All was fine, good service, friendly atmosphere, feeling safe all the way, l will recommend it to anyone.

Qantas and Emirates flights were awesome, the timing of dimming lights to encourage sleep was great and the food service and timings were perfect. bathrooms were clean and enough legroom in economy

Emirates is nice

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Nothing"
Pros: "Crew was very nice and helpful"
Cons: "Boarding with Nigerians is always difficult"
Pros: "No hotel room for long trip"
Pros: "The options for drinks for this 13hr flight were great. The food was sufficient. The ride was smooth as usual."
Cons: "I know the crew gets tired too, but the whole crew shouldn't be tired and disappear all at once."
Pros: "The boarding was fast and efficiently carried out, considering there were hundreds of passengers"
Cons: "The fact that we were delayed for a variety of reasons and sat in the plane for 2 hours before taking off. That was difficult for everyone."
Pros: "Food was not good at all. Crew response is poor for help. I pushed button for help and crew total ignored it. When I asked them when they came to serve food after 40mins, said they were busy to respond for help"
Pros: "Lucky to have the seat free next to me otherwise not much else good."
Cons: "Was supposed to be a A380 but they changed the flight to 777. I only flew with Emirates to be in the more spacious A380 otherwise I’d have chosen another carrier at better price. I also paid to choose seat which naturally didn’t apply any longer and was put at very back of plane so that money was wasted. They could have at least advised but the attitude was blaze and not willing to even speak to me."
Pros: "The leg space and the entertainment. The crew were very nice."
Cons: "The bathroom must be kept cleaner."
Pros: "good entertainment, great staff"
Cons: "plane a little older, but all in, it was fine"
Pros: "Smooth boarding and take off on time !"
Pros: "Great flight"
Cons: "No"
Pros: "Obviously Biz Class is a great proposition for a flight of this length and once again the experience was a good one. Staff are always friendly and very attentive."
Cons: "We are not big eaters but when you leave at 10am then a lunch and breakfast is a bit of a stretch and even with light snack options we found ourselves hungry. Breakfast was not too flash"
Pros: "The crews"
Cons: "The wifi is bad the food is bad im in business class"
Cons: "hh"
Cons: "crew doesn’t seem to talk to each other. advised multiple times that my touch screen didn’t work and that i didn’t want the jain meal. your check-in interface does not allow changing food preferences. this should change"
Pros: "Nothing special in this trip."
Cons: "Flight delayed so much, food was okay, fork"
Pros: "It's time to check the competition."
Cons: "Emirates is (just) OK in a business class (never trier economy in Emirates), but I have a very strong feeling they should be much better. Cabine interior should be much better (it's old, seats are not full beds and are somehow narrow). Food offering should be improved (continental breakfast - what king of cost-cutting is that???). What is really good is in-flight entertaintement system. But you don't pay for a business class to watch movies, right?"
Pros: "Boarding went smoothly, flight was very comfortable with great entertainment options. Attentive staff!"
Pros: "Good space for economy class"
Cons: "Announce duty free on flight is closing soon so if interested to purchase last min pls check with crew...by the time you get hold of crew I find out it’s closed - all in 5 mins, from the time I saw message and spoke with crew member it was shut. Should give a little more time on announcements, enough to get a crew member and see products to purchase."
Pros: "Was crowded"
Pros: "The staff & the service"
Cons: "The entertainment set up was dated and malfunctioning"
Pros: "It felt comfortable."
Pros: "Flight crew was very friendly and helpful, seats were comfortable, entertainment options were plenty, and food was excellent. Would definitely fly again and recommended to others."
Cons: "Check in process was a little slow, since they do not have self service kiosks for those who are not checking bags. However, ticket staff was very friendly and helpful. Boarding was a tad chaotic, since they do not have separate lines for each group."
Pros: "Entertainment"
Cons: "One of the flight attendants was extremely rude. She passed over me several times like I wasn't sitting in the most uncomfortable seat. In the middle. She didn't want to give me water, I had to ask if I could have some water. TSA held me up, I almost missed my flight had to be rushed on and no place to put my things so I had to sit squashed in the middle seat with all my bags for a 12 hour flight. I won't EVER go through Boston AGAIN. I won't ever chose Emirates for that long flight again, if I can help it. The WORST!!"
Pros: "the food was wonderful, the economy seats were comfy, and the service was superb. I really liked being able to watch movies and listen to music w/o a charge."
