Cons: "It's been a while since I flew Southwest, I had forgotten how cramped their seating was (I'm 6'1"), how they don't do assigned seating, which would be fine if I was flying alone, but it created a headache in flying with my wife (who stresses about those sort of things) and a child in a leg cast. The first flight was also extremely bumpy in the first 5 minutes. I've been flying for about 32 years now and never had any worry about planes, but I remember getting nervous for that first 5 minutes (though, that was the second flight I've taken with my family, so I may have been a bit more critical for that factor alone). After that though, it was fine, but there was never an announcement about turbulence or something to ease my worries, so I guess I was a bit nervous."

They basically blamed me for being late and not being there on time. Two others from my flight were allowed to make the connection but told me that they gave my seat away because I was late. We all showed up at the same time from the late flight. I talked to 3 people including customer service and did not get a single “I’m Sorry”. Do they not communicate with each other when a flight is late and they have passengers for connections running late? They told me they don’t talk. The best they can do is put me standby for 9:30 flight and if I cannot get on that flight I have to wait until morning. My daughter is in a competition tomorrow morning and thanks to Alaska Airlines I’m going to miss it. I’m sitting here writing this review, paying for a dinner I should not be paying for and probably searching out a hotel room until morning when I can catch a flight. Unbelievable the lack of empathy."

I can understand cutting off the use of them once the flight crew is seated but they were still walking around and I really had to go. I don't recall a warning for this. If there was an announcement it was not audible over the hum of the engine. I'm very dissatisfied about that final part of my experience."
Pros: "There was a huge delay due to weather. The plane didn't take off until almost 2am, however the crew kept everyone up to date and did everything they could. Upon arrival I had an apology email from Alaska with a discount, this amazed me as usually airlines don't offer you anything when the delay isn't "mechanical", and even then you usually have to complain. I felt this made Alaska's customer service memorable as they went above and beyond."

I could have gotten to a near city several hours after but on the same day, but the mediocrecy of this employes did not allow me to get there until the next day at 7 am. Happy new year to me. This two women (or one of them) on the phone, lied to me. There was an option to get me here and one of them failed to do their job right AND LIED TO MY FACE ON THE PHONE. Just unacceptable. I will sue them, I had an under age waiting for me in Cancun and a pet with me!. With no food or access to do its necessities. AND THERE WAS AN OPTION THAT "they missed" on porpuse."

Sun Country promotes the burger as having Lions Tap seasoning. For the Lions Tap people- you're not doing your business any favors being associated with one of the worst microwave burgers on the planet!! I would be willing to bet the youngest flight attendant on the crew was in her early 60s, not that I have a problem with a senior crew but they were less than eager to please and they seem to have this take it or leave it attitude. Cons: "Snack was not provided Requested for a blanket as I forgot my jacket, was told that I could buy one if I needed it Boarding from Minneapolis was a bit messy as they boarded middle rows last and when I got in there was a scramble to find a spot for my cabin luggage as the cabin above my seat was already full. Not a big deal - created a little bit of delay when getting off the plane. Had to wait for 10 minutes to get to my cabin luggage which was all the way at the back."
Pros: "Nice to get a drink especially coke products."
Cons: "A little snack would be nice like some peanuts or pretzels. I can't believe that can be much of an expense."

Cons: "No seat assignment available and had to pay 30$ extra to ensure seats were together with no info or help from kayak. Carry ons were checked in despite plenty of overhead space. Charges for even first check in bag. Will avoid sun country from now on."

Cons: "My boyfriend and I purchased our seats separately and we asked if there was a way that we could be seated together. The man that was checking in our bags said no and that the plane was full. We were fine with it, but after awhile he said that he found a couple seats together in the emergency exit aisle. It was great! We got on the plane and there were tons of extra seats, the plane was not full and I believe that he was too lazy to look for seats together upon our first request."

Pros: "The ticket agent was efficient and welcoming. The pilot spend time personally in the cabin to welcome and inform us of the flight time. It was a quiet and uneventful, restful flight."

Cons: "I don't like that they only offer one hot food - a hamburger. A wrap and or sandwich offering (healthier choice) would be better. Other airlines offer more."

