Cons: "In this fairly new plane, the rows of seats are so close together, the leg room is minimal. When the tray is lowered, you feel completely squashed in the seat. The food trays are not picked up quickly after eating."

Cons: "Plane condition: Cosmetic plastic panel below monitor and seat back pocket on Seat 31E fell off when foot rest was lowered; had previously been secured by adhesive tape. Panel removed by crew. In-flight entertainment system: Persistent intermittent loss of sound while listening to movie or TV program. Food: Tried to use "Book the Cook" feature touted by Singapore's website. Was unable to get on site for that purpose. The last try a message appeared (late September) that site was being "rebuilt." On the flight, there was no menu of choices; we were offered 3 vaguely worded choices which boiled down to beef, chicken or vegetables. Those appeared in not particularly appetizing forms and combinations--P.S., we like east and southeast Asian cooking and had just spent 3 weeks in Japan. Failure to provide information about possible delays due to WRG deplaning location at LAX: Although we are frequent fliers to and from LAX, we'd never heard of the WRG. It would have been helpful if the crew had informed us upon arrival that there could possibly be a wait on the plane as buses were used to transport us approximately 1/2 mile to TBIT. Generally: We chose Singapore because of its reputation for excellence. Belying the name of the class, both Turkish AL and Air NZ treated Premium Economy passengers as "junior" business class. Singapore treated us as coach with a roomier cabin and seating pitch."

There was an amazing selection of movies and they refilled my drinks without even asking. I would recommend this airline to anyone traveling to Asia."

Pros: "Delayed flight from Shanghai due to air traffic issues, so I had a 10 minute window to make my connection in Singapore. Ground staff was waiting for me with a small car after I disembarked to drive me to the gate. And I somehow made my connection. Excellent service. Obviously my checked bag didn't make it, but I was told in advance and was kept updated before boarding and immediate after I disembarked at my final destination. When I went to the baggage service counter, they were already ready for me, had filled out my paperwork, and just needed an address to confirm the delivery of my suitcase. I'm super impressed to this attention to detail."

Crew unresponsive with drink and food requests, I had to ask for services multiple times on several occasions. Pressing my 'attendant button' my light was lit for 10 minutes before a crew member noticed. My first trip on Singapore, my expectations were not met. Shame"

Cons: "We were supposed to fly back to Los Angeles from Tokyo on Wednesday, August 24th. We got to Tokyo Narita a little later than planned due to the Narita Express train being delayed. I had received emails that our flight had changed gates, and was then delayed, but when my sister and I went to check into our flight, we were told we were unable to board because it was too late. I thought it was absurd because the flight had not even started boarding, and I had gotten an email saying it was delayed. We tried to reason with them, but they would not let us on the flight. It was imperative that we got back to Los Angeles on Wednesday, but all our plans were ruined due to them bumping us off the flight. My sister had a connecting flight to Boston, which she then had to reschedule and was charged for. We were stuck another night in Tokyo, where we had to spend money on a hotel. The Singapore Airlines attendants eventually informed us that we could get on a flight the next day. This delayed us by 24 hours, which was highly inconvenient. It was also especially unnecessary since due to the flight being delayed, we would have absolutely been able to make it. I do not appreciate being bumped off of a flight due to airlines wanting to make more money, especially being stuck overseas. Its not like it was a domestic flight where we could just hop on another one in the next few hours, this totally derailed all of our plans. I do not appreciate the inflexibility of the Singapore Airlines agents, and this is not an experience that makes me want to recommend flying with Singapore Airlines. I appreciate that they did not charge us, however it was a major inconvenience that could have simply been avoided by better customer service and understanding."

Pros: "The second I boarded the plane i realised that Qantus Australia practices number one customer service. Every hostess greeted everyone always with a smile and politeness. The crew were simply fantastic. The new airbus 380 was very comfortable and a perfect flight. Amazing."

Flights were punctual and aside from major delays, went as planned. The kindness and responsiveness of the crew made the flight more bearable. What can I say? Everything went very smoothly. To me, a sign of competent management and good work ethic among Qantas employees. Very impressed. Good job Aussies!"

Pros: "Very little. Even though I'm sure I wasn't suppose to, my seat allowed me to put my feet up on the wall. At least I was able to elevate them a bit."
Cons: "First, the flight was delayed an hour and a half. No gate was announced until just before boarding. Afraid of missing my flight, I didn't doze even though I had been awake for 20 hours at this point. Once I got on the plane, the seats were so small in economy my hips were pressed against the arm rests and I am not a large person. The man next to me was pressing through over to my side. We both had difficulty opening the tray for meals because they were in the arm rests (not that it mattered, we were never served good). The controls for the entertainment and lights were in the arm rests as well and there was no way to see them because your thighs were pressed against them. The screen for my entertainment was crooked and flickered. The charging port did not work for my cell phone. The earphone jack had to be wiggled and wiggled and then I had to hold my leg perfectly still not to bump it. I eventually gave up trying to use the entertainment screen. I preordered my meal online, but waiting for dinner, already exhausted, I dozed off. I didn't get dinner and no one came around the rest of the trip and offered any refreshments. No water, no snack, nothing. As a matter of fact, I'm not sure I saw a crew member for the rest of the flight."

