I understand and don't want food on a short trip, but tea and coffe (at least 1 cup) should be free. Nevertheless there was water available and the crew was nice.

Reliable, great value, but not outstanding in any aspect. This is similar to the experience you get in most international carriers like Etihad or Delta.

On board was excellent—a remarkable positive change. Check in was horrifying. Forced to check in branded cabin baggage approved bags weighing 10 and 12 kgs each, because desk insisted these were not fit for overhead lockers. Got charged £160 for two bags. Behaviour of staff was hostile, motivated and rude. Wonder if BA pays commissions on collection, or borrows staff from Airport operator. Basle evidently is an airport used by budget airline— and customers are treated like consumers.

Flight delayed and we were forced to check our carryon bags which was huge inconvenience.

Since I did not get an opportunity to review the trip from Los Angeles to Barcelona with British Airways operated by Iberia, I will add comments here. That experience was not good. Iberia placed me on a plane/airline called LEVEL - it was a bad experience and I will not be travelling with a company I do not know about. The difference in service and comfort from British Airways to Iberia/LEVEL was like night and day. I was very disappointed...I paid a lot of money for the tickets to be so uncomfortable while flying for hours over the ocean. The experience with British Airways was excellent, what I was expecting it to be for a trip of this length...I think being partner with airlines that provide poor service could affect the British Airways' image...

Horrible seat allocation. Boarding was slow. Food was average and so was entertainment. The TV terminal didn't work and so had to use remote.

Both mine and my husband's chairs were broken. Also it took 2 hours to get our bags after our flight which was wild.

There was water leaking from the bathroom in the carpet outside the bathroom in the BA flight from Chennai to London and the foot rest was breaking down

Crew was great. Flight was quick . BUT boarding was outside, down and up steps w carryon. Upon arrival we were on tarmac for 45 minutes due to no buses for terminal, more than 30 of us missed our connection. Exhausting.
