Months out my flight was cancelled and I was rebooked onto a later flight that would have made us miss all of our transfers to our honeymoon on Fitzroy Island. Because I had booked through 'a 3rd party' Qantas refused to assist me. I managed to convince budget air to change our flights. We were moved to a jetstar flight from Melbourne to cairns. I had to confirm that this had occurred and go through multiple people online to reallocate seats and food options for my husband and myself again. Only my luggage allowance was carried across to jetstar and neither of our meal allowances were. When it came to online check-in with jetstar I could not check my husband in online only myself. I spoke to multiple people online who all confirmed they didn't know why or there was no problem and we should just present ID and check in in person. When we got to the airport Qantas had not transferred the e-ticket code across for my husband's booking and this is why we could not check him in online. The jetstar staff had to try to get his original booking code from Qantas. As it turned out I had to original booking code through budget Air in my hand and had to assert this information to staff. Flying back we were able to check in online fine with Qantas. Our boarding passes printed different sizes but did not present a problem when we dropped off our luggage. When we sent to check in the staff member couldn't get the smaller pass to read and my husband had to assert that he also had it on his phone. Despite all of my online conversations the aisle seat was allocated to me and not my husband who required it because of a medical condition and the flight was 30min delayed. We won't be traveling with Qantas or jetstar, or booking through budget Air again."

Pros: "We had an amazing crew from Sydney to Perth from the Captain on down. They were courteous, professional, intuitive and extremely helpful. Of the 3 legs on our long journey this crew was the best."

Cons: "Qantas left our luggage in Sydney. Once we were in Koh Samui it was up to Bangkok Airways to sort it out. The file reference we were given wasn't recognised by the Qantas website, the three phone numbers in Bangkok just gave a 'number disconnected' message and one was no answer. We had to cancel a planned event on day two and shop for clothes for a specific activity on day three. The only way to make contact with Qantas was via Instagram, Luggage did appear but so far no contact or apology from Qantas. We will not fly with Qantas again. Virgin Australia is our carrier of choice who outperform Qantas in every respect. This flight was gifted so we had no choice."

Cons: "Our international flight was delayed by over 2 hours. When we called to rebook our connection flight from Brisbane to Cairns, the agent on the phone told us they were unable to help us. The online website also did not allow us to rebook. When we got to Brisbane, the only flight remaining for us was a flight 2hours later with connection. Also, the phone jack was so poor that half of the time you couldn’t hear the movie."

Pros: "The Qantas lounge in Singapore is very nice. Nothing special relative to some others like Cathay, but lots of showers and good food are the key for a stopover, and the Qantas Lounge has that. The meal options are better out of Singapore than coming in to Singapore, The "order ahead" breakfast concept, where you place your order for breakfast when you board has it pros and cons. The personal service is nice, but one needs to know almost 12 hours ahead of time what they feel like eating. Overall a positive, but for me, it's hard for me to anticipate my appetite. It was my first A380 flight (together with the Sydney - Singapore leg), and overall I was disappointed relative to the Dreamliner. Yet it stands out as a positive the way that Qantas has configured business class on the upper deck. It's quite peaceful."

Cons: "Flight was switched to United airlines so the confirmation number did not work and we could not check in on line. Food was the worst I have had on a flight."

Pros: "My daughter traveled as an unaccompanied minor overseas and was taken care of reasonably well. The staff in LAX were not as friendly but then I am just glad that everything was handled for her at such a young age being taken through such a big place. My daughter said she slept very little overnight due to a rude passenger who was talking very loudly and using a phone. But over all she was happy with the in-flight entertainment and I was pleased with the amount of baggage allowed at no extra fee."
Cons: "The staff were a bit impatient and rushed. Didn't seem to notice the actions of rude passengers."

Pros: "Very friendly cabin crew. Sufficient food, quite tasty."
Cons: "Extra charge for spirits. Only beer or wine complimentary. Poor headphones and image quality so overall entertainment mediocre."

Cons: "It appears united is unable to fly their planes on times, in particular on the East Coast. We were delayed by 90min on each legs"

Pros: "United seems to have simplified how it separates the boarding groups, so getting on the plane was well organized. The 787 aircraft was spacious and comfortable, which seems to put both passengers and crew in a good mood. Lots of entertainment options were available, so the three hour flight flew by. And we arrived early! A great experience on United."

Cons: "Sat on tarmac in United plane at destination (Denver) from 2:40 pm to 3:35 pm. Waiting on a gate to unload...just long enough to miss my 3:30 pm United connecting flight. Why couldn’t United have delayed the connecting flight a few minutes knowing we were sitting in another of their planes just a few feet away?"

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "They delayed so long that I had to reschedule for another day. This is after watching planes to other possible locations take off before United would switch peoples tickets. This was after a 4 hour layover completely disappeared. They should have been able to reroute planes or something after the first 2 hours of delays since it was for a weather phenomena that gives tons of warning (at least 24 hours)."

Cons: "Lufthansa as an agent is a mistake! I had to deal with them prior to flying to the US. I have never ever had to deal with such bad service in my entire life. United was great though and I highly recommend them."

Pros: "Despite sitting in the middle seat and being well over 6 feet, there was room."

Pros: "The TV shows and movie collection is good."
Cons: "Horrible food, no complimentary drinks on economy plus seats. UNITED lost my luggage again (2nd time this year)."

Cons: "laberithine process to get my boarding pass. Booked on Kayak with last minute on a Luthanasa flight operated by United. Basically had to call all three in order to get my boarding passes as the website didn’t work. Really confusing."

Cons: "Ignorant, rude air hostess, two male hostess, double act the pair of them, if they had of been recorded they would be first today. As I said in my headline, if you hate your job that much find one that makes you happy, United need to do secret shopper experiences on their planes, to quality check their hostess, this cowboys are representing your company and its not good."

Cons: "Was charged $150 for a lap child traveling from us to Mexico. Did not expect this since we called prior to the flight To ask of any fees."

Cons: "My United connecting flight was delayed. I rushed to arrive at the gate prior to the departure time to be told the plane had left early and I had been rescheduled to the next morning at 7am. However, there were no vouchers available for me to stay in a hotel or get food. So, I was able to get a flight on American that got me home the same night. By the way, the American flight was delaying takeoff to wait for passengers who had been delayed on their connecting flights."

Pros: "Although I arrived a few minutes late, the check-in agent managed to get my bag on the flight. When I missed my flight, the agent quickly got me on another flight (with a competitor airline), with no additional charge."
Cons: "The short (10 minute) boarding window contributed to me missing my flight (by a few minutes). Very annoying."

Cons: "Gate personnel was unable to direct my 77 year old mother where package claim was. Being unable to go to the gate without a ticket I was unable to assist her. She wandered for about 35 minutes before I could decipher where she was at and was able to direct her by phone. The gate personnel just told her to follow everyone else. What a thing to say to someone."

Pros: "All the staff (both at the terminal and on the flight) were all extremely friendly and helpful and very efficient."