Pros: "The crew was pleasantly pleasent when passengers make mistakes but firm as need, thus getting what needed done as pleasantly as possible."
Cons: "Entertainment system was stuck and stay stuck on kids program and system had no way to get back to main entry point. Software programmers had either failed to put in a "home" icon / link on the Kids home page. Also, turning system off, and leaving it off for 3+ minutes did not do so either; this likely a failure of software designers to specific such or system itself not functioning per design."

Cons: "I had a flight Auckland-London, booked through Emirates but operated by Qantas. The flight got to London with a delay of 2 hours 20 min, because they made us wait 2 hours 20 min more than planned in Dubai, where incidentally all the other Emirates flights had no delay, only our Qantas one. This made me lose my next flight (to Luxembourg) and have to pay for a new flight and stay that night in London. Since I had booked them separately, no one helped or offered any compensation."

I am only 5 feet 7 and my knees were close to the seat in front, I am not fat but the tray table was touching my stomach. I dread to think how anyone ate the food if they are 15 stone or more, I guess the table rest on the stomach and the food has to be held on.. The food wasn't good, I asked for a vegetarian meal but got bland vegan food - no cheese or dairy even though those are vegetarian. Next time I will not order a special meal and just get the standard vege meal and risk that they have one for me. Flight crew were OK, some of the instructions about electronic devices were garbled and unclear, especially about the use of laptops."

Cons: "Flight delayed & on a 2+ hr flight you don’t give anything free to drink. What a sorry airline. Not even human."

Pros: "Its hard to consider a flight where you got bumped up from premium economy to business as anything other than a 10!"
Cons: "The dining choices in the terminal British Airways uses are dismal. I am not sure British Airways has any input to this but the line in arrivals for US passport holders was approximately 2.73 miles long while the line for UK/EU passports was perhaps 40 feet long - not a very welcoming situation. Perhaps a little pressure applied by the major airline could improve this situation."

Cons: "I paid to upgrade my seat and another passenger sat there and refused to move so I had to sit on the opposite side of the row causing me discomfort the entire flight. I have a titanium leg on my right side and always sit in a seat that allows me to stretch my leg right side of aisle. Very dissatisfied"

Cons: "Extremely cold on board ,, no control of a.c. After boarding we got a breakfast bar and a drink. Nothing more till morning, then the breakfast was horrible."

Pros: "Once I was actually at a boarding person to be checked in, the process was quick"
Cons: "Announcement was made to all passengers inn rows 20-40 or so to line up, which we did. Then, we were told only priority passengers were to be boarding. Priority passengers asked where their linne was, and a BA crew member snappishly answered "where the sign says Priority". The sign wasn't able to be seen, and these passengers shouldn't have been faulted for BA's ineptness. After being checked in, I asked an another BA agent where to go. Upon arriving at the aircraft, I was rather frostily told "you're onn the wrong level" and pointed to the stairs. I let them know that I was on the 2nd level due to the direction of the BA staff. My seat space was reduced to a mere 12" when the passenger in front of me abruptly reclined his seat all the way back."

Pros: "Everything was good after we finally left."
Cons: "Due to mechanical issues, flight was canceled. Missed a day of our honeymoon as a result. Compensation offered as a result was unsatisfactory."

Pros: "British Airways is always my first choice when I fly. You always know what you will get and the familiarity of knowing the booking system, the lounge, the seats. All this needs to be weighed up with a disinterested crew (and I am generalising which is unfair!) and dated planes"
Cons: "The plane is dated. There was dust in the lockers, my seat got stuck and the entertainment screen was difficult to see. But my big disappointment with this the disinterest of the cabin crew. The purser sits and completes his paperwork while coffee is slowly dripping out of an overflowing disposal unit, collecting under his shoe. The cabin crew on my aisle kept on forgetting what food people ordered and if you were snoozing or not in your seat while she did her round, you missed your chance."

Cons: "Arrived on plane, pilot announced flight was completely booked, crew was short staffed and thanked us for our understanding. What?! How can a plane take off without all the crew? This was flight 49, a 777! Just prior to take off the flight attendant said I had to put away my iPad. (That's a first) Once airborne I attempted to recline my seat (32C), the button was completely pushed in to the armrest, broken. I told one flight attendant, she said she'd look into it. 20 minutes later I stopped another flight attendant, she said the cabin was completely booked & offered a seat in the very last row (which also doesn't recline!). Upright for 10 hours is not acceptable. Only 1 option for meal, other had ran out. Just prior to landing a different flight attendant said I had to put away my pillow (which was in my lap during take off & nothing was said then!) but said nothing at all about my iPad. Please ensure your flight attendants are consistent! I will not fly British Airways again."

Cons: "TV didn't work for 3 hous and it was SO HOT that many of us passages resorted to fanning ourselves with covers torn from the front of the in-flight magazine. All this for $1000. British Air, NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!"

Pros: "Got to my destination"
Cons: "The plane was from the last century. My iPhone screen is bigger than the entertainment unit in the seat in front of me... The flight was late. Service very slow."

Pros: "The staff was wonderful and went out of there way to make me comfortable"

Pros: "Good boarding, very polite. Smooth ride, and plenty of leg room (when no bag under seat in front)."
Cons: "Sitting on the isle, it was extremely cold. The air is from above on the 777, so the isle seats are the ones that receive the coldest air. I couldn't warm up, and didn't want to put on a sweater when it was +35 in Dubai."

Cons: "I had to go vegetarian, because they were out of chicken sandwiches. It may sound like a detail, but when you are traveling for 18 hours, and you did not have time for a breakfast, it makes a difference."
