Pros: "I would have liked for them to refund my ticket even though I asked them to. They ignored my request and I didn't get to go on to the plane but I still paid for it."

And hen we didn’t and then another announcement of 10 minutes etc Process was confusing. Four different lines with signage that was too low to be seen by anyone except those who were up front. Employees were flustered and having arguments on phone in presence of those boarding. Led to more chaos and uneasiness"

Cons: "I was shocked at the baggage charge upon checking in and was told I just purchased a seat from Virgin Australia but no baggage transport with the flight. When kayak directed me to VA, I made the purchase and certainly did not remember being offered a chance to purchase baggage fee as other airlines offer (e.g. BA). While I understand kayak refer users to search airlines baggage fees it need to make sure that airlines offer true and baggage fees at the time of purchase so the full cost of flight is clear at purchase time."

Shortly after we finally boarded I got a text saying our connecting flight from Christchurch to Dunedin was cancelled. So, we were flown to Christchurch & given hotel accommodations for the night, only to be flown BACK the next day to Wellington to catch a flight to Dunedin. All in all quite infuriating."

Once on the plane, it was very chaotic as passengers did not wait for people to put bags in the overhead bin without passing by, and not all overhead bins were open for loading. Pros: "Emirates is a true Customer Service oriented airline. It is a relief to know that in this age of carriers that charge you a lot and treat you like you are paying a bus ticket there are airlines that still know the key to success. Boarding was fine and not dependent on local personalities. You can tell the company cares about training. The food and entertainment is excellent. Seats are still a little smaller but they try and make up with it with other perks. Flight crew was polite, smiling, and accommodating no matter the time. Pillows, blankets, snacks, etc. all given without having to ask or be charged. We were also given these little self care packs with toothbrush & paste, eye pillow, socks, and earplugs! Overall it made a long flight over night very comfortable."

I booked the flight because i was particular on the shortest duration of the flight they rebooked me on a flight that would have taken me to my destination after 36 hrs and the way the crew spoke was so horrible. It was as if they did me a favor by putting me on another flight."
Cons: "Crew woke us up to ask us if we wanted food. I've only ever been woken up before for safety reasons (seat belts, etc) We were not impressed with the arrival in Dubai. We came in a large plane and had to deplane very far from the terminal onto buses, down a long set of stairs. They did not send enough buses so we waited on the hot outside stairs for about 15 minutes. It took us a full 45+ minutes from landing to get to the actual terminal. We were grateful we had a long layover or we would not have made our connecting flight!"

I tried to get to the back, the crew dint even move to help us with anything. They sat together and were talking and dint even care to move. I have never seen this amount of careless attitude so far in emirates. Food quality has gone down quite a bit compared to my travel before."

Cons: "Consistently late departures. Did not keep passengers informed about updated departure times. After serving the food, it took more than one hour to take the leftovers away. During the flight from Dubai -Chicago, hot beverages were served 1.5 hours after the food was served. Crew was not friendly at all. During the Chicago-Dubai flight a crew member basically yelled at passengers "open the windows" and I had to tell him to "ask nicely please). Emirates comes nowhere close to Singapore, Thai, or Turkish in terms of service."

Cons: "The seat was terribly uncomfortable. The seat bottom has a ridge that digs into your rear. This was on both 380 flights and I tried three seats in total. After a couple of hours is when the pain starts. If the seat back was moved forward, you would not sit on this edge. Please fix. Not sure I could fly on a 380 again for this duration."

When they finally served us, they said they did not have a vegetarian meal inspite of my having ordered a hindu vegetarian meal. on creating a ruckus they managed to arrange a vegetarian meal"

Im a silver card holder on Oneworld ao I wanted to have less queue by using Silver card privileges at Malaysian Airlines counter but was not accepted. Had to go onlong queue at Emirates in KLIA but it was fast."

So I moved, to be removed by Sarah (stewardess) and put back in Tow 75. Then she put two of her friends in Row 50. When I walked up later to get my bag, there was still an empty Row 50 seat, but her friiends’ purses were in the seat, and they reluctantly removed the items when I insisted to sit there. Sarah should have left me in Row 50 and not made me move back to 75."

The snacks kept coming and the meals were delicious! We’re were treated so nicely, I hope to always travel on Qantas to visit my grandkids. My last United flight wasn’t even close to being comparable. In fact, I dreaded the thought of the long flight but Qantas has changed my view and now I have NO reservations when contemplating future visits."

He would’ve received a meal specifically designed for him. Best way to order next time in order to get the pre-ordered dinner/lunch and then the lacto ova for the breakfast?"

Cons: "American Airlines cancelled a flight because of ‘weather’ from Msy to dfw, all other flights from Msy to Dallas operated on time but were sold out. We were re booked flying through San Francisco, missing out on flying on qantas, which is what I had paid for since they are a premium airline. We were booked on virgin America and then United for the international flight. United charged us each for 2 bags totalling $150 each, despite we booked a ticket with qantas which allows 2 bags each. Virgin America honoured our 2 bags, but united refused to. United also has service and aircraft which do not match the levels of qantas which I has specifically sought out. I could not eat some of the food because of the poor quality, and this is something I’ve never done before on an international flight. Additionally their were a lack of amenities on both flights, and no food vouchers despite our travel delay of over 5 hours. This whole ordeal has cost me money, worktime, and created a lot of stress to where I have had to cancel meeting on my arrival in Sydney."

Cons: "The complete lack of space between seats Old style plane Very average new movie selection"
Pros: "Didn't have to pay for drinks, after 4pm policy!"
Cons: "Call what was server 'supper' didn't quite cut it. More like tiny heavily salted cardboard."
Pros: "Despite the fact that there was a nearly 9 hour delay in Sydney, Qantas handled it as best they could. I received three $15 meal vouchers to use in the airport. And, since I missed my connecting flight, Qantas booked a hotel for me, free shuttle service to the hotel from the airport and rebooked me on the earliest connecting flight. I was of course inconvenient for this to happen but it was handled well."
Pros: "I enjoyed the entertainment system. Unfortunately, I discovered season 6 of "Game of Thrones" too late to binge the entire season. The crew was friendly-- it was as comfortable as a 16 hour flight in the economy cabin can be."
Cons: "I did not get much sleep-- I was watching movies and TV!"
Pros: "Crew was very professional. Entertainment was good. Pillows and blankets were availanle when we arrived."
Cons: "We were sporadicaly with water and ice from above. The arm rests were uncomfortable and some were broken. Food was only so so and for international flyers, the menu was not able to be fully understood."
Pros: "Screen size is better and bigger"
Pros: "The comfort , the food the entertainment"
Pros: "What did I like - getting off the plane."
Cons: "After booking via QANTAS the seats allocated were the last seats on the plane and did not recline. One of the TV monitors did not work and the checking in at the airport was third world."
