MY travel plans were canceled and l tried thru KAYAK and Quantas to cancel this flight and was not able to confirm cancelation but still received flight boarding. l tried to get refunded thru Kayak and that has been horrible long unreasolved task now l am trying to go thru Credit card. with this Covid changing world, airlines and travel companies should be refundable especially since this is a Australian airlines. l am about to lose $1000.00.

Cons: "Love that they fly an a380 into christchurch - a bit overkill but was told it is cheaper to overnight the plane in christchurch vs Sydney or Melbourne"

Cons: "Hour and half taking off, many seats were unusable because of a chute malfunction"

Cons: "I changes flights to leave out of Sydney instead. I ended up paying 304.00 in change fee even thought i booked flight using 80,000 miles reward travel still was charged to change the flight"

Pros: "Crew were super helpful. Have flown with other airlines, but have to say Qantas crews are very professional and helpful. They go that extra mile."

Cons: "It really had to do with parents not controlling their kids and allowing them to play spongebob on the iPad without headphones. I used the wraps and eye mask that were provided so it all ended up being a great flight in the end."
Cons: "We boarded very late, and had no place to wait at the gate (it was locked off) and got no explanation. My headrest broke off midflight. There were no good vegetarian options on the flight, and the entertainment system was very old and hard to see."

Cons: "Flying on 8 Jan is a time when there a lot of holiday makers heading home or perhaps just going on holiday. Lots of young children and a baby crying right behind me wasn't the most relaxing but I realise that nothing can be done about that."
Pros: "Not much to like other than access to Cathay pacific lounge at SFO Over booked about 50 seats fights in the aisles security on board blamed on a computer glitch delayed over 2 1/2 hours Business class old uncomfortable seats. After flying Singapore business last week I was appalled at what quantas had for the same price I’m dreading my flight back home on quantas I won’t fly them again"

Cons: "The chairs had very uncomfortable seats, the arms did not go up all the way, so limited laying down. The food was overall poor and not very rapid service. Also for such an empty flight they ran out of menu options quickly. I believe our flight was not on a qantas plane but American airlines, which I suspect had something to do with the difference from previous qantas flights which were much nicer."

Pros: "Was able to quickly check in and get through security. The front counter staff were friendly and efficient. Minimal waiting to board."
Cons: "The plane was filthy. My seat was sticky and covered in what appeared to be food of some sort. Flight attendant wiped it off, but it wasn't clean by any means. The seat belts were twisted and had food and crud stuck to them. When I changed my clothes the next day, there was food and stains on my black pants from where I sat on the dirty seats."

Pros: "Premium Economy was a good upgrade for me, it really helped on my way to my destination so I could sleep on the flight and then start my day when we landed. The Movie & Menu selection was enjoyable. This was a good flight with an attentive and courteous crew!"
Cons: "Overall, the cabin could use some updates. Seats feel's very 1980's. The older LCD screens generate a lot of heat and wash out the picture a bit, there are better LED/OLED options for airlines on the market."
Pros: "Big, safe plane. The pilot striving to land us close to the originally-scheduled time, even though we boarded the plane an hour late. He did it! A++ to Qantas for providing a spigot at the back of the plane to refill water bottles, thus lessening the amount of plastic used."

Food was better on Bangkok Air 1 hour flight. Breakfast, a pastry in a box and a muffin on a serviette. No fruit or yogurt ... nothing else. awful Couple of times crew were rude to other passengers (not myself) but generally were not as happy, helpful as previous Qantas flights Smaller plane with less seatroom than my Emirates flight in the other direction"

Cons: "One negative experience was that there was only 1hr 30mins between connecting flights. Between departing international flight - picking up luggage/toilet stop and clearing Immigration/Customs then catching bus between Qantas international domestic terminals we were racing to catch flight. As we arrived Qantas domestic terminal our names were being called over along with info the plane was awaiting our arrival. In my experience 2hrs is minimum time between connecting flights - otherwise good experience."
Pros: "As I stated previously, I am blind and found the special assistance Qantas offers invaluable. Every crew member I interacted with was polite, thoughtful, warm, attentive, and extremely helpful."

Cons: "There was a child in a car seat in the seat behind me and she kicked my seat for the first few hours. At that point the parents turned her seat around and it was easier to fly. The window seat is usually my preference but strangely enough there is so much of a gap between the seat and the "wall" and window that i constantly lost my pillow in the slot"
