Cons: "ruin my seat arrangement for no reason! We were traveling as a family of 7 (2 grandparents from each side, my husband, my 4 year son and myself). We paid $30 per person per seat so that we could sit together and watch out for each other because some of the grandparents are in their 80's. However, when we checked in, we found out all our seats were re-arranged and in the worst possible way! Our 4 year old child was assigned in middle seat no where near my husband or myself. In addition, the family was divided in half, separated by the service station. I had switched seat so I can sit with my son but my husband had to sit at the other side of the service station to take care of the other half of the family because they do not speak English. I was left to attend to my 4 year old son by myself, which was hard to do. what bothers me the most is that there seem to be no obvious reason for them to re-arranged seats in such a devastating manner - it was not a full flight at all. I saw quite a few empty seats in the back. We spoke to the woman who was the head of the stewardess about the problem upon boarding, she said she would try to see what she could do, but she never got back to us at all. The seats were horrible seats for a few reason. First, there were a lot of traffic and noise from crew and other passengers because they were next to the Service station. Second, we were always the last one to receive food service because of the location. This is a problem when you have 4 year old and 80 years old who were diabetics."

Only at the end of a very long way there was a representative of Quantas to show us the way. We were very nervous because of uncertainty and came late to the gate. Then it turned out that there were many people behind us. The plane was waiting for them for about an hour. Finally, everybody came. It would be much more logical, if from the beginning the connecting flight to JFK was postponed to some more appropriate time."

Cons: "We sat on the plane for 45 min before they let us out. The flight was delayed for about 2 hrs but they let us out and gave us a voucher to spend. We sat in row 73 from Sydney to SFO and it was really hot, the AC didnt really kick in. It was uncomfortable. But it did finally got colder. It just took a long time."

When the people in front of us layed their seats down we could not even move and when meals were served the flight attendants had to ask the passengers in front of us to please put their seats up so that they could serve us food. Then when the service was over the people layed their seats right down...they were literally in our laps."

It was so easy getting thru security. They did change the gate 3 times but not an issue. Boarding process was easy.

Flight attendants were super, pilot did a great take off and landing, all in all “Great flight”

We had to find our own way back to NY Air Canada, meanwhile,was still selling seats at exorbitant prices while thousands of passengers were left stranded I travel several times a month and will ensure that I avoid travel with Air Canada. I will also let met friends and colleagues know not to use Kayak or fly with Air Canada. Because I booked with Kayak, Air Canada would not resolve the problem"

The wheelchair attendant was very friendly and courteous she made my mother feel relaxed since it was her first time traveling alone as a disabled person."

Cons: "Air Canada shares a trait with many other incompetent organizers: everything is fine if nothing goes wrong, but there are no contingency plans in place in case something goes wrong. So, things get more and more delayed. Can't you predict roughly when the plane is going to land (once it is in the air!) and arrange for some gate to be open, so that we don't have to sit on the ground for 45 minutes once it has landed, for example? People who know how to organize are ordinarily capable of doing that. Furthermore, the lack of transparency is really frustrating: we just sit on the tarmac with no indication of how long we're going to be there, and the estimates of the delays are completely wrong when we're given them."

Cons: "Pretty much everything was a bad experience from start to finish. The flight was delayed a half an hour which is fine and can be understandable. The space in the seats was almost criminal for an 8 hour flight. Pretty the equivalent of having people shoulder to shoulder. Impossible to try and sleep on an overnight flight. During mid flight I noticed that I had a lot of trouble breathing and thought it was just me. My wife said the same thing to me and someone on the flight needed medical assistance for oxygen. It was extremely hot the whole flight with no ability to control the air flow which made it even worse. The entertainment selection was good however the device was almost unsable because it was very laggy and it wouldn't select what you wanted. It was easily the worst experience I had and I only really went into some of the details. Having trouble breathing was by far the worst part and I couldn't believe it. My flight back was glaringly better so I'm perplexed by why this was so bad."

The flight was delayed by two hours. there was no in-flight entertainment on board as it wasn't working. upon landing, we were forced to stay in the plane for an extra 30 minutes because the gate and crew were not ready. I was NOT impressed by this flight and am very upset with how things went. I expected better of AC and will not be flying again with them."

Air Canada should be more accomodating to customers who want to take an earlier flight, as I had to wait around for no reason whatsoever."

Take off I thought no big deal, but when it was time to land the flight attendant actually looked right at him and said nothing.. When I put my tray down, there was sugar and coffee stains on it. Luckily, I had a wet wipe to wipe it off. The attendants were not very friendly and I was disappointed with them. It just seemed like they were in a hurry. Note this was my flight from Omaha to Chicago. NOT the connecting flight Ord-DCA."

Cons: "Boarded plane with my 8 week old baby. After getting settled had to deplane due to mechanical issues. Then I stalled feeding as he has to nurse during takeoff to relieve pressure. Airline kept slightly postponing it so wasn't comfortable nursing as I needed him to eat during takeoff. But no realistic time was ever given. Eventually they cancelled flight and they rebooked next day. Then united realized they would have to give travel vouchers / hotel if flight was cancelled so they re labeled it "delayed" to avoid putting everyone up in a hotel. 13.5 hrs of a delay overnight is not a delay and deserves better treatment! To add insult to injury, my GATE checked stroller took 45 min to come up to the top of the jetway. 45 minutes! I had to ask 4 times with a screaming 8 week old with nowhere to set him! The kind girl kept paging down to them but nobody would bring it up. It was absolutely horrible. Then today at check-in they couldn't figure out how to print the infant boarding pass which ultimately took 30-40 min of the lady trying to no avail. I arrived 1 hr 10 min early to my flight and nearly missed it due to United. The issues with printing my "infant voucher" caused me to have to run through the airport and frantically collapse stroller to make on time. With zero sleep thanks to the debacle the night before. Beyond disappointed and believe should be compensated for this experience."

We were supposed to land in RIC by 2, but by the time we got a flight (which was again delayed), it was almost 10pm. The only helpful person I dealt with was John, who took my call to get us on another flight."

Cons: "Delayed at Chicago for 8 hours before they canceled the flight. It was beautiful & Sunny in both Chicago (depart) & Omaha (arrive) all day. The flight was most likely canceled because of an incoming flight that never arrived. Stayed at hotel on my own dime after wasting an entire day. Completely unacceptable and will never use airline for this route again."
Pros: "Smooth boarding. Friendly crew. Got us there on time, despite a late start That included a gate change."
Cons: "Was asked to check my carry on bag, because the flight was full. Meaning they sold the seat I purchased for my wife (who was unable to make the flight). I did so, but when I looked in the overhead bin after the flight, it was empty. When we arrived in Denver, I waited at the baggage carousel, watched everyone pick up there bags, until there were only 5 or 6 bags going around. I then went to a counter behind the carousel and asked about my bag. I was only then told that my bag had been there the whole time I was waiting."

Pros: "Just noticed survey on my flight from Omaha to Chicago. Sadly I woke up to find that that flight was cancelled and I had to reschedule and flown to Denver instead."
Cons: "The stewardess wasn't the least bit helpful. I did not see any friendliness on her part to anyway. It was like she had to do the job but didn't like being there. So very weird. My original flight to Milwaukee with stop in Chicago was cancelled. This was a flight that took me to Denver and then Milwaukee. Therefore cold for over two hours. Not a good experience with United."

Cons: "Flight delayed. Stayed at airport for more than 2 hours. Baggage lost."
Pros: "All the staff working for United Airlines are very professional and caring. Wifi onboard was fantastic!!"
