They greet you when you board, don't feel like a number like domestic flights in the USA be it American, Delta, United, or one of the others. They provide free premier movie access, serve a nice warm meal and drink, and make you feel welcomed - Keep up the great work Qantas, you could give the USA airlines lessons on how to treat passengers."

Cons: "First of all, they gave my boyfriend and me separate seats when I checked in online. I called and they said I had to sort it out when we arrived at the airport and they'd leave a note for staff. But when we got to the airport we were told they couldn't do anything because they can't move assigned seats even if the person hadn't checked in yet. Thankfully they managed to find us new seats at the gate. The gate was a bit ridiculous. It was at the far end of the airport and we had to take a decent bus ride to get to the plane. Once we all piled out of the buses, they still were t ready to board so we all had to wait in a line. The plane ended up leaving about an hour and a half late due to the location of the gate and the slow boarding process. Also, we checked in online but there was no expedient bag drop line for people already checked in, so we had to wait in a very long line to drop off our bags."

The ,late flight into Sydney cause us to miss our flight into Brisbane (our ticketed destination city). As we de-planed on the Jetway was a woman holding a sign with 12 - 114 names on it, we were one. She told us to go the the transfer desk and they would help us. We had never been in Sydney, could not find a transfer desk (there was none) found the ticketing counter - nobody there, found the airline office - nobody there, went back to the ticket counter nobody still there, asked a competing airline, they directed us to an air travel management office, where we found Fiji Air personnel. They were surprised we were not told where to go. they tracked down the office manager. We finally met with him at 1:40 PM, he told us our flight was in the domestic terminal and scheduled to leave at 2:00 PM. There was no way we could make it to the plane on time. He was rather rude to us and asked us how we thought we were getting to Brisbane, We responded with "I don't know as we've never been here before". Having never been there. we did not know there was an international and a domestic terminal at the Sydney airport. He told us who we were to fly out on and he was going to call over to the other airline and straighten it out. We went to the domestic terminal tried to check in for our flight, but we could not. That airline called Fiji Air to find out why, after half an hour they were told Fiji Air would not honor our flight as we were noted as "no Shows"/. We had to book another flight to Brisbane. The flights were great, we have had VERY BAD EXPERIENCES with the ground personnel,"

Plus they make you remove your blanket for take off and landing, which I've never had to do with other companies. It went from shivering to teeth chattering. I couldn't understand why they served us a hot meal when we got on the plane. Anyone boarding at 11:30 pm should have already eaten, at that point you just want to sleep, not wait another two hours for food to be served and the trays cleaned up."

After I started crying someone finally traded spots. But I didn't like that my husband's wishes over Road mine, it was misogynistic and she was a woman, a very condescending women."

I have had literally the worst airline experience of my life today with United airlines. With confirmation number BS2EL9, my flight was set to go from Atlanta to Burbank, with a connection in San Francisco. The flight from Atlanta was delayed about 10 minutes, however, they assured us that we would arrive in San Francisco at the correct time of 9:39 AM with enough time to get to our connecting flights. They lied. Whereas we did arrive in San Francisco at around 9:39 AM, the plane taxied for approximately 15 or more minutes before letting anyone off of the plane. Still, I ran to my connecting flight before it left the runway at 10:10am. However, I was not permitted to step onto the plane by the fellow at the gate at the time. He told me that because boarding time was over at 9:55a, he would not let me step on the plane even though it was still on the runway. I was upset. I went to customer service and explained my situation to them. Speaking with a girl named Krystin S., I explained that I really needed to get to Burbank on time, before 2 o'clock. Today, I had a final for school, a meeting, and interview with a job, and I had to drop my dog off at the vet for an appointment which costed around $150. Krystin told me that there was nothing she could do, and offered me only a meal voucher. I was offended, and declined the voucher. I then spoke to customer service and they told me there was nothing they could do after informing me that the flight that they switched my flight to was delayed yet another hour and I would not arrive until 350pm. This is absolutely unacceptable, and I need a remedy. Far larger than a simple meal voucher. I have lost more money by missing my flight to Burbank because of the Atlanta airport lying to me then the flight was even worth. Also, I requested to speak to someone, but the representative on the phone said they didn't have a phone number to speak to anyone which adds to the cumbersome nature of this issue. Cons: "This flight was a complete disaster. I ended up b=on a different flight to Newark, as my flight to Chicago got canceled. Then that fight was unable to land, so I spent hours in baltimore, and missed my connecting flight to Brussels. By the time I finally arrived, 4 hours late, to Newark, I had to spend 2 hours in a line to get re-book, for a flight the next night. I was compensated for all this mess with a $10 food voucher, and had to get a cab from the airport to the closest and cheapest hotel. My flight to Brussels was uneventful, save one rude flight attendant, and I got to school a day late."
Pros: "It got to me to Atlanta fine. But going back to Newark was a nightmare."
Cons: "When I checked in at Newark, I upgraded my seat from 22 B to 7B for $55. I also paid $25 for my small piece of luggage. I was told there may be a lot of suitcases and it was better to check it. When on the plane, a stewardess came up to me and asked to see my boarding pass (which was scanned when I got onto the plane.) I gave it to her and she never returned it to me. I get an EMAIL while in Atlanta, saying my seat on the flight was canceled because I was a NO SHOW on the 27th to go down to Atlanta. I had the receipt of my seat upgrade, my receipt for the checked luggage, and the tag on the luggage. I called United who said I wasn't on the plane. After a long conversation, she said she fixed it. I get to the Atlanta airport on 10/31, and I was not in the system. I had to get a supervisor and they said my seat was gone and I may not be able to get back to NJ that day. After the agent called United Headquarters, they finally got me on the plane. I was told once again I should check my luggage and shelled out another $25. I then get to the gate, and the agent at the gate was asking for 10-20 people to check their luggage for FREE. That was it for me. I will not fly United again, and have already requested that my Executive Admin's not use United and use other airlines when they book business trips because I would hate for anyone to have to go through what I did. I am 44, have been flying since I was 5, and have never had anything like this happen and don't want it to happen to anyone else I know. I was disgusted by the whole situation."

