Cons: "Waited 55 minutes for baggage claim in Auckland. No reason given. I expect better service from Air New Zealand even though I understand the baggage handler’s are different group"

Pros: "The food we were served was of excellent quality which is so unusual when it comes to airline meals, crew and service was great as well. Obviously Air NewZealand have a far better understanding of what there customer base require compared to their competitors"

Cons: "After scanning boarding passes at gate, flight crew required us to show them again at the plane door. We had already stowed our phones, as I think others had. Minor issue but caused what seemed like an unnecessary backup at the cabin door. Our other domestic Air New Zealand flight didn't require it."

Cons: "The flight was not on time There was no food on the plane for us even though we paid “full service carrier” price There were very few free movies!!! This is horrible. We wished we’d flown with Jetstar - lack of everything like with air New Zealand but at least the price would be much lower!"

Cons: "Flight was delayed and the informati N at the gate kept changing. Regular announcements that we would board in 10 Minutes. And hen we didn’t and then another announcement of 10 minutes etc Process was confusing. Four different lines with signage that was too low to be seen by anyone except those who were up front. Employees were flustered and having arguments on phone in presence of those boarding. Led to more chaos and uneasiness"
Cons: "Upon arrival we were informed that each checked bag was $60. This was news to us. The NZ flight employee informed us that Air NZ informed us quite well of this info, this the booking agent was at fault."

Pros: "Great customer service. We flew on Air New Zealand and United, and the contrast was big. ANZ stewards showed much higher level of pride in serving their passengers."
Pros: "No bags on an international flight?! I had to pay $375 for 3 bags. Last minute changes with a layover, instead of a 3 hr flight it was a 6 hr flight and NO FOOD not even available to purchase.... very confusing very disappointed...."

Cons: "Unlike other international flights, Air New Zealand only allows 1 check in luggage per person instead of 2. Most other international airlines allow 2 check in luggage. But otherwise it was good and the service was ok, not as much food selection as other airlines but the crew are very nice and the airline is very clean."

Cons: "The check in, the baggage drop off and pickup were very confusing and it made it a little stressful having to change flights. Boarding passes are also difficult to obtain through other airlines."
