Cons: "Our flight from Tel Aviv on Lufthansa was 20 minutes late. We only had 40 minutes for our connection in Frankfort but made it to the gate 5 minutes early. The gate was closed 10 minutes early and they would not let us on. There were 17 of us, 10 of which were children. They would not let us on BUT we’re able to spend 30 extra minutes at the gate, not on the tarmac, to remove all of our luggge off the plane. It would of taken them less than 10 minutes to let us in the flight. I don’t even know what to say about the complete lack of any competence."

Cons: "I fly Lufthansa several times each year. This flight was the worst I can recall. My husband and I purchased exit row seats for additional leg room only to discover that an additional row was added in front of us for people with babies. We were squished behind them with very little leg room. We were surrounded by several babies, all of them crying constantly; this was totally ignored by both the parents and the crew. I was ready to start crying loudly myself, wondering if anyone would pay attention to that. We ordered special meals online but were served regular ones. When I told the attendant that we should be getting special meals, he peevishly and defensively said "you should have told me". These meals are normally served without any special prompts, so I have no idea why he was so angry with me! The crew practically hid from all the crying babies and was avoiding our section of the plane for around six hours. No water served, no one checking on anything. Lastly, my suitcase was cracked and needs to be discarded. altogether: a horror."

The food was very tasty, and I loved that the utensils were real metal. The hot towels at the beginning and end of the flight were a nice touch. Lots of drinks too"
Cons: "The bathrooms were very small. The padding on the seat could've been better and it felt cramped when the person I front of me fully reclined their seat. Our overhead bin was used by the staff for storing cribs, so we had to use other bins."
Pros: "Clean, new aircraft with comfortable seats, excellent in flight service by the cabin crew, great selection of in-flight entertainment. Punctual departure and arrival (very smooth landing of the B747-800!!)"
Cons: "I asked at the gate in Frankfurt if I would need to show all our passports again before boarding. The Lufthansa gate agent said she didn't think they would be checked again and to just have boarding passes ready. So I packed the passports on my carryon backpack and just had our 7 boarding passes for our family. Then at the end of the jet bridge right before getting on the aircraft, two people were checking passports again. I had to unpack them from the folder in my backpack. Not a big issue, but the gate agent gave me bad information and should have known we needed boarding passes and passports for boarding."

It was just a very long day of travel."
