Only regretted that we weren’t aware (perhaps we missed announcement) that my husband who is still recovering from knee surgery was not aware we could have boarded from the forward entrance and avoid the descent and ascent via rear entry."

My son had purchased my ticket and not bought luggage voucher. They helped me get online and buy voucher. Would recommend airline to anyone traveling in that part of world."

When I checked in on line I was not notified that I should buy the checked backs online so assumed one bag each was free. Instead we were charged $nz120. This is not acceptable and I would like a refund. Please help on this request. Thank you."

Pros: "The regional flights are nice and quick with no frills or complications. Everyone is in one cabin and you can quickly board using kiosks at the gate."
Cons: "You might want to bring a book on this flight or something as their in-flight video and adverts are all you'll really see in terms of entertainment."

Cons: "Airport personnel were very unhelpful. When I asked them a question, they told me to come back later. I came back at the time they said to and they told me they don’t have time for me. I need to come back another time. I went to another gate agent and she told be to go downstairs to the check in counter for help. That would have taken 2 hours. I called customer service and they answered my question quickly. I just wanted to know if I would be charged a fee to change my flight."

Cons: "For the economy passengers, we had to go down a flight of stairs onto the tarmac and then back up on a portable stairs to get onto the plane. The same was true when we were deboarding the plane. This has more to do with the airports than with Air New Zealand."

Cons: "Flight delayed. The made boarded passengers disembark and wait for an unpredictable amount of time with no updates. Then finally we boarded then the service was very poor. For example they did not remove the dishes for about three hours after serving dinner. The last straw was that they diverted to Sydney instead of the final destination Melbourne as the crew was going over 20 hrs. With the diversion they saved about 45 min , but the exhausted passengers lost another 3 hrs in their already miserable flight. Also quantas NOT friendly for people traveling with kids.... BEWARE."

Pros: "Economy cabin red-eye service Perth to Sydney included sandwich and drink soon after departure, quiet cabin with ample at-seat entertainment for those electing not to sleep on the way, and cold bottle of water immediately upon decent in the morning. Being from the US, the cabin and service level far exceeds domestic service offerings from the large US carriers. Value quickly exceeds that of low-cost carriers, especially as a checked bag is included."

Head phone jack is inside the seat arm rest which made it awkward when adjusting. No standard head phone jack but a converter is provided."

Seats are comfortable. The food is pretty good. Plus you get a menu so you know exactly what meal choices are. They go above and beyond to ensure a great flight."