Cons: "Boarding agents and cabin crew didn't convey a friendly tone. Multiple announcements made about keeping the boarding lanes clear and roller bags needing to be checked though some space in the overheads remained available. A full flight in the same plane from Denver seems to have plenty of overhead space, but a full plane leaving Atlanta runs out early?"
Cons: "In general, all the crew and counter people are not able to say "good morning" or smile, besides a delayed flight made a really bad experience"

Cons: "A/C was not working and hot air was blowing so the whole flight felt like we were in a sauna. Everyone was sweating, children crying. Called the flight attendant and no explanation other than "we know" but sounded more like "not our problem, deal with it". They should stop saying "let us know if there is anything we can do to make you comfortable". Meaningless. United and most US airlines really need to take a step back and figure out what's there vision of service. Most of them are in deep trouble, you can tell by how dissatisfied most of their employees are. How about bringing some top notch foreign airlines to compete?"
Pros: "Smooth as silk!!! On time and my flight attendant was super attentive helping with fitting in all the carry on bags in the overheads."
Cons: "I did not like the idea of having passengers wait so long to board the plane. I already had a stressful day before arriving the airport and did not need any more delays."

Cons: "There are great entertainment options for in flight viewing, but there is no warning ahead of time that additional applications have to be downloaded in order to use them. At 30,000 feet it is impossible without paying for wifi. Also, I was actually looking forward to the little snack sized peanuts. Instead, you're given a salty trail mixed something that's seasoned very heavily. It just made me want to sneak water from the drink cart rather than curbing my hunger."
Cons: "I didn't like how my flight was cancelled only MINUTES prior to boarding time. I signed up for text alerts and received NONE about the trip cancellation. I had to rebook my flight for the next day meaning I slept at the airport. US airways had to change my flight to using Delta airlines since that was the soonest upcoming flight and they never sent me the email promised with my new itinerary, my boarding pass didn't say my gate number but they verbally told me which one it will be. Come to find out, they gave me incorrect information and I had to run to the correct gate so I could be on time. Worst experience I ever had."
Pros: "Staff was friendly and everything was timely. The operator on the phone was also great. Had the best deals for flights from Atlanta to Chicago for same day purchase."

Pros: "Hated it. No personnel for guidance or help. The One employee there was rude and non communicative Changed carousels without notification. My luggage ended up in another section of baggage and I had to walk in search occur helped by some foreign travelers from a different United flight."
Cons: "Baggage retrieval. Confusing. Rude employee. Unhelpful. My husband circled the airport 4 times while I hunted down my bag and found it in a different location. It was a horrible experience."
Cons: "I was in the last group boarding and the gate agent made me check my carry on bag. I explained it was important to me to keep my carry on with me on the plane. Instead of helping me make it work I was forced to check it at the gate. Upon boarding, there were plenty of overhead spaces for my bag. There was then a mechanical failure, a fuel pump that was faulty. This is not anyone's fault or at all controllable, but the way things were handled was ridiculous. There was 1 gate agent for 2.5 hours handling everyone who needed to re book. In my case I simply needed to cancel my flight (because I had already missed my meeting) and needed to get my bag brought up so I could go home. I was told I needed to wait in line. So I waited for 3 hours. Then waited another 1.5 hours for my bag to come up from bag check. The agents there were not all that helpful or concerned about my experience yesterday whatsoever. I will likely never fly united again and I travel a lot. I will also likely express my dislike for united to anyone I can going forward. In one flight, one experience, you lost this customer for good."
Pros: "The leg space was great."
Cons: "The wifi never worked in either of the planes. There was mechanical failure and we were laid over in New Jersey for 3 hours. I paid $1200 dollars for two tickets that were suppose to fly us out to San Juan from Atlanta but a layover in New Jersey had to happen first. However the lay over ended up being 3 hours vs 1 hour and we missed a night in our hotel because of it. We landed in San Juan about 3 am and we took United flight from Atlanta at 3pm the afternoon before so we were beyond frustaited being that it was our Anniversary and all. So I will try not to fly United EVER AGAIN."
