We had premium economy seats - felt like business class other than reclining level of the seats. Pretty good value!!"

Pros: "Appreciated check in staff who professionally answered our requests re routine steps to process check in. Only regretted that we weren’t aware (perhaps we missed announcement) that my husband who is still recovering from knee surgery was not aware we could have boarded from the forward entrance and avoid the descent and ascent via rear entry."

Cons: "Flight was delayed and the informati N at the gate kept changing. Regular announcements that we would board in 10 Minutes. And hen we didn’t and then another announcement of 10 minutes etc Process was confusing. Four different lines with signage that was too low to be seen by anyone except those who were up front. Employees were flustered and having arguments on phone in presence of those boarding. Led to more chaos and uneasiness"

Pros: "The entire crew was excellent in all areas and all the time even on a 14 hour flight that had been delayed for about 20 hours."
Cons: "When we arrived in Auckland very late, Air New Zealand out me up in a third rate hotel in a very bad part of the city with little to no communication on how to get back to the airport the next day. The customer service number I was given, was mo help at all. Flights were great, but the way they handled the unexpected was very poorly done."

Cons: "We were not able to select our seats and didn’t realize we had received the seat and bag fare. We only received a cup of water and were seated in the next to last row, often overlooked and not acknowledged."
Pros: "I was feeling motion sick and several flight attendants went out of their way to help me feel better. I wish I knew their names as I would specifically mention them, but I really appreciate everything they did for me during that time."

Pros: "The staff lady told me to there’s no food available then I told I need to buy it last time my flight was Jetstar was good even everyone can buy food on board but leta I called Chinese lady understood how I was hungry she brought me bread with batter and coffee that’s was good and best service I always thank to her service"

Pros: "Had premium economy and on such a short flight is luxury. Boarding via the stairs as it's an island was good. Crew are always great. PE is pretty comfy on NZ. This was a day flight so we didn't sleep. Food was great. Great range of entertainment options but can't wait for Wifi!"

Pros: "Courteous crew members and nice aircraft. New technology at check-in allows faster drops off for luggage! Replaces face time with real people (jobs) but it's also very futuristic. Flight attendant brought water very quickly when I requested it on my screen not knowing it if would work."

Pros: "Very Innovative. Love the Premium Economy seats. And unlike many other airlines that do Premium Economy the food is not just economy food. It is far better and as good as anything you get in Business."
Pros: "Slightly better seats & slightly more leg room than other airlines. Crew was pleasant and efficient despite 12+ hour flight with turbulence."
Cons: "Too close to "neighbors" ie seats too close together--it is hard to eat without poking or being poked by the person on either side...even when seats are in upright position."
Pros: "The service in Premium Economy was outstanding with two dedicated and attentive staff members. The food was excellent and drinks served in real glass made a difference. the space was generous, seats comfortable, and pillows and blankets of a higher quality than economy. Overall a superior experience."

Cons: "Wasn't aware that on this international flight we needed to do something more to get the basic services. Evidently there are classes of fares that don't rate basic food and drinks. Felt like steerage class. After they rebooted their system we were able to finally order and pay for food and drinks. Never been treated this poorly on an Air New Zealand flight."