Cons: "I was taken by surprise that I could not take my SLR camera on board as carry-on luggage and had to check it (they were doing this to everyone, not just me and it covered laptops, kindles, cameras, etc - everything electronic except phones). This was not done on the flight into Dubai. Also irritating was when I got to Boston, an Emirates guy cut open the packing envelope open and in the process, accidentally sliced the camera neck strap. He was, however, very apologetic and eagerly got me the info needed to submit a claim to Emirates."
Pros: "The service is excellent!"
Cons: "Crammed, staff poor"
Pros: "Flight was light and was comfortable"
Cons: "The flight was light. Even with that the crew seemed checked out. Did not come by to offer additional drinks or snacks. I noticed some unprofessional physical contact between few Crew members."
Pros: "Everything i mean whats there not to like ?"
Cons: "Very cold. Limited new/quality music to choose from..."
Pros: "Roomy and good service"
Cons: "Everything was good"
Pros: "Everything is very well organised"
Cons: "All was good"
Pros: "Plenty of space, travel gift, nice people, good food"
Cons: "Bathrooms got dirty and filled with trash fast. It was kinda gross"
Pros: "It was a smooth flight"
Cons: "It was ok"
Pros: "The crew was bery rude and not helpful at all. Worst airline we have ever used"
Pros: "Flight was clean that's pretty much it."
Cons: "Medicore service tryed almost all major airlines this was the worst service."
Pros: "Very organized boarding"
Pros: "We asked for an imodium and were deplaned and forced to pay $500 as a fine for being ill."
Cons: "Seats elbow room was insufficient."
Pros: "Live the overall ecperience"
Pros: "good crew, prompt timing, good food"
Cons: "long transit in Dubai"
Pros: "A380 is great, roomy even for coach. Food is great as always."
Cons: "While most flight attendants are decent, a few are just not that great...making loud noises at the attendants compartments and chatting around while flyers are all sleeping, kick around garbages which makes loud noises too. Also the TV screen is a little hard to pull up at the front role."
Pros: "Continues"
Cons: "None"
Cons: "Baggage claim in Hyd took more than 2 hours"
Pros: "The flight itself was fantastic. Perfection as usual. Emirates is surely neck to neck with Singapore Airlines for the number one spot of the best airline in the world."
Cons: "1. I joined at Bangalore. The staff worked strictly according to the rules. While this is good it lends itself to passenger discomfort at times. Example: I had only 1 suitcase of 45 pounds, and I had a hand baggage of 13.7 kgs, because I was carrying all my precious crystalware back to Houston. The attendant kept insisting I lighten the hand baggage to les than 7 kgs. Finally he even suggested I send the hand baggage as checked luggage. He must be insane! I had a few thousand dollars worth of crystal in that hand bag and there was no way I'd send as checked luggage. Finally, I lightened the load to 10 kgs and called his manager and I was allowed to carry the hand luggage. 2. On landing at Dubai, everything unraveled. The airport was full of thousands of stranded passengers because 18 hours ago a plane had crash-landed at the tarmac causing flight cancellations. Obviously Emirates was poorly prepared for handling this this emergency. Many of the passengers, including myself, ended up standing at the customer service counters (there were about 10 customer service stations all over the airport), and every customer station had about 500 irate passengers and 3 or 4 agents handling them. Not only that, the customers were standing in stuffy atmosphere, no fod no water for hours, many mothers were desperate with children. Emirates had no idea how to handle this situation. I caught hold of a senior police official and told him that the least he could do was to give the customers some bottled water to keep them hydrated. Within minutes, in typical Arab hospitality - many cases of bottled water showed up, followed by cupcakes and then Mango Frootis. This helped to calm the passengers down. Then there was the chaos of everyone crowding the service desk. No lines, no semblance of order. After discussion with the policeman, we installed barriers for that passengers would stand single file. One thing that was very wrong and out of our control was there were only 3, sometimes 4, persons behind the desk, attending to more than 500 stranded passengers at each station. I reckon we would need at least 20 or 30 staff at each station. I noted that at each customer depot there were at least 10 computer stations at our service station, but only 3 were manned. Also, there was no one to advise the passengers on their status, what arrangements were being made, what the status update of the situation was...... nothing. We just stood in a bunch at the customer service desk and hoped for some attention. Appalling. Emirates needs to beef up their crisis management strategies. As a Crisis Manager myself, I was appalled to see how poor their capability to respond to a crisis situation was. I have many ideas based on my experience in crisis management. If you want suggestions call me. Besides this crisis, Emirates has always been a very good airline to me. Their everyday service is impeccable and a treat to experience.
