That is really unacceptable. Why wasn't the megaphone problem discovered before boarding? Is it part of normal maintenance check? who is responsible for checking. How can paperwork take that long? Fortunately, SJD was final destination for most travelers so very few if any passengers had to miss connections.

Fight crew was not very attentive and the bastions were gross!
Our second leg to Jackson WY was unable to land due to weather. We were flown back to Dallas after stopping in SLC. We were given hotel rooms and vouchers. We were told that we would be back on the same plane in the morning. Instead we were given a different flight with different seats. Not a good experience. No one knew what was going on.
No service due to turbulence. No entertainment on this type of aircraft. But nice old comfortable seats.
Need more agents to expedite check in process. Selection of movies needs to be updated to more current releases. Meal options did not reflect the route of flight; there should not be products made in the UK (bagged potato chips and mini cheese cakes) served on flights from ZRH to PHL. Business class napkins are made in China (why not USA???!!!). American Airlines should have a customer service representative greet flight in PHL. Overall, the hospitality provided on board was basic and not "above and beyond", especially for business class travelers.
Late. Then next flight was an hour late due to mx.
The flight was delayed for over three hours due to mechanical issues.
AA was domestic flights. Nothing write about home. International flights were operated by JAL, just superb!
All crews are so thoughtful, friendly and helpful to me and passengers. In flight meal was great too. I always love flying by Japan Airlines.
