Handy location across from Union Station. We took the train from the airport (buy your $10.50 tickets via the Uber app) and saved 60% on the car rental Vs. what they wanted at the terminal! Trains run every 15mins..and it’s a 40min trip by car/train either way..Reviewed 23 Jan 2023

Total rip off! They conveniently don't have the car reserved; and then the "comparable" one isn't 4-wheel drive and of course they strongly suggest it's needed for our travel. And conveniently the only 4-wheel drives they have are large SUV's or an expensive BMW SUV which was cheaper than the American SUV's. The rental goes from a $350 to over $1300!! The car isn't clean with an excuse of the road conditions. Also, had to wait over 15 minutes at airport to be picked up...all while watching every other car rental bus drive by more than once! That was our first clue this might be questionable. Should have never used since I hadn't even heard of them either. Shame on me! In all our years of taveling, this is hands down the biggest scam we've encountered! First time using them and will be the last! Kayak....need to do a better job of researching who you allow on your site. I've used Kayak for several years and have been please, but this certainly opened my eyes to not solely trusting who you sponsor. No one should ever expect to pay OVER a $1000 more for a rental when they did the due diligence of reserving one weeks in advance all to be given a line of bull%^^&!Reviewed 18 Jan 2023

Car was fine. Price ok. Was not the most intuitive to navigate the facility, e-mail notifications, and communications. Limited signage. The rapid pick up process was not clear. I thought I could skip the counters and go right to car. But I still had to wait in line and with through a desk agent. Wait in line for an hour because they don’t have enough staff. They said that shuttle only starts at a certain time so I had to order a Lyft just to get there and see the shuttle going so that was a waste of money.Reviewed 18 Nov 2022

Sixt has predatory lending practices. The quote provided was $220 for a luxury SUV, it was around $50-70 per day plus fees. When you get there, they say road chips from everyday wear and tear would cause 'Damage' and that they recommend purchasing at least the insurance for the outside. Thinking they would nitpick the smallest little chip which is quite frankly, completely unavoidable driving any car, I purchased the insurance which was presented hastily and without transparency. The deposit they take for the car was 5 times what I was quote ($1,000) which is a mortgage payment, and the insurance was more expensive than the daily rental cost! All in all, I went with this reservation because it was on par with cars on Turo price wise and it looked more convenient for the Airport. Little did I know I would be paying a total around $450... more than double what I expected to pay initially. Will never rent from them again.Reviewed 11 Nov 2022

When returning the car to the Denver airport, I got stuck in 2 traffic jams. The first one was for an hour and the second one was about 45 minutes. This put me in a situation where I didn't have time to fill the truck with gasoline by the airport (which is what I ususally do). I was charged $10.99 a gallon which totaled $200. This is simply outrageous. I could see paying a little more than the going price, but this was absolutely ridiculous. I would say this is price gouging. Rental was excellent. Drop-off was excellent. Really impressed with those aspects. Only thing that could be improved was the time spent during pickup. It still seems like this process should be as simple as entering my info into an automated kiosk to get my keys from a self-service locker, rather than waiting 20 min for a human to finish helping others.Reviewed 10 Oct 2022

Pickup took a long time--I saw between 1 and 3 shuttles for all other agencies pass me by and never one from Sixt. I ended up getting to the desk on another agencies shuttle after the driver took pity on me and I walked next door to Sixt. At the counter, I was hard sold on extra insurance despite having purchased already from Kayak. I tried to use their webpage/app to preload my driver license and picture to save time, but it did not work correctly, and after doing it all twice, I still have to go to the counter where they did it all again, The car I reserved was not available but they gave me an "upgrade" (which they were going to do anyway due to the lack of availability) to apologize for the long pickup wait and app annoyances. In addition to this, the rental car area is quite a bit away from the airport via shuttle. It took over an hour to get from the jetbridge to out of the airport via Sixt.Reviewed 1 Oct 2022
