Cons: "Requested an aisle seat at the front or an emergency seat and got neither. I could hardly move my long legs. I was glad it was a relatively short flight. Is it just on flights to Kenya that passengers DO NOT receive the travel pouch?"
Pros: "I had a fast and easy check-in at Denpasar airport. In flight service by cabin crew was very good, as I normally get in the business class at Emirates. Flight left Denpasar on time and arrived in Auckland some 30 mins early, which was nice. Enjoyed a late dinner - the mie goreng ayam was particularly tasty!"
Cons: "In the past on overnight flights Emirates I have received a pyjama set in the Business Class, which made it very comfortable to sleep. But this time this was not given, so I had to sleep in my day-wear, which was a bit uncomformtable."
Pros: "Obviously Biz Class is a great proposition for a flight of this length and once again the experience was a good one. Staff are always friendly and very attentive."

Pros: "The departure and return flight time, for the price I paid, I felt like I was in more than an economy flight. The meal, the baggage quota, the entertainment. The time flew because by the time the movie had finished, we were starting to descend. I will always look for this flight with Emirates. There is no other flight in comparison, in what you get for your Buck. I believe that other Airlines, ie., Qantas, Virgin Aust, both give you a flight and service, for nearly the same fare but you only get 7kg luggage, no meal just the basic entitlement, tea/coffe/water with a biscuit or something like that and NO ENTERTAINMENT, NO COMPARISON!!!!"

Cons: "Firstly the check in for boarding pass took forever since there was only one counter that charged for extra luggage. I had to line up 3 times to get a boarding pass and almost missed my flight even though I came 2 hrs earlier. Secondly emirates does not give you Hotel even if your layover is for 14 hrs. Since my airline for final destination is another airline they said I don't qualify for it. It's a nightmare. I have travelled all other airline but by far emirates is the worst airline I travel. Terrible experience and I will never fly Emirates."
Pros: "Extremely quiet plane since they placed people in front of the half empty plane. Great plane food and internet access, limited to text but still incredibly useful to text people from the air."
Cons: "I checked in online, but when I went to drop my bags there was about a 20 min delay. the agent needed to make 2 phone calls and conference with 2 supervisors. All this without letting me know what was going on."

Pros: "Everything was very nice,, one of the nicer flights i have had in a long time and i fly often,, it didnt hurt that the flight was nearly empty,, so i had basically the whole section in the back to myself,, aside from that, the seating was comfortable and more roomy than others,, and the entertainment system was quite nice,, good sound,, larger hd screen and wide selection of programming,, also very convenient inputs for powering up"

Cons: "...the boarding, which was somewhat chaotic. An announcement was repeatedly made that the final boarding call for the flight had been issued, and suddenly the entire assembly of passengers waiting before the gate stood up en masse and moved toward the gate, where we ended up standing for twenty or so minutes while the passengers were boarded in sequence according to seat assignment. I'm certain that Emirates has a protocol for gate announcements, but one of their employees certainly didn't know what it was."

Cons: "Again, I was requested to move seats midway through a flight. A mother of 4 was separated from two of her kids in the flight. About 7 hours into the 14 hour flight, I was asked to move so that one of the children could be placed closer to his mother. Again, I was put in the situation of giving up my own comfort and moving to a middle seat, or standing my ground and disappointing/frustrating the mother. I made the choice to move. But it was disappointing that there was even a need to make these changes. There should be clearer ways for families to book together online."

Its time you charge for 2 seats for people that are the size of 2 people. Not fair to other passengers to have to be so inconvenienced and extremely uncomfortable."

There was one announcement made 10minutes after boarding was suppose to commence to say the boarding will be delayed. No details as to why, approximate time."

Cons: "Trip from ZAG to IAH Business Class. At ZAG they told me it was fine to take my skateboard onboard. At the Istanbul layover they forced me to pay $160 or else my items wouldn't make it on board. With a business class I still had to pay extra for a carry-on they said it was okay but then they changed their tune. I get it's in a different location but the same company is telling me two different things that ended up costing $160. On top of that, when I finally arrived at IAH they didn't have my skateboards... so I paid $160 for them to lose my boards."

I got to see the flight crew handle a medical emergency and saw that they were well prepared, efficient, and concerned. The food and entertainment were fine. I felt like the seat space was better than on British which I often use. I had an empty seat next to me however. I was impressed that the flight crew moved a taller gentleman to a premium (exit) seat to accommodate his extra tall stature. He didn't ask, but they wanted him to be comfortable."

Cons: "Everything. This was the worst star alliance flight i have taken. No control over the passengers, and kids. Screaming children the entire flight. I was not able to sleep at all. They did not dim the lights until extremely late in the flight. Business class lights were dimmed several hours before economy. The staff at gate check-in was not helpful. My seating assignment was separated from my wife. I was told they could not move me. I was originally set to be seated next to a young mother and baby. I switched with her husband and another passenger to be seated next to my wife. Why do I need to arrange a seating assignment that should have been obvious? Plus they did not credit me with my mileage. Thanks, never again."

Cons: "The service on Turkish airlines was not friendly or helpful. The food was not quality, or food tasting. The entertainment didn't include a lot of movies at all. One of the flights did even give headphones. The staff wasn't rude and not helpful, and didn't make the flight comfortable. I had high hopes flying with Turkish Airlines for the first time, but I was thoroughly disappointed with everything."

Cons: "Boarded from the front and rear of the plane. We were in the middle, so it was slow. 6+ hours in a 737 -- I feel like compacted trash. Crew avoids looking at you for fear that you'll talk to them. Worse airline I've been on for communicating. Food just isn't very good."

Pros: "We were hesitant about flying Turkish Airlines. In the past they have had bad reviews and there had just been the terrorist bombing at the airport. But the flights to Croatia were cheap so we bought. The food was great and plentiful. Staff were very polite. We had a night flight to Istanbul and both my wife an I were able to stretch out in empty middle rows seats and sleep. I would definitely fly them again. They are very underrated."

Cons: "The A/C in the cabin was not working properly and for the first 2 hours was not even working. I had a hard time breathing, I was sweating and felt like I was going to faint. Eventually it worked better, but was on and off during the flight. It was unacceptable to let the plane go with the A/C not working properly. They even tried to blame it on the engines, that they had to work in full to get it going. I've flown hundreds of times and this is the first time I encountered anything like that."

Cons: "We had a child behind us who would not stop screaming and playing with the tray table. One of the crew members gave me a hard time for having my purse out for 1 minute while I was taking my prenatal vitamin even though we were sitting on the runway for over an hour at this point and the man in front of me had his chair fully reclined so I wasn't able to get to it under my seat.. Even though as she said, we were about to take off, but she didn't say anything to the man in front of me. This was my second time flying with them and the first experience was much better."
Cons: "I was assigned a non-existent seat! How could that happen?! I had to sit in a leftover seat after everyone else had claimed theirs."
Pros: "We were pleasantly surprised when we received a full box of snacks on our short flight from Zagreb to Instabul. The trip was comfortable and we enjoyed that there was a movie available overhead and they provided headphones for. Overall, it was a fine experience."
Cons: "Service was fine until our water bottle (which we thought was empty) leaked a bit in the overhead compartment and the female crewmember was incredibly rude and gave the most disgusted look when we claimed the bag that had a small leak of water (about a tablespoon). She also whispered something in Turkish to fellow crewmembers and they all laughed. It was embarrassing and unnecessary. We also were left in the bus on the tarmac for 10 minutes before we could board without any notification of what was going on."
