Our trip was Lisbon-Frankfurt- Bangalore. When we reached Lisbon Check in there was not anybody at the Lufthansa counter. There was one and a half-hour delay before the aircraft left Frankfurt. The less said about the food the better. I had an Eco Saver ticket. Does it mean that beggars cannot be choosers' type of attitude to passengers is the order of the day?
Short haul flight. Not much comfort given, not much needed.
Sadly! I had a Terrible experience. My daughter got super sick few hours before our departure and hospitalized. Unfortunately I couldn’t able to fly back to USA on that day. I did go to the airport and let them know that I have a serious emergency and can’t fly. Kayak didn’t help at all or made any adjustments to get a new date. I had to purchase new tickets. I’m so disappointed!

If the customer speaks English, do not assume they don't understand German - so please treat your passengers well. Food was not good, have had better on Lufthansa"

Pros: "They were average in terms of comfort and crew. You can only get so conofortable in economy class and the crew did what they were expected to. I did feel that my empty meal tray was left on my table for quite some time though."
Cons: "We had no individual entertainment on the flight, only very old CRT screens hanging from the ceiling, circa 1995. They did show movies but the sound quality was poor and my headphone jack did not work so I had to share with my husband. They offered no explanation for this, since their website clearly promises individual screens for international flights. When asked, the FA simply said "this isn't our usual plane for these types of flights." However, we had the same issue when flying to Frankfurt with them, so the company seems to just be lying. The food can barely pass as food. Everything was ice cold except the main dinner entree, even the bread. The only vegetable available throughout our 8+ hour flight was shredded carrots absolutely swimming in mayonnaise. The boarding process was exceedingly slow and they would not allow use of cell phones for boarding passes, although their check in provides the attachments. This required probably 1/4 of those boarding to have to step aside to another line for a paper copy. Again, no apologies or explanations from the company. Overall, I wish I had shopped around a bit more and chosen another airline. International flying is supposed to be somewhat enjoyable, even in economy class. Instead, this was the longest 8+ hours of my life."

Cons: "Being asked, when other passengers were around me, how much money I cary with me. This is a dangerous thing. I don't know whom I travel with, and I felt at risk knowing that other people know how much cash I have with me. Plus, the money were counted on the passageway to the plane, with people walking by. I strongly believe that you should change the method you ask and check passengers for cash. I heard other details that I shouldn't hear from another women who was also checked. What I ask is PRIVACY."

Cons: "It took over an hour to drop off a bag prior to boarding. I had already checked in online. There were long lines in Bucharest and simply not enough staff working the Lufthansa desks."
Pros: "The flight itself was fine, about what you'd expect from a short-duration flight on a major airline."
Cons: "I wished to change to an earlier flight with plenty of seats available. the Lufthansa ticket agent stated the only way, as I had booked a "light" fare, was to pay a full-price one-way economy ticket--plus luggage--for about 380 euros with no credit for my current ticket. After booking a day-room at a local hotel, I checked in on-line and discovered for 115 euros I could have upgraded to business class, with luggage included, and been accommodated on schedule changes. My suggestion to Lufthansa is if they intend to rip their customers off it's best NOT TO LET THEM FIND OUT ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE, or if they're simply too incompetent to match marketing offers to their booking department they could save considerable income and reputation by closing the ticket office. As it was, the impression was a low-class money grab. It's not like they can count on their partnership with United to make them look good."

Cons: "Small caps, small liquid amounts was served. They cut back in to water, soda, juice, coffee, leaving the travelers loosing body-water!! The food was cheap and cliche!!"
Cons: "They only had two meal options and the ran out of the vegetarian option. There were many people on the flight that didn't get a meal or had to take the meat option when they would have preferred the pasta."
Pros: "The crew was great, food options were solid so was entertainment"
Cons: "I purchased online usage and was charged but wasn't able to access online services at all. I asked the crew if they could refund me but they were unable to help me out. So I was charged $25 for a service I was unable to use and unfortunately I was counting on being able to use the online service for work."
Pros: "Plenty of overhead bin space, comfortable seats, headphones were fantastic."
Cons: "Crew was pretty much non-existent and only came around about twice to serve drinks or food, and they were not super friendly."