Cons: "My seat's headrest was broken and kept rocking forward into my head the entire flight. My seat also did not recline as far as my seat mate's. For first class, this was the least comfortable flight and almost would have taken a coach class just for more comfort. Disappointed!"
Cons: "Crew member opened champagne bottle as passengers were getting on the flight and it spilled on the person in front of me and on myself and I had to ask for napkins from him instead of him apologizing and giving them to me himself. No free food, not even chips or anything. No TVs. I was on a 5 hour flight with no in-flight entertainment."

In-flight movies are normally free over a 5 hour flight, but that didnt seem to be the case, not a bad thing as overnight everyone slept, however my screen was unable to shut off so we had to cover it with a blanket to block the light."

If a small suitcase does not fit in the overhead bin without taking all the space, people should be forced to check it. Please adhere to your own policies. Not fair to people that don't board first at all."

Cons: "Mechanical issues caused 2hr delay and therefore missed connection. Notified @ 10AM as we were walking out the door to waiting über. Tried stand-by on earlier flights that would have made the connection, unsuccessfully. Reassigned to red-eye flight leaving 10PM. Stayed 10 hrs at airport - ended up getting hotel room for the day. Zero compensation from United for meals / hotel."

Cons: "Couldn't pre pick my seat. Was assigned middle seat in row of 5. Very cramped for a 4 hour flight. Especially when person in front fully leans his seat back as I'm trying to type on laptop."
Cons: "This had to be the most uncomfortable seating we have seen in awhile. We felt like the seat in front of us was about 6 inches from our face. Considering it was a red-eye flight, it would have been nice to be able to sleep. No way was that possible. We also were given a drink, and no one came back to pick up our drinks until close to the end of the flight."
Pros: "Crew clearly understood that people were frustrated with the delay and did their best to speed up boarding process. Flight arrived earlier than expected and crew helped with difficult transfers"

Pros: "Airline had group lanes at gate prior to boarding which reduces chaos. STILL, Groups 4 & 5 had to check rollerboards due to no overhead space."

Cons: "I had no issues with my flights but my bag was damaged to the point I can no longer use it. They asked for volunteers to check their carry on due to a full flight (not my problem) so I did the nice thing and checked my small hard-case carry on never thinking it could get damaged that badly. It was only 2-3 years old and not only did the wheel come off but it cracked a portion of the hard case which came off as well. To make it worse when I called to ask what I should do to get compensation they told me the wrong thing and would only let me talk to people in call centers who wouldn't really answer my questions."

Cons: "I was on a super late flight to Chicago and for some reason was placed in Boarding Group 5 (I have a United cc, so I thought that came with the perks). I got over that part. But then they made me check my roller-board claiming they were full up. When I boarded, there was PLENTY of overhead bin space. So I had to go to baggage claim after midnight for no reason. Bummer."
Cons: "Somehow I ended up with a middle seat all three flights I took. I would have upgraded if offered. Plane wasn't all that comfortable. All and all, you guys got me where I needed to go, so I can't really complain. Thank you"
Pros: "My father got into the hospital so I called United to try to reschedule the flight I already had. The woman on the phone rescheduled my flight right away without charging me for any flight change fees and told me several times that she wished my father to get well. I was truly impressed and I'm very grateful! Thank tou for a wonderful service and getting me to my family so quickly!"

Pros: "had a 4 hour delay due to plane issue. staff was helpful though, kept passengers up to date, and allowed us to deboard when the wait was 2.5hrs+ and go back to the gate for snacks."
Cons: "We got on board, waited 20 minutes. Capt said it was a bad reverser, and we were waiting on paperwork for 15 minutes. Long story short, they make us leave the plane after 2.5 hours. Then we wait in the airport for another 2.5 hours. I missed my connection and spent 10 hours in Chicago."
Cons: "My seat was changed 12 rows back from what I originally booked and I was put in a middle seat. I sat on the phone for over one hour with customer service and again at SFO with representatives of United who could have cared less. We all have choices and United will not be one of mine anymore."
