Pickup — staff was both rude and incompetent. When picking up, I asked to change my dropoff date. After huffing about it, the staff person told me the new price... but conveniently forgot to update the reservation because I was later charged an early return fee. So then I obviously had to call to get it reversed — which no one likes wasting their time doing. Why couldn’t this have been simple and seamless, as usual? Only one reason - the staff. Dropoff — again, the staff person was exceptionally rude. She asked me to get in line when I was only literally mentioning that I was dropping off. Not EVERYONE is trying to cut in line all the time! Sometimes we just don’t want to wait for 6 other people to get helped for a 1 second FYI!10.0 Wonderful

My reservation was for 3pm. I arrived a little after 3 and the rental location was closed. Nowhere on the app or in the reservation process was it made clear that the location closed at 3. I tried to make another reservation somewhere, but the Kayak app showed no cars available anywhere. Literally none. Very, very disappointed in the whole experience. And I’d like a refund of the $22 pre-paid in insurance for a car I never got.2.0 Poor

The shuttle from rental place to terminal took over 40 mins from return time to finally having a bus to take us to terminal. About 4 folks including myself missed out flights. The terminal is only 1 mile away. It was lunch time, I guess it was more important to have lunch than take care of the 20 folks waiting on the shuttle to terminal10.0 Wonderful

Pick-up and drop-off was a fairly simple process.Cons:
When we received our car, the tire pressure light was on. We connected with an employee who filled the tires with air. When finished, the light was still on, but the employee said that "it's because the tires need some time to warm up" (it had snowed two days in a row previously). We had a car for a total of three days and two nights. The tire pressure light never turned off. I wish the employee had taken more care to look into the issue and/or escalate the matter so that we could receive a new car.2.0 Poor

Car smelled like cigarettes, i prepaid online and then was charged extra at pickup, more than doubling the rental cost. " Mandatory liability insurance, concession fees that weren't mentioned online and $44 for a toll pass which I chose to add). None of which were mentioned online when reserving and paying "In Full". My $125 car rental turned into $300. Felt like a bait and switch. Dishonest advertising. Once i was there for pickup, i needed the car and had no choice but to pay what they were asking.2.0 Poor

The ladies at the desk were disasters. They were busy playing with each other instead of assisting customers. I had to reminder them many time that I had to go. The lady that help helped to me said I had to upgrade because my car size was not available even though reserved ahead of time. Which I declined but she charged me aways for the upgrade. I spent over 30 mins to get my rental.Ace

The manager at Ace was very rude and had me on the do not rent list for keeping the car a few days longer than the reservation. Which I was in fact in contact with them everyday I kept the car and was being charged everyday that I had it over the time reserved. My trip was extended so I extended my rental. People do it all the time. I was not given my money back that I pre paid towards the rental when I made the reservation.10.0 Wonderful

Really far to get to from JFK - after you take the train to the rental car area you then need to call a shuttle to be picked up. On the return we just threw the shuttle driver $20 and he dropped us off directly at the terminal which was much easier.2.0 Poor

First off staff was very rude, second you cannot get a hold off anyone even with the corporate phone number and third my rental had broken down on me and after hour's of trying to get a hold of someone they said I would have to tow the car on my expense to their location so that I may yet another vehicle.
