Got to departure gate 12 minutes before plane departure. You need more time to have a good experience !"

My husband was not able to board the flight - no refund, no help - and the sad part was, it wasn't for a holiday - it was to visit and help his 87yr old father-in-law who had fallen and cracked his spine. No sympathy from Virgin, VERY DISAPPOINTED!"

Months out my flight was cancelled and I was rebooked onto a later flight that would have made us miss all of our transfers to our honeymoon on Fitzroy Island. Because I had booked through 'a 3rd party' Qantas refused to assist me. I managed to convince budget air to change our flights. We were moved to a jetstar flight from Melbourne to cairns. I had to confirm that this had occurred and go through multiple people online to reallocate seats and food options for my husband and myself again. Only my luggage allowance was carried across to jetstar and neither of our meal allowances were. When it came to online check-in with jetstar I could not check my husband in online only myself. I spoke to multiple people online who all confirmed they didn't know why or there was no problem and we should just present ID and check in in person. When we got to the airport Qantas had not transferred the e-ticket code across for my husband's booking and this is why we could not check him in online. The jetstar staff had to try to get his original booking code from Qantas. As it turned out I had to original booking code through budget Air in my hand and had to assert this information to staff. Flying back we were able to check in online fine with Qantas. Our boarding passes printed different sizes but did not present a problem when we dropped off our luggage. When we sent to check in the staff member couldn't get the smaller pass to read and my husband had to assert that he also had it on his phone. Despite all of my online conversations the aisle seat was allocated to me and not my husband who required it because of a medical condition and the flight was 30min delayed. We won't be traveling with Qantas or jetstar, or booking through budget Air again."

My luggage was lost during this connecting flight for nearly my ENTIRE 2 week stay in europe, this issue no doubt instigated by my original flight being delayed 6hrs I did not pack my "personal item" with anything of consequence, I had to buy CLOTHES & TOILETRIES TO LAST ME 2 WEEKS

Cons: "The flight was over booked, at the point of boarding there was no room left on the flight for any carry on’s so they wanted everyone to check bags one particular lady at the gate snatched my husbands boarding pass out of his had and threw it back at him so it landed on the floor. She came back with a checked bag ticket, this bag could have fit under the seat. We would have preferred not to check the bag because it had everything in it we needed access to like medication, ear buds, book, tablet, it also contained my Jewlery and various other things. The lady was extremely rude when I told her I prefer not to check the bag, she said we could take everything out of the bag we needed but that would have been 70 % of what was in the bag, where was I supposed to put all this stuff? My small purse was already full. my husband was upset at her treatment and said something to her and she told us we where welcome to book another flight. I paid a hell of a lot of money on this flight alone plus upgraded our seats with extra legroom. Once on the plane the seating was so crammed, uncomfortable and no legroom. My seat reclined but my husbands did not. I will never fly American Airlines again."
Pros: "The crew"
Cons: "I just don’t understand how a flight can be delayed three hours from weather the day before. And, of course, we arrived and there was no gate for us. They had three hours to have a gate ready for us. AA fail!"
Pros: "New, clean plane"
Cons: "Food was horrible. Salad 90% celery chunks, and beef that was 90% gristle. I paid extra for more leg room but got a bulkhead seat that had less leg room , and cramped, hard to access table and video screen."

Cons: "Too many PA announcements and the volume when connected to the TV screens was way too loud! Gave us a heart attack everytime!"

Cons: "No entertainment (tv wasn't working), FAs doing the bare minimum. No help even when traveling with a small child."
Cons: "We were stuck in the plane at the boarding gate for 2.5 hrs with no water or food or able to get off and wait in the airport. This caused us to miss our connecting flight and not make it to Iceland causing us to lose hundreds of dollars in accommodation and car rental etc fees in Iceland. American dis nothing about it."
Pros: "Standard AA domestic flight. Once we were boarded and underway, things were fine. Crew was friendly, the aircraft was cleaned on the turn from the prior flight, and we didn't sit on the tarmac too long when arriving at DFW. Normal operations for AA domestic."
Cons: "Unfortunately, normal operations for AA domestic means boarding 20-30 minutes late, which delayed the arrival a bit. In general, AA could provide more accurate updates and boarding information for their flights. For example, if the inbound aircraft arrives at the time my flight should be boarding, I want to see an updated departure time, rather than maintaining the "on time" status right up until five minutes before the new boarding time. Generally it takes 25-30 minutes to turn the plane for the next outbound flight."
Pros: "Easy. Efficient. Crew follows regulations and applies rules fairly and firmly."
Cons: "Signage unclear no ticket less check-in cpfisong announcers are rude in person and inaudible over PA system."
Cons: "Now pay significant more for carry on bags for another mediocre airline where it is not significantly cheaper."
Pros: "Like my AA rides > 90% of the time. The usual prob is sketchy gogo service."

Pros: "Good entertainment choices, boarding in both the front and rear of the plane was great - it's common sense to board both when available or to at least board the rear of the plane first."

Cons: "Aweful experience. I waited for hours in the airport because there was no plane available. thank you for wasting my time. No food served on my first class flight. All airport restaurants closed down so no food available and yet American airlines left me stranded and hungry."
Cons: "Arrived in Charlotte and tried to get on an earlier flight to Richmond. Was willing to pay a change fee. Even though there were empty seats, I was told that change fee was unavailable for my reservation. I talked to 3 different people on the phone and was given 3 different reasons as to why. 3 different gate people also said there was nothing they could do and there were no supervisors to help. Another person at the counter (who I believe was a supervisor) was able to override and get me on the 2nd (of 3 flights with empty seats)."
