to enter Poland.
Travelers entering Poland by plane are required to fill out the Traveler Location Card prior to their flight schedule.
Unvaccinated visitors from New Zealand must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken 48 hours before departing to Poland.
Fully vaccinated visitors with approved vaccination certificates do not need to present a negative COVID-19 test.
The COVID-19 test does not apply to freight drivers; work permit holders; airline cabin crew; spouse and children of Polish citizens; train workers; agriculture workers; medical workers; students and pupils studying in Poland; members of diplomatic missions, consulates or international organizations including their families.
Unvaccinated visitors from New Zealand will need to quarantine for 10 days upon entering Poland.
Fully vaccinated visitors with approved vaccination certificates do not need to quarantine.
Permitted travelers from outside EU/Schengen area or outside Turkey will need to undergo a 10-day quarantine. If a negative test is presented seven (7) days after the following day of their arrival in the country, quarantine will be ended. The test result to be provided at their own cost is either a RT-PCR or lab-performed antigen test.
Children who are under the age of 12 traveling with their fully vaccinated parents or who can present a negative test result are exempt from quarantine requirement.
Travelers from EU/Schengen area and from Turkey who have been quarantined may provide a RT-PCR or antigen test in 48 hours after arriving in the country at their own cost. If the test is negative, they are no longer required to quarantine further.
Travellers returning from Poland must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken 72 hours before departure to New Zealand.
Exemptions apply to the following:
1. Children who are under two years of age.
2. Individuals who can present a medical certificate verifying they have been examined no earlier than 72 hours prior to departure and have been determined to be unable to undertake a test for medical reasons but do not exhibit symptoms of COVID-19
3. Individuals with past (recovered) cases of COVID-19 who have a positive 72 hour or less test result, but have a medical certificate for showing that the individual is no longer considered by a medical practitioner to be infectious with COVID-19
Visitors returning from Poland will need to quarantine for 14 days upon entering New Zealand.
Travelers to New Zealand from all countries, except eligible passengers from a quarantine-free travel zone (Niue and Cook Islands), must complete a 14-day stay in a managed isolation or quarantine facility.
Quarantine-free travel for Australian passengers are temporary suspended until further notice.
Fully vaccinated visitors from New Zealand can enter Poland without restrictions. Unvaccinated visitors from New Zealand need to provide a negative COVID-19 test result and quarantine to enter Poland.
