Cons: "I have encountered missing documents before departure in Singapore to KL. The check in crews very helpful, their knowledge to assist me boarding smoothly. My appreciation towards all crews who have helped me this morning ( SQ106) Big THANK YOU to you ALL."

Cons: "Flight was canceled. They moved passengers to the Lufthansa but didn’t tell us even though we checked with the counter every 20 min. Apparently a text went out that we didn’t get"

Cons: "Aircrew took my carry on away while I was waiting to board saying it was too large; left me without the essential items I wanted during the 19.5 hours in the air and two plane changes. Other people were allowed to keep carry ons bigger than mine so I don't understand why they did this."

Pros: "The crew is not so amazing and the food is not so good.They only serve pork and sea food..i don't eat those food for my religion and i asked for another food anything as long as i had something for im starving, for they never had another food to give? You mean i cannot have food while boarding the plane? Im starving and they don't gibe us any food to eat even if i asked them if theres anything . And that is a total not agreeable we are 3 people riding the plane myself and my kids and we did not have anything to eat. The crew is rude when I asked something instead of looking for another food is theres any. I paid for my flight including the food and i was not able to eat."

Just to be clear, this was NOT QANTAS. It was American Airlines. Never flying with them again.

I liked that the flight was operated by Emirates - very friendly staff, excellent service. Improvements - Boeing 777-300ER has very narrow seating compared to A380 which is much more comfortable for long flights.

Pros: "Food"

Cons: "Entertainment screen is too small, and touch panel reaction is so late."

Cons: "The flight from Cairns to JFK that I originally purchased was supposed to be 7 hours of travel time less than what I actually ended up with. The airline changed my flights 4 times after originally booking."

Pros: "One member of the crew did her best to treat me as a premium FF member. That was about it."

Cons: "Qantas really screwed up the operational management of this flight resulting in a long delay into Sydney and then a further delay to Brisbane. Getting the water weight and balance right is FLIGHTOPS 101, but not for this B Team. Much of the flight delay was completely avoidable."

Cons: "less use of single use plastics. air canada could become a pioneer and use compostavle plastics or better yet the new paper box water bottles!"

Cons: "We came from a week of 45° heat to air conditioning with misting capability, very impressive, loved it. But l got very cold, my own fault didn't a ask for a blanket quick enough."

Pros: "Expected more, newer plane, champagne was good."

Cons: "Service slow, chairs are too firm, no storage with seats. The entire experience is just OK"

Cons: "The airport closure wasn't PALs fault but the absolute lack of organisation and an attitude "act of God so look after yourself" is disgusting. Flying business expected some service but had nothing and they smiled and said they rebooked me 16 days later. Other airlines would book you on different carriers but not PAL. Last time no matter what special deal they offer."

Pros: "This flight is extremely long, but very enjoyable when flying with Qantas. They have everything, from snacks and drinks in the back of the plane to coming by pretty often to give you food. I was never hungry or upset wth the service."

Pros: "The technical aspects of the flight were fine. Boarding, the flight, and the aircraft. Very nice plane."

Cons: "The crew was not very friendly and it didn’t seem like there were enough staf for such a large plane. It took a long time to get our first meal, and the food was terrible in comparison to other flights, even other China air flights we’ve been on. We could not understand the English announcements as she was not a fluent speaker. I would probabalynavoid flying with China air again."

Found a more comfortable seat for me and boarded me first. I wish I could remember his name, he only has a two initials name."

Pros: "Friendly airline staff. Ease of obtaining boarding pass at the counter. Clean, modern aircraft. Thanks China Airlines!"

Cons: "As with all airlines, the "the hurry up and wait" processes associated with getting onto the plane are tiring."

Cons: "- The check-in counters opened at least 30 minutes late. The agents arrived late, they seemed to be having a good time and didn't feel the need to explain the reason for the delay nor apologize for it. - On my flight to Manila from Los Angeles, I did not check in any luggage. I had a carry-on and a backpack that fit perfectly well into the overhead bins and underneath the front seat. On my flight from Manila to Los Angeles, I was not allowed to take the same set on board because the total weight exceeded 7 kg. This put me in a bind because the heaviest item I had was my small LCD monitor which was in my backpack. I had to put it into the carry-on with wheels which I had to be checked-in. I would have prepared to carry it in my backpack because it is a fragile item. When I was told to sign a document that absolves the carrier of any liability for the checked-in luggage and I refused, the China Airlines Duty Officer in Manila informed me that unless I sign the document, my luggage will not be loaded on the plane. I felt extremely frustrated by the attitude of the Duty Officer who didn't hesitate to threaten me and insisted that the rule was imposed on them by the TSA in the US. Instead of helping me work out a solution to the difficulty I was facing, he simply walked away with a dismissive attitude."

Pros: "Crew very helpful in helping me make my connection in Guangzhou when our flight was late."

Cons: "Dingy waiting area separated from terminal. Boarding is random once it starts. Food was like 1980s airplane food."

Cons: "Where are my bags ? So my bag was on the flight but it’s been 2 hours and no bag ? Talk about ruining the whole travel experience because after a 16 hour flights your bag isn’t here and no one seems to know what happened . So they have you waiting 2 hours diiddling yourself and no one has any information . Go China southern yeah ! NOT"

Pros: "Polite cabin crew."

Cons: "Lost my check-in luggage - still not returned after 4 days. Broke my expensive checked-in suitcase on the first leg of the trip. (No reimbursement for loss or damage.) Leads you through online check-in but denies allowing you to complete it. Could not reserve any seats (for 4 international flights) ahead of airport check-in. Forced to give up my assigned seat to accommodate someone else. No customer service contact phone number (in English) that works. Poorly designed website - difficult to locate and utilize options."

Pros: "Plane left late from Manila and was asked to run to catch the connecting flight to LAX. Monitor did not work. Flight attendant/s were rude whenever their asking to stow away foot rest. Never say please. When I got to LAX, I needed to wait for the very last luggage for me to find out that my luggage was left in Guangzhou. No apologies whatsoever and was given a direction to file a report. Very sad experience."

Cons: "Focus on customer service. More training with staff since they are dealing with different nationalities."

Pros: "In general, the service is OK, but not outstanding. Try to do better!"

Cons: "There is still room for improvement. Flight attendants need to be better trained in dealing with passengers. Spend the time to "listen" thoroughly instead of saying "OK I know" & then fuffill the passengers request. Sometimes, little details matter, even they did the job right. Try to do better!"

Cons: "We had to stay overnight in Guangzou because our connecting flight to Los Angeles left already coz of delays."

Cons: "The flight was delayed for 2 hours and nobody from to Los Angeles has already left us. They said it was due to bad weather, but from what I saw there was only a little rain when we arrived. I think their using it as an excuse to justify their poor service."

Cons: "The gates between arrival and departure terminals are so far apart that if you have a short layerover and your plane is running late you might miss your connecting flight"

Cons: "The seating. The plane comfort. Unable to understand the words of the crew ( I speak English but the accent is difficult to interpret)."

Cons: "Unable to use Mobil check- in asked at ticket counter for a forward seat next to exit doors because I am a tall person over 6’3 ended up aisle seat that had issues maintaining a locked upright position plane left 35 min late"
